My Pictures from The Relevant Conference

Left to Right: ComfyInTheKitchen, Me, Peak313, TheBetterMom

Thank you to everyone who joined me for the Blog Bash 2011!!! I had an amazing time at Relevant and am excited to share the pictures with you! I plan to write more tomorrow about all I learned but today I’m just going to post pictures – because I am deliriously tired!!! Being with all my virtual friends was TOO amazing for me to sleep through – but I’m paying for it now – I’m too old for over nighters lol!!!

So my “real life friend” Janelle from Comfy In The Kitchen drove.

And about 30 minutes into the drive, I asked her when we’d need to stop for gas.  That’s when we realized this…

So we all had a good laugh – filled her up and 6 1/2 hours later we were in Hershey, PA for the Relevant Conference!

There I roomed with…

Joy – the Gracefullmama – who flew half way around the world from Indonesia to be a keynote speaker – this girl spoke truth that challenged me to the core!  What an honor it was to enter into her life for just a few short days and peak at pictures of her friends and co-laborers over pizza, Diet Coke, tears and laughter.  I do think we spent half our weekend laughing and the other half crying!  It was an up and down sort of time we had together – and both the belly laughs and tears were soothing to the soul!  We had adjoining doors so these are the other roomies…

Darlene – the Time Warp Wife – who flew in from Canada!, Janelle from Comfy In The Kitchen

My real-life friend Clare from Peak 313 Fitness and Ruth – the editor of The Better Mom – a Moody Grad too!

There was one girl there who was not acting like herself at all! She was SOOOOO quiet all week long!

Flat Angela – she shared a bed with Darlene!

And then there were these that came unexpectedly…a hug from home…

The hubby sent them with a card that read “God gave me you.”  That’s a gold star for him right 🙂 !!!!!

Last year, Relevant was excellent…my expectations were high and it didn’t just meet them but far exceed them this year! Way to go!!!

And thank you Jesus for moving in the hearts of the women there.  I saw you in every smile, every kind word, every hug, and in unexpected ways.

I cannot wait to share more with you tomorrow!  But I can’t write another word…I’m obviously exhausted because I left HALF my clothes in the drawers at the Sheraton Hotel – turbo blond moment!  I called and the Sharaton is mailing them all to me – free of charge!  Way to go with great customer service Sheraton!!!  Thank you!

Walk with the King,
