Today my husband and I celebrate 15 years of marriage!
I can’t believe it’s 15 years already!!!
You might notice that my husband married a brunette and well {cough} - now he’s married to a blond lol! The more grey hairs I get – the blonder I get!
Keith and I are not sappy types – we are both very busy with all our irons in the fire – but I must say that one thing he does that melts my heart…okay two things he does are 1.) we live just one minute from a Starbucks and a Dairy Queen – major diet busters! lol! So it takes crazy willpower for me to not turn into these drive thru’s but regularly my husband shows up at the door with a Mocha Frappucino or Dairy Queen sundae. The fact that I was on his mind and he took the time to sit in a drive thru for me – priceless!!!
Another very sweet thing he does – is when he hears the song “God Gave Me You” while he is driving in the car – he takes a picture of the radio and emails it to me, to let me know he’s thinking of me. I love this honey!

Happy Anniversary to my tall, dark and handsome prince charming! I’m so thankful for your strong hands, broad shoulders, long hugs and cowboy boots! Your patience with the kids, work ethic, protection, provision, and vision are admirable. Your sense of humor – a God-send. Thank you for your steadiness, listening ear, faithfulness, and fearlessness. You are truly brilliant and you are my greatest inspiration.
You are a gift – God Gave Me YOU!
I love you for forever and a day!
Your lady,
Courtney

Love thid post!! Happy anniversary and many blessings on your marriage and your family!!
Happy Anniversary to you Courtney! My husband and I just celebrated 16 years in July.
Love it!! Happy Anniversary. So sweet to have a husband that thinks of even the little things. And I love that song too…Blake is wonderful
Happy Anniversary! Sending you the pics of the song is so sweet!!
Awwwww!!!!! It sure is those little things that melt our hearts! Happy Anniversary you two! Love ya!
What a sweet post! Happy Anniversary! And thank you for encouraging other women in their marriages as you live out yours in a way that reflects the gospel!
Happy Anniversary to you both! I just love this post b/c it reminds me about the things that are really important. I learned a while back to let go of the romantic gestures that I long for, I think the yearning for those things came from TV and movies I watched as a young girl, and to take joy in the great husband that I have. Like you there are things my husband does for me out of love, jumping in the car at night to go down the street and grab a cookie from the bakery to comfort my sweet tooth, stops by my office to have lunch with me, texts me sweet things throughout the day, I could go on and on. He’s an amazing man and I would MUCH rather have him show his love through the genuine things he does than not do them at all and occasionally show up with flowers.
I think it’s beautiful and SO MUCH more romantic when a man shows his affection the way he knows how. My husband isn’t the “romantic” type, but I’m beginning to learn… that he is for me.
Thanks for posting this, I think the love between you two is too sweet
Happy Anniversary! I loved the picture collage and the sweet things your husband does for you.

Happy Anniversary…what a sweet post sis! Congrats! Thank you for sharing….it was very encouraging!
So sweet! It really is the little things that can mean so much!
So sweet! I love that song too, but never heard Blake Shelton sing it. I guess I am out of the loop! LOL! I hear it though on the Christian radio station and love it. It is now in my head! What a wonderful example you both are. I think it is great too that you were able to show to the world on the RR show what a godly home looks like. Love your blog!
My husband and I celebrate 14 years today!
Happy Anniversary Courtney and Keith! You have a very strong marriage there and it shows in how you juggle everything with the blog and schooling and travel and ..and…and… (and all of Keith’s obligations too!) God has blessed you both! I too, am celebrating “us”. 25 yrs ago today David asked me on my first date! Little did I know at almost 17, God had chosen him to be my future husband!
Congratulations again!
Happy, happy anniversary! May God bless you with many more years together!
I love your posts…I have been following you for a year or so now! I just wanted to let you know that we share the same wedding anniversary! I have you beat by one year! We are celebrating our 16th today! I have to be honest that this year has been the hardest and we are struggling in many areas of our life. We are working together w/ God to patch the holes and holding onto each other! Well, enough of me….Happy Anniversary
This made me smile. It’s the song I have on my cell phone that rings when my hubby calls me
Congratulations! Our Anniversary is Sept. 10th (18 years). I remember when we used to say to each other, “I don’t know why people keep saying marriage is so hard?” Well, after 18 years we know NOW, but we still love each other.
Happy anniversary! Ours is the 6th as well! 9 years for us! Many blessings to you.
Hi Courtney! Happy Anniversary! You’re blessed with a wonderful family! =) Greetings from Mexico!
Congratulations!!!! Thanks for the video too. The song is awesome – your sweet witness to the goodness of God is encouraging – and the love you and your hubbie share is inspiring, cause we all know how hard it is for two different people to always be in harmony. God is So Great!!
You guys are so sweet. I love that song too.
And you both look great for your age – living for God really does make you look better!
