My FAVORITE Food Blogger and personal real-life friend – Janelle from Comfy In the Kitchen is back with a great smoothie recipe!  She writes:

Oh, how I love a cool, fresh, fruit smoothie! Make these for breakfast or have them as a treat on a sunny afternoon. Here is a delicious recipe you and your entire family will enjoy! This is a healthier option in place of going out for ice cream or making milkshakes at home, yet still just as satisfying!

  1. These are yummy….I like to freeze our bananas and strawberries in the cases they start to go soft, then use frozen fruit in smoothies and leave out the ice! Prevents the watery taste that happens sometimes. Throw a few frozen peach slices with frozen strawberries and bananas and vanilla yogurt and a splash of milk or orange juice…delicious! My kids love them!

  2. Hi there! I found your blog over at Kelly’s Korner! I am on the east side of Cleveland and wanted to say a quick hello! I am a SAHM of a 2 year old girl and 6 week old baby boy. Enjoy this beautiful weather we are finally having!

  3. This smoothie looks and sounds delicious! I woudn’t use soy milk though, due to its high estrogen content. I will replace it with coconut or almond milk. Thanks for the great recipe! For more information on the dangers of soy, here is a great article: http://nogreaterjoy.org/articles/soy-alert/

    God bless!

  4. Hi,
I have just found your blog and really love it.
The recipe looks so delicious and thank you for the link to yet another wonderful blog.
    Have a great day.
    Blessings

  5. These are delicious I make them often for breakfast or for a quick something to keep me from being hungry when I’m on the run. I choose to omit the orange juice though because I am a diabetic and the OJ tends to elevate my blood sugar levels but I often modify the fruit and add peaches, grapes and mango. :o)
