Women Living Well

and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28

11am  Darlene –Your Marriage

12pm  Chick-Fil-A lunch

1pm  Ruth –Your Parenting

2pm  Clare –Your Health

The Format:
Each speaker will speak for 15 minutes.
Then we will move to “The View” format for a lively round table discussion on the topic for the hour.

We also made this video below we called “The View”. This gave me the idea to make our conference a little more interactive – rather than just speakers at a podium.

The Women Living Well Conference was created to encourage women to Live Well. We will only live well when we drink from the living well – that is – the living waters of God.

“But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:14

We hope that you will relax, be refreshed and find inspiration in your walk with God, marriage, parenting, homemaking and ministries outside the home.

  1. I grew up about an hour outside of Akron but military orders have me in far west Texas. I forwarded this info onto my family/friends. I have two sisters in Akron and would love to see them attend. I SO wish that I could go.

  2. I am planning to be there! I just hope I’m able to purchase my ticket before they are sold out. SO exciting!!

  3. would love to come, but live in Berlin, Germany… maybe one day you give a conference here! 🙂 Besides I want to thank you all for your great work you do for women and specially moms… I follow your blog and books and it has changed our lives and helped us as a family sooo much. THANK YOU!!! and have a great time at the conference…

  4. I can’t tell you how excited I am to come-I live in Ohio and will be making the trek! Thank you girls, for all you do to encourage us in the Word. I look forward to your posts each week!

  5. I’ll be there!! Can’t wait to meet you Courtney 🙂 I’ve got a reminder set on my iPhone to order tickets 😀

  6. Planning to come as long as I can get my ticket before they are sold out. Super duper excited!!! Was looking for a conference to attend and I know almost all these ladies from their blogs!!

  7. I live in SC and oh would so love to come!!! I will be waiting for it to air online! God’s blessings on all you ladies as you prepare for this conference. I am sure it will touch many!!!

  8. I wish I could go!!! I love your post, your videos! You guys are soo inspiring !! I love that video where you guys are discussing about the lady with the husband that wants the house cleaner, all your ideas!! I wish you could help me out with your wisdom too… I have a dilma, I am a working mom wishing she could stay home with her 3 girls and one on the way, my husband has his own business and I help him with the business as well, I feel like he could step it up more on his business so that I could stay home, he doesn’t see the need for me to stay home at all, but there soo many times where I am soo stress because I am doing my job 8-5 and run his business phone calls during my job (thank God I have a good boss) and then come home try to attend to the girls cook dinner and so many other things. I have resentment toward him because when his work starts to increase he just wants to get someone else instead of him doing the work so that extra income can stay home and I could eventually stay home but as his income comes in it goes out to pay the other employees and we just stay with the mininum to pay bills, and what I bering in is to for the girls and for groceries… I am soo wrong to feel recentment toward him? I have asked the Lord to show me if I am wrong but I just feel the anger growing inside of me…. The spring season is when his business starts to pickup and the winter there is no work as he works outside, so he doesn’t even save to have for the winter months so I feel I have to work …. I am so sorry I guess I am venting here!! But I do find your Women living Well sooo helpfull. Please if anyone has any ideas or advice I would gladly take it!! I feel so recentful toward him especially now that I have my fourth baby on the way…..

      1. Thank you so much for caring and replying back!!

I saw the post and it was really helpfull

Thank you again!!! You are too sweet God bless you!

  9. Have you ever thought about having an optional 11am session for single women or an optional 1pm session about infertility for women that are not parents? I just thought that would be a nice option. Sessions on marriage or parenting can be painful for women who long to have those things and do not. Many blessings to you! – Kelly

  10. I am really hoping to be able to go! Thankfully it is right after my daughter’s first birthday and before my husband goes on a 3 week mission trip!! And since I live down by Cincinnati, the drive is not horrible! Really hope I get to come and meet you all!

  11. Wow! This sounds great – love those faces!! What a great group of speakers.
And the topic Rest in the Home- yes!
I won’t be able to go this time but shouting *Yay* on the sidelines!!!!!Yaaay

  14. This conference is a prayer answered, I’ve been wanting to go to a conference for two years, but haven’t been able to afford it, but now you’re coming to my hometown! Thank you! And I’m bringing friends!

  15. Oh man, so many of my favorite bloggers coming together in person! I love it! I wish Ohio wasn’t quite so far from Kansas so I could attend in person, but I will absolutely be waiting to see it online! All of you are such wonderful ladies, and I can’t wait to see more!

Thank you for all that you do!

    Jennifer

  16. I sooo want to attend! And maybe even invite a friend or two. While in graduate school I lived in Akron and attended the chapel….so would be my old stomping grounds:) I live in the Columbus area now so not to far away!

  17. I can’t tell you how excited I am!!!! I love all your blogs and can’t wait to be there!! 18. That sounds great and wish I would e able to make it! But the military just move us out to Cali. and we have already make a trip to Ill. this year for Hearts at Home. I’m so sorry that I will not be there I think it would be great.. Can not wait to see them online when they are up! Good luck with this..Is this something that you are planning to do each year? We will pray for you all and that it goes well

  19. IS the conference suitable or a good idea for young women who are not married yet but wanting to prepare for their future families?

    1. I would have LOVED a conference like this before I was married. I hope that it will be light hearted and encouraging to all women :)!
      Courtney

  20. Hi!

I am attending with a few friends and am very excited about it! I was hoping you had a vegetarian option for those of us that don’t eat meat?!??

    Thanks!
    Carly

    1. Hi Carly!

The two lunch choices are Chick-Fil-A sandwich or Chick-Fil-A grilled chicken salad. If you’d like us to hold the chicken on the salad we can do that with no problem. Just send me an email with this request and I’ll forward it to our conference director 🙂
      Courtney

  21. Hi Courtney!
I ran across your website while I was doing research for a
non-profit organization I work with called Operation Parent in Louisville,
Ky. (Home office just moved to Oldham County)
I am working on a Christian booklet to go along with our
Parent Handbook that helps parents be more aware of today’s toxic
Preteen/Teen culture. I LOVE your website and what you and your friends
are doing!! I’m a stay at home mom and work from home and now I try to check out
your website after my bible study in the mornings. Very encouraging!! I was just
wondering if there would be booths set up on issues to help mommas at your conference. If so, how much would that cost? I think our Parent Handbook could be very helpful
and just wanted to check with you on this. Thanks so much, Courney!
Keep doing what you’re doing!! Love it!!:) God bless, Kisha

  22. I just found out about this conference (Aug. 10, 2013)! Do you have the conference in the same place each year or do you change venues?
