Low-Fat Chili

This is the easiest and most delicious chili recipe you'll ever find. It is so full of flavor that you won't believe it's guilt-free! #womenlivingwell #easyrecipe #chili #lunch
We all know a hearty soup warms the bodies and souls of our loved ones. Janelle, from Comfy in the Kitchen, is here today with the perfect Low-Fat Chili recipe to serve our families.
This Chili is so good, you won’t even notice that it is low in fat! I served this recently when friends came over for a bible study … they had no clue I substituted ground turkey for traditional Italian Sausage! When they found out it was low in fat, they had a second helping to make up for the calories (haha!)
Enjoy! ~Janelle

  1. I grew up in Ohio and married a Texan where they don’t put beans in their chili and it is super spicy hot, I love a good chili recipe with beans, even if I have to make it just for myself!

This looks so good, but there is not a hint of fall yet in Dallas, but….around the corner the best season of the year waits for me! And a season for chili!

  2. This chili recipe is quite similar to my own (although I’ve never done sausage – I’ll have to try that).
However, there’s a couple things I add which make such a difference to me that I just have to mention them –
First, a small can of tomato paste give it a wonderful, thick texture.
Another thing my chili isn’t complete without is corn. I toss in a handful of frozen sweet corn right at the end. It’s so good!
Finally, along with cheese and sour cream, I serve my chili with white rice. It’s not for everyone, but it adds a new dimension to the dish (and makes it stretch farther when you’re feeding a crowd).
    Thanks for sharing your recipe!
