  1. Such a great reminder, Courtney, for a season when many of us will have those "opportunities" to practice love.

  2. Thanks for sharing, Courtney. I love your line turning a relationship from "pain" to "gain". What a helpful reminder! Your blog is always so informative, inspirational, and helpful. Keep up the great work! 🙂

  3. I love you video blogs! I find this so helpful during this time of year although I live near my family so I need to practice this often. It was such a great reminder that as christians we must be a witness to God's love and we can only do that when we are filled with His Word.

  4. This video really ministered to me especailly the part about loving people not to earn their love but because God love us!That is real christianity and i can only pray that i can apply that to my life.God bless you once more!

  5. Just found your blog (love the content by the way!) so I hope it's okay to comment on this. I long to have a better relationship with my difficult in-laws and show them Christ's love. This post and your post about your movie standards really spoke to me. Question: My MIL does childcare for us one day a week so I can work and help my husband financially. She does not have the same standards when it comes to tv/movies as my husband and I. I want to show her honor and respect but I am concerned about the childrens minds which will in turn affect their hearts and souls. We've been praying about this situation and I'm hoping that a more mature Christian like you would have some recommendations. Thank you for being a Titus 2 woman!!

  6. Anonymous – this is a very hard one – but my go to answer is pray. You mentioned that you have done this – so after praying have YOUR HUSBAND go to her and tell her his thoughts. It will come much better from him than from you.

I pray your husband will be willing to do this. I know it's not easy but if you don't protect your children who will? It's our job as parents to do this.

    Much Love,
    Courtney
