Pilgrim Hat Cookies

These No-Bake Pilgrim Hat Cookies fit that description!

Pilgrim Hat Cookies Ingredients:
1 cup vanilla frosting
7 drops yellow food coloring
32 miniature peanut butter cups
1 package fudge-striped cookie
32 mini orange Chiclets gum

Combine frosting and food coloring. Dip the top of the peanut butter cup in yellow frosting and position over center hole of cookie, forming the hatband and crown. Add gum as “buckle.” Repeat with remaining cookies. Makes 32 cookies. (Recipe taken from Taste of Home)

  9. I LOVE this idea! SUPER cute! I sooo wanted to take these to our church’s Thanksgiving service next week but I cannot find any mini chicklets anywhere. Any ideas on how I can find them?? Or even a good (and cute!) substitute?

I was looking for something cute and super simple for my daughter to make for Thanksgiving (or EeepsGibbon as she says it;-}) She’s 18yo and has Down syndrome, and loves to feel like one of the grown-up girls… it’s so hard to find things that she really can do “all by myself.” We’re excited:-D
