  2. I enjoyed the book club SO much! Thanks for all you do, Courtney! I read the book when I first got it in November and then a second time with the book study. I constantly told other ladies at church about the book. A few weeks ago the Lord put it on my heart to share this with others from church. Thanks to all the resources you’ve made available, I will be leading a class of young married women and a couple women who are engaged to be married this year. Have a great break, Courtney!

  3. Dear Courtney,

thank you so much for writing the book, for going through it with us. It has been an inspiring and meaningful journey and I enjoyed it tremendously!

I hope you will have a peaceful b reak together with your family. You certainly deserve it ! 🙂

I am also looking forward to the 1-week series as it is about a topic that is near my heart.

    Thanks again.

  4. Thank you Courtney,
I’m sad I’ve completed reading the book but over joy that my “Walk with the King” will be richer & intentional in all areas because of the seeds planted from your words. May our Father grant you sweet rest for your “beautiful hands” as you take time away.
Thank you for allowing The King to use you in such a rich way. I will be praying about my dreams & continue to pray for you as well. Can’t wait to see what’s next☺️!

    Thank you again!

  6. Good morning, Courtney! I am soooo excited about this amazing resource. I know that I am probably going to be leading a bible study at our small church in the future. It’s always hard to get women to teach, and when they mentioned it to me a few weeks ago, I was really hesitant because most of the women are 20+ years older than me (I’m 25) and I feel like I have nothing to teach them. I kinda gave them a “if you really can’t find anyone else…” answer, and they did find a lady who agreed to do the current study that we just started. Since that time I’ve been praying and thinking about a study that I could do in the future with this wonderful group of ladies that would encourage their everyday walk with God (the whole Living Well idea ;))~I am thrilled about all of the resources you are providing! I actually just ordered your book last week. We just bought a house and I was not spending extra money the first two months of the year, but I finally decided last week that I NEEDED your book 🙂 So it’s on its way! And then this email popped up in my inbox, and I was just beyond excited! I am wondering though…will these links be available indefinitely? I don’t want to go for them 3 months from now and not have them anymore, but I also can’t download the chapter links…I so don’t want to miss out on this opportunity! Thank you so much for providing it!

    1. Yes – these will remain on my site indefinitely and I’m so excited to hear that God is laying this on your heart. I am praying you now!
      Lots of Love,
      Courtney

  7. This is great to have all the links together! I am hosting a book club in my home. Unfortunately, we haven’t been connecting regularly because of weather and illness so next week we are covering weeks 3 & 4. A little behind yours so this post is excellent and one I’ll bookmark to reference as we work our way thru. Thanks!

  8. Hi Courtney, enjoy your break! I am very excited to follow your next series because I have been wanting to start a ministry in my local church to encourage women who like myself are married to non-believers and I didn’t know where to start. I already talked to my pastor and he gave me thumbs up so this will give me an idea. God bless you and thank you for lifting up our spirits through God’s word daily.

  9. I really enjoyed your book! I am very excited about the upcoming blog series…about being married to a non-believer. It speaks directly to me. I’m happy to see that I’m not alone in that situation, and I’m hoping to find encouragement.

    Warmly,
    April

  10. I have followed your blog for a long time and I was wondering if you have this book translated in Spanish and the the guide. I go to an all Spanish church and even though I am not a leader in the church my dad is the pastor and I would love to share this book with the women in the church. If you could please email me that will be great. Thanks

  11. I just wanted to tell you that you are such a blessing in my house. Your video ‘Happy At Home’ was awesome. I am a naturally solemn person but I try daily to make sure to put a smile on my face, after all, I am sanctified by the God! When I am stressed or having a bad day, I immediately want to go to my room and sit down in my chair with the Bible and just read until I feel better. Sometimes I feel as if I am failing miserably and others I am proud of myself for coming closer to being the type of wife (person) the Lord wants me to be!

  12. Courtney, I finally finished your book (after 3 months). I started with the book club in January but hit a snag around chapter 10 (nothing to do with the book). I was so excited to begin and somehow let worry and stress creep in. So, my reading fell by the wayside. Slowly the book made it to the bookshelf in the hallway. Everyday I passed by, it would speak to me. Most days I would keep walking feeling sorry for myself and didn’t feel much like the effort but I continued to hear the plea to start again. I know it wasnt really you but it was God working through you. I wanted you to know how much I appreciate the work you have done and the sacrifices you have made from your family to share with me (us). I grew up in a traditional Christian family but struggled with my faith. I still feel so new and unsure of so much. There have been many times I have longed for bible study groups and to learn more of what it means to be a Godly Wife and Mother. I am thankful for Good Morning Girls and Women Living Well and the resources you bring to so many women just like me. Thank you for helping me in my walk with God. I will pray for your guidance and strength as you continue your journey. You are truly a blessing.

  13. Courtney,
Thank you for these resources. My daughter is 22 and one of the few girls from her high school that is not a mother or a wife/live-in. These girls tend to gravitate to our house for a number of reasons, but I believe the biggest one is the loving stability of our home life. My Hubby bought me 10 of your books with the comment and awkward smile , “Not that you need these, but I just feel led to give them to you.” I am going to sit these girls down and have a little summer book study, while they are hanging out in my garden. I am hoping to touch their lives in a positive way and help them grow as women in Christ, not just for them, but for the next generation they are raising.

    1. WOW!!!! This message made me tear up! The thought of you lovingly leading these women blessed me so much. I am praying for you all right.now. I pray God uses you and his word mightily in their lives.

      Thank you so much for leaving this comment – you blessed me so much -{and gold star for your hubby! 😉 }
      Lots of Love,
      Courtney

  14. Courtney, I emailed you last night but also wanted to comment here to share that I am leading a small group of women through this book, along with your webcasts! I am so so excited to share it with others and plant seeds of hope for our future generations! Please pray for me as a leader as well as the ladies taking part, and our families. Bless you!!

  15. So excited we are starting the study on this book this coming Tuesday as our summer study… thank you for not just a wonderful book but for the wonderful resources…

  16. I have to ask, in the event you don’t know that it’s a video you can click on your website above, why is there a Dhanvantari Mantra you can chant 108 times to receive healing? It’s extremely demonic and right in the middle of this beautiful ministry’s video selections. Just thought you should know or if you know it’s there, I have to ask why?

      1. Ugh! Not good. Thank you for making me aware. I have no control over what videos youtube suggests at the end of one of my videos. I apologize that is happening.

        Much Love,
        Courtney

  17. Thank you Courtney for writing this wonderful book. And for the study guide to use. Our HS co-op is about to use this book as our devotional/discussion piece for our monthly Mom’s meetings. I have one question, is there a way to get several copies of the book to distribute to our Mom’s? I appreciate any advice.

  18. Hi Coutney! Such an amazing study… our group (that just completed Ministry of Motherhood) has chosen your book as our next study. We are so excited. Thanks for the great materials.
Quick question… there’s a lot on your site… are there SOAP verses to go with your book? We really enjoyed having a daily verse of top of our reading. If there are, can you direct me to them? Thank you so much!

    1. I’m sorry there are no verses to SOAP with my book. There is just the companion study guide that you’ll see a link for in this post.

Sounds like you have a great group God has blessed you with!

      Keep shining!
      Courtney 🙂

  19. Hi, coutney!
I’m new to your website and blog and I’m really enjoying it.
I’m going to get right to the point, lol. I’m struggling right now and have been for awhile almost 3 yrs to be exact. I’ll try to make a long story short, my husband and i felt that God was saying we needed to move from GA to IN. We did. I had been a stay at home mom for 17 yrs, moving to IN thing’s did not go how i thought they were going to be. I’m left feeling mad at God and my husband and I’m no longer able to be a stay at home mom. Like you that was always my dream. Now, i have to work. I need prayer to deal with this new season in my life, that I’m not happy about at all. Since moving up here i have no friends and no church. Its just work and home. And dealing with kid things when i do get home. Did i mention i have 5 children? One is grown and has left the nest. This has been on my heart for a long time now. Thanks for listening.

  20. I am new to this website and I honestly have to say that this is a great reference! I was wondering if there will be videos for each chapter of the book that we are studying? Also what if I miss something? I am SO excited to use this great tool to become closer to our Lord. Thank you so so much for this!!

  21. I do not know how to get to your blog. I am not a computer functioning person, need child like instructions
