  7. Thanks for the pick me up. I am new as of this week and I spent all day yesterday surfing your blog and your links. I just love it. I was wondering how to get the ebook The Proverbs 31 Woman, I cannot link to it from my email subscription. I look forward to visiting daily. God Bless

  8. 3 1/2 years ago I was told by a lady that around this time this year I would find out I was pregnant with a baby and it was going to be a boy. (This lady has never been wrong when it comes to telling you if ur having a boy or girl or whatnot) well here we are 3 1/2 years later and for the past 11 days I have been having symptoms. One could say its pregnancy but one could say its my weird stomach and body playing tricks with me (it likes to do that). I asked God yesterday for a sign Bc I am on the Mirena, have never felt like this while on it and I just need a sign I wanted to see a rainbow. Well I wake up this morning and when I go to check my email here is this picture. So now I am more confused as to whether its by chance or it means something. I’m just still confused. (I do love the pic and saying tho!)

  9. I soooo believe this! I see it in my life! I think I am going to make a painting of this! Beautiful! Patsy from HeARTworks and papemelroti

  10. Spoken like somebody who has/had neither husband nor kids.

    • Hi Laura – Elizabeth Elliot (the woman I quoted) is one of my heroes of faith. She went to the mission field in Ecuador to the Auca Indians where her husband was a missionary pilot carrying food, goods and the gospel to the Indians. She had a daughter named Valerie and when their daughter was just a toddler the Auca Indians speared her husband to death. :’(

She chose to stay with the Auca Indians and continue to take the gospel to them and eventually many of them were born again. Then she wrote many books including “Through Gates of Splendor” – my favorite book of all time!

This woman knows pain, hardache, sacrifice and pursuing the joy of the Lord.

I encourage you to read one of her books – she’ amazing! http://www.amazon.com/Elisabeth-Elliot/e/B000APCY04/ref=sr_ntt_srch_lnk_1?qid=1348619414&sr=8-1

      Lots of Love,
      Courtney
