Welcome Home Good Morning Girls!

GMG500x500

“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone?  And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”
~Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Welcome Home Good Morning Girls!

We are about to begin a new series titled: Blogging Through the Bible.

For those who were a part of the old GMG, you may notice there are a few changes as we begin.

No enrollment.

No requirement to subscribe.

No hoops.

No hurdles.

Just come and join in as you can. If you would like to do this alone and at your own pace that is fine.  I will be your accountability partner here at the blog. Just come visit me a few times a week – I’ll be here for you.

What is Good Morning Girls?

“Good Morning Girls” is a title for a group of women who use email, Facebook, Twitter or text messaging to keep each other accountable for their quiet times.

Do Good Morning Girls groups have to follow your reading plans?

No, you may have an accountability group that is named “Good Morning Girls” but be in a group Bible study at your church, you may be following another on-line Bible study or each be doing your devotions in different books of the Bible.  You do not have to all be studying the same passage but you do have to want to share openly what God is teaching you, pray for one another and support each other on an on-going basis.

How to Start a Good Morning Girls accountability group.

1.)  Invite some of your friends to join you.  Pray about who from your church, Bible study group, family, neighborhood or workplace would be a good fit.

2.) Groups that are smaller generally work better – 5-12 is a good number especially for email and text messaging groups. Facebook groups can go quite a bit larger and still work.

Not sure who to invite?

WLW Forum a place to connect

Visit the forum here at Women Living Well (go to the bottom of the forum) and find a group to join.  Groups are forming based on interests like military wives, international women, homeschool moms, working moms and more.  This forum will close on September 7th and not re-open until January.

Are you a leader of a GMG group?

GMG Leadership Team

There’s a GMG Leadership Facebook Group created just for you! This group is a place where group leaders can come together with ideas, questions, concerns and gather graphics for their group studies.  This is a closed group.  Go here and request to join in.

How do we notify you and let you know that our group exists?

I am not tracking the numbers. This ministry is not about numbers but about depth. But I do want to welcome you as your groups begin.  So on the first Sunday of each month, I will ask those who are committed to that months’ reading plan to comment in the comment section. I will also ask for those who are not using the GMG reading plan but do have a GMG group, to share what their group is studying that month. I’d love to hear what you all are doing!!!

Are you a blogger who would like to join me on this journey?

If you have a blog and plan to blog your way through the Bible with me, I will have a link-up on Fridays for you.  Simply post your post anytime during the week and then come here on Fridays sand share it with all of us!  You are welcome to use all of the GMG graphics on your blog.

How are you doing all of this alone?

Here at Women Living Well, I have never had an assistant or helper.  When you see me pop up on facebook, twitter, pinterest, instagram, or comments here at the blog – that is me.  All of the things I do under the “Women Living Well” name will continue to be 100% me.

But at Good Morning Girls, we had many teams and women who worked under the GMG name.

I have a team of 4 that will be helping me.  When they answer your questions here, on Facebook or serve at the forum they will always be answering as themselves.  They will never answer under my profile.

These are the lovely ladies who have generously offered up their time and talents to serve the GMGs:

The GMG Team

Mandy Kelly from Women Of Worship
Rosilind Jukic from Missional Call
Bridget Childress from Becoming a Godly Wife
Misty Leask from Beautiful Ashes

I praise God for these women who quickly came to my aid and have gotten this ministry back on its feet.

**********

In closing, let me share with you a passage of scripture that God has impressed on me recently.

It’s so important that you know –  I know – I am broken.  I am flawed.  I’m just a girl.  A girl on this journey with you.  I might fall down along the way – but I’m committed to getting back up. I might need a break for a week or two, but I’ll be back.  I might say something that is not quite accurate and you might need to help me see my flaw – iron sharpening iron (Proverbs 27:17).  I have not arrived – I am growing right along side of you.  I desperately need Jesus every hour.  So thank you in advance for your patience and grace.  It is my humble honor to serve you in this way as we walk with the king.

I Corinthians 3:5-23 says:

What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task.  I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.

By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.

Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.

Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness”; and again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.” So then, no more boasting about human leaders! All things are yours, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephasc or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours, and you are of Christ, and Christ is of God.” (esv)

Welcome home Good Morning Girls. I’m so glad you are here.

Let’s Walk with the King,

Courtney

  1. Thank you so much, Courntey and the team. We are indeed blessed by your ministry.

I hope it’s okay to ask this here – are there any others from Australia/New Zealand who would like to join an accountability group? And would email or Facebook be better? I’ll keep an eye on the WLW forum if any of you have suggestions or preferences.

    1. Oh Jacqueline- I am sure there will be girls from Australia! Keep watching the forum! The next 2 weeks are going to be busy! 🙂 We are so glad you are here! <3 Mandy

    2. Jacqueline – there was a nice group that formed on Courtney’s last post. I am running over there today to see if we can’t get them on the forums in case others from Australia would like to join, too. I’ll check back here to let you know.

    3. Thank you, Mandy & Rosilind! I think there were about half a dozen of us on the previous post – hopefully we can find each other!

I’m actually going away now until Sunday night on the Emmaus Walk, so I won’t be online for a few days. I’ll check back then.

      1. Hi Jacqueline, I’ve put a reply in the international Facebook group thread. It would be good to have a Australia/NZ group.

  2. I am so excited about this!!! I started a GMG group with some friends from church last Spring and I am looking forward to continuing it. We all study our own thing, but come together through e-mail each morning. I am planning to read through the Bible and blog along with you!

  3. I am so excited to begin this journey with you! I have really felt God working in my life the past few months leading me to several major changes, including a new church home and a new job! I am looking forward to digging deep into all of God’s words, and will be in it for the long haul! This was actually one of the things I mentioned in a GMG survey once! I wanted to do a long term study of the entire Bible! Thanks for making that possible!

  4. As soon as I read “Welcome Home” I felt this wonderful sense of warmth and compassion. Courtney, your blog is what started me on my journey back to Christ, but also helped me see that there is so much more to life when you are “walking with the King.”

A request regarding GMG Facebook groups: would you consider opening one for those of us who are unequally yoked? I reached out to join the SAHM group, so I don’t miss out either way.

    So excited for September 1st!

  5. Oh I am so excited for this! I was excited when I initially read your plan to read through the Bible, now I am even more excited that you have these other wonderful ladies with you, and that there will be a blog link-up, and that there are groups! Love this! Can’t wait to get started!

  6. Several years ago I was struggling. We weren’t going to church and I longed for a relationship with God. Somehow I found your website and read the Proverbs 31 woman. It changed my life. God used that book to teach me how to pray for my husband. After a few weeks of praying without ceasing he came home from work and said God had pressed on his heart to change. We were in church that weekend and haven’t missed one thing since. I became baptized within three months and the kids a few months after that. I did not nag or yell. I prayed. That book changed who I am. I have since read almost all of the bible and committed many verses to memory. We now homeschool our kids and they too can quote verses. So this book didn’t just change me but my whole family, possibly my family tree. I have taught ladies classes and mentored many women pointing them back to the word. I thought might need to know that now, during this time. I pray it encourages you as I have been encouraged. Bless you and your ministry.

    1. Mandy – I have tears in my eyes after reading this. What an incredible testimony. I am so glad you took the time to share it. It really did make my morning. God is so amazing!!

  7. This is just so good!! I was going to look for a new study and GMG fell right back into my lap(top)!! I love the ease of this whole thing. I just wrote a post about “Blogging Through The Bible” and pushed published 🙂 Good night ladies.

  8. I am excited to be on this journey with so many woman, and I love the I accountability factor, I am looking forward to learning so much as we surrender ourselves daily to our Lord and Saviour.

  9. Thanks for accepting me to the group. Looking forward to learning and growing together as we study God’s word.

  10. Going to be exciting! I won’t have internet access on Sundays, so is it fine if I do the study with you but just don’t post a comment on that first Sunday of every month?

  11. Thank you, and welcome back! I really disliked the “having to sign up for a group” part of GMG, I’m so glad that’s gone. I have a wonderful group of women that have formed an informal group at work. We’re happy with that, and although we loved the GMG Bible studies, we missed most of them because we didn’t conform to the expectations. Not all of us wanted to subscribe, we took turns being the group leader, and Facebook and email wasn’t the best thing for us because we are supposed to be *working*! Normally we’d meet for lunch, or something along those lines. And although most of us were comfortable with leading the group from time to time, nobody was willing to stand up and announce that publicly!

Thank you for giving back the freedom to stay flexible in our studies. I can’t wait to get started.

    1. Oh Emmie- so glad to see that you have made it work for YOU! There really is no cookie-cutter way to do this! There are lots of GREAT ways- and you have found what works for you! Excited to know you are joining us! <3

  12. I have just recently received Christ and I have never read through the Bible. Yup, 100% newbie right here! But I’m encouraged to do this and start an amazing journey!!

    1. Shari, that is so wonderful! Just so you know, a lot of Christians have not read the entire bible. I think it is so exciting that you are embarking on this journey. It will completely transform you. It truly is an amazing journey.

      1. Shari, I count you blessed! This is sure going to take you into deeper relationship with our Lord. I tell yah I wish I had this awesome study group to help me walk with the King when I first believed.
        Welcome to the fold.

      1. No. But me niece was talking of participating also. She’s moving right now and going to be welcoming a baby girl soon.

  13. Count me in, Courtney! I’ve been a friend (follower) of yours for years now, and over again you’ve been a sweet example to me of a woman gracious and in love with her Father! I’ve never actually read through the whole Bible, so I’m thrilled to get started! Thanks for simplifying it where us busy mommies of little ones don’t have to remember to do more than we already do, haha!
    Blessings,
    Leslie

    1. It is? I’m so sorry. I redirected it here 4 days ago, but I think if your cache is not refreshed it may still lead the other direction. So sorry. 🙁 Once your “cookies” are cleared it will lead you back here.

      Lots of Love,
      Courtney

  14. Thank you for taking the time to organize this. I’ve never read all the way through the Bible. It’s long over due in my life. I’m really looking forward to growing in my relationship with Christ along with you ladies!

  15. I am so blessed to have fallen on you ladies, a friend directed me to Courtney (when I needed it most) – then I fell into Mandy’s group, but really all the ladies here are so genuine, never met any of them except virtually but I tell so many about my “bible study peeps online” – I am so grateful that my life has turned this route. And now when I need it most, study to bible, intimate, just get to it, no judgment, failures and successes, we are all in it to Win It! Blessings as we go forward.

  16. Thanks so much for this ministry Courtney and team! Will the old studies be available? I was working my way through the Living Like Jesus Luke 1-8 this summer. Thanks! Elizabeth

      1. THANK YOU for that link Courtney! I didn’t even think to check WayBack for those studies. I’ve been wanting the Loving & Leading like Jesus ones 🙂

I’m looking forward to reading through the Bible with you 🙂

        Rachel

  17. I am looking forward to starting a GMG group with a few of my friends who are working or just plain busy moms. I was feeling like I wanted to give them somethig they could partake in without the pressure of showing up every week when they may not be able to do so and I didn’t want to make anyone feel like they were being held accountable for their input I am mainly doing this to strengthen my relationship with The Lord but I would love to help encourage others along my journey and let them know they are never alone and have a sister in God (: I am so happy to start this!

    1. At the moment groups are forming. Yes, if one does not form that you are looking for you are more than welcome to join any group that you want. We are so happy to have you joining us!!

  18. So excited to begin reading the bible through with you all here on Good Morning Girls! Thank you for your ministry Courtney and GMG team!!

  19. So excited I found this. Haven’t decided whether to join a group or start one. So excited to see all the joy that will come from this. I am going to purchase a couple of extra Bibles and as I read through will be highlighting and commenting in the margins for my two daughters and they each have a daughter. I don’t plan on leaving this earth for heaven anytime soon but want to be able to give them a gift of what I felt God’s word had for them through my eyes. Thanks so much for encouraging me – you and your helpers are in my prayers

  20. So excited to be a part of this. Love the transparency! I’m doing this alone, so I very much appreciate the support from you all here!

  21. YAY!!! (throwing the confetti) With tomorrow being my birthday, this is the perfect time for this to happen! Can’t wait to get started!!

Thank you Courtney for continuing to press on! Still praying for you 🙂 <3

  22. Can’t wait to join you. I also am in the process of getting a group together to read through the Bible with you. Very excited about this. It is just want I needed to get refocus and to give a jump start to spiritual growth. It really means a lot to me that you are doing this. Thank you.

  23. I am so excited for this!!! I want to get a small group together to do this and I am really excited. I may request to join the closed Facebook group. I also wanted to ask a question: Is there a new Good Morning Girls Facebook page. The “old” page links up to the Loving God Greatly website, and I want to stay here, with you. Is there or will there be a new page? Or will this all go through WLW?

Thanks for taking the time to read through this message and I look forward to some answers.

PS – I apologize if it has already been asked and answered in the previous comments (I did not read them all)

    1. Hi Kiley!

I will be posting all of the Good Morning Girls information through the social media and ministry of Women Living Well. Hopefully this will make it easy – you’ll only have to follow me in one place – not two 😉

      Good question!
      Courtney

      1. Terrific!!! Thanks for the quick response I look forward to following these studies and digging deeper!!

God Bless your hard work!!! 🙂

  24. SO EXCITED about this! I’m glad you can be our accountability partner if we are not a part of a group. I hope to get some women involved but everyone I know seems to say “I’m busy with the kids or the job, etc”, so it may be hard for me to get a group of women to do this. And I feel a little weird about being in a group with strangers (just my particular personality quirk). But you don’t feel like a stranger after almost 5 years of following your blog! So sharing things on here sounds wonderful! I can’t wait to start this journey with you and the other ladies who follow your blog and I look forward to learning from you and fellow readers. 🙂 And I LOVE that there is no attendance or enrollment! I plan to follow the plan faithfully but see no need for those particular elements on this journey.

  25. Courtney, I have been reading the emails over the past week or so and I just wanted to let you know that I am praying for you. I can’t count the number of times that one thing or another on WLW has benefited me or encouraged me. I just want you to know that God brings you and your ministry to my mind often and you are being lifted up in prayer.

I follow the individual websites of most of your new team members and I’ll be praying for them as well.

  26. Beautiful Scripture choices today! So happy that you have four godly women to assist you. Praying for blessings for all of you and looking forward to the study.

  27. Courtney, I have followed you for a long while but never done GMG. So forgive me if this is a frequently discussed issue, but are you open to having a group whose ideology you disagree with? I am considering starting a group for those of us with a much more liberal/modern/feminist Christian viewpoint. I know I would appreciate a group whose beliefs aligned more closely with mine, but if that isn’t something you want on GMG please feel free to tell me to take a hike!

    1. Oh yes, I would love for you all to join us!!! The hope is that we all grow more like Jesus as we read his word and I am sure that we are all at different places on our journey and growing everyday. As long as you are not joining to stir dissension, I welcome you and am thankful that you would welcome me.

      God Bless!
      Courtney

  28. Hi Courtney,

Is there going to be a printable reading schedule? I would love to be able to print it and check off each day’s reading. If this is too much work to create something like this I totally understand! I love you and the work you do for the Lord to get women everywhere in the Word!

    Mary

  29. I started off right here and for the last four and a half years I’ve gone through the hoops and the hills and vales of my spiritual walk..sometimes there were more vales than hills. I think, the good that has come out of everything is that I’m led right back here…where I started. So the welcome home is really especially touching my heart and I’m really happy to have a fresh start. Praying for everyone on this journey…especially you Courtney..thank you for all that you do and for keeping it real!

    Love and Blessings!

  30. Oh, Courtney, and ladies, SO happy this is back home. I’ll be joining you through the Blogging Through The Bible, and blogging about it. Lord willing…
    I’m so excited!
I’ll need to hop over to the forum, but I’m off of Facebook until October, and so I’m assuming that’ll make it difficult to find a group to join? Either way…I’m in. 😀

    Peggy

  31. Yay!! So excited to be doing this along with my GM girls. We love it and miss it so much. Can’t wait to start. And praying for you sis as God sees you through this and a new chapter .

    Blessings,
    Adrienne

  32. I look forward to going through the Bible! I have always enjoyed your book-read it more than once and I love reading through the Bible and blogging. Women Living Well TV has also been a big encouragement. I am a homeschool mama as well! Thank you!

  33. I’ve been doing a different study with my church reading through key points/stories in the Bible and listening to encouraging sermons. I will continue with that, but I’m really excited to see/read about how God is working through your life and also bringing Good Morning Girls back. Love that you are focusing on the depth and not the numbers. Thank you for your service and ministry to women all over the world!

  34. Good morning! Looking forward to taking this journey through the Bible with you. I have read your blogs and watched your YouTube videos over the last year and they have really inspired me! Thank you for your hard work and dedication.

  35. I am so looking forward to this journey. I recently restarted my blog after being away for quite some time. God used that time to bring me focus and put a calling on my heart to write a Bible Study. I’m still in the early stages, but I have no doubt He has brought me to this time to go through this study with all these lovely ladies to learn and grow through sharing His word. Thank you so much!

  36. I am so excited to start reading thru the bible. I read the bible everyday, but have never read thru it and am really looking forward to doing with with other women of faith! Thank you Courtney and the other ladies who are making sure GMG stays alive and encouraging!!

  37. Clarification please. Do we sign up under good morning girls to be able to do the blogging through the Bible with you. I know I read through these last night but I may have been way too sleeping to understand. Thanks!-me

    1. Hi Holly,

There will be no sign-ups. You are welcome to join in here at the blog on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays – I’ll be here. If you want to get my blog posts in a daily email – subscribe on my sidebar. But that is not required. If you want to join a Good Morning Girls groups – go to the forum – we are helping women find groups there through September 11th. But a GMG group is not required either.

We are here to serve you and are so glad you are joining us on this journey!

      Lots of Love,
      Courtney

  38. I’ve been reading your blog for a few months, and I’m in. I’m so excited about this new journey and reading through the bible. I don’t prefer facebook so I think I’ll figure out the forum for an accountability group. I’ve never done any kind of online study, if anyone has any suggestions for me I’d appreciate them. I’m praying for you Courtney, the ministry, and all of these beautiful women.

    1. I created an online message board for my group. It is free. I used http://boardhost.com/ but I am sure there are others. But this is easy and free.

Alternatively, you could do an email group where your group emails there discussions. You could even text message depending on your group.

  39. I have a question about the link up on Fridays. Do the blog posts we link up have to be about the book Coutney is covering at that time or can it be on any book of the Bible we are reading at that time?
    Thanks!!

    1. I think it would be best that the link-up pertain to the passage of scripture we are reading at that time. But if you wrote a post long ago that is referring to the passage we are in – I invite you to link it up. We will be covering the entire Bible so all devotionals written with scripture can be linked up eventually – just at the appropriate time.

Good question – thank you for asking!
      Courtney 🙂

  40. This leaves me a bit puzzled..? I thought you stopped GMG, GMG changed to Love God Greatly, and now there is GMG & LGG? What exactly is going on here?

  41. I truly appreciate all you do Courtney and have been in prayer regarding the GMG ministry since your announcement. I believe you know how much your ministry has helped me over the years and many times it was balm to my soul. I praise the Lord for your obedience and faithfulness to Him.

I am still seeking the Lord as to His direction and guidance for a fall study. I mentioned GMG to the ladies of my summer bible study at church as a wonderful tool only to have the fallout happen days later. Please know that I have been truly blessed by you Courtney and the Lord working within you. I will continue to be in prayer over your ministry.

May the Lord bless you for your hard work for His kingdom,
    Misty

  42. Yay! Welcome home GMG! Excited to be going through the Bible with everyone. Courtney, Women Living Well has been such a blessing in my life. Thank you for all of the love and time you’ve put into ministering to women.

  43. Hi
Just a quick question if you are a GMG leader and don’t do facebook can you still connect with other leaders?

    Thanks

    1. I apologize that at this time our only leadership connection is through Facebook.

If you have any questions – feel free to email me personally.

      Lots of Love,
      Courtney

  44. Hi Courtney, You don’t know me, but I wanted to say as a mom and grandmom, “I’m so proud of you.” Onto other things… I wanted to go through the bible in a year and I think I’m in year 3. LOL I was trying to start a local group with some women who want to learn the bible but need to learn differently than others. They asked me for help, but don’t want to get together on a regular basis. So I decided if I have local women who want to do it, others online will want to do it. I just don’t think I’ll be able to do it every day and will be asking other women for help. Do you think it unwise if I people volunteer and I don’t know them very well?

    1. Hi Susie,

I think it’s great if other women will help you out. I think sometimes we have to trust others and then deal with issues as they arise.

      Thank you for your encouragement.
      Courtney

  45. This question is specifically for Courtney. What Bible do you use? I know I read in a post you will be using the ESV for reading thru the Bible. If it’s not too personal, which ESV Bible do you use? Is it a Study Bible? I’m thinking of getting a new one and just wondering. 🙂

    1. Hi Mary – I am a mutt when it comes to the versions of the Bible.

I grew up on KJV through high school, went to Moody Bible where the required version for classes was the NASB, went to my home church where we use the NIV the past 15 years but LOVE the ESV for my personal use.

My ESV study Bible is called “The Reformation Study Bible” put out by Ligonier Ministries (R.C.Sproul’s ministry). I received this Bible as a gift from Karen Ehman years ago and it is currently my favorite.

I also use my YouVersion App on my iPhone and I have it read out loud to me the ESV version 😉

      Hope that helps,
      Courtney

      1. Thank you 🙂 that does help! I will have to look for this one. Also I had no idea YouVersion had an App that reads the Bible to you! I will definitely have to look up the App and the “read to me” feature. 🙂

        Mary

        1. Yes – there’s a volume button on the app – when you hit it, it reads it out loud! I like to listen to it in the bathroom when I’m getting ready in the morning. I listened to the entire book of Proverbs while I was on a long road trip this spring! It’s awesome!

          Courtney 🙂

  46. Courtney,

I opened a facebook group and posted it in the homeschooling section of your forum but I think maybe I jumped the gun a bit… was I supposed to have taken the leadership work that was offered previously in order to be a leader? If so, could you point me in the right direction? Thanks, dear.

  47. Looking forward to another Fall with you Courtney! I asked to lead and I look forward to hearing from you soon! Good Bless 🙂

    In His Grace,
    Debra

  48. Organizing something like this takes a LOT of time and work. I am so glad to see so many praying for you and your team. I will join them in prayer for this ministry and for you. We are all just girls in need of grace. Can’t wait to find a group!! Thank you.

  49. I am very excited about this!! I came across your blog a few months ago and have been infinitely inspired by your beautiful words. I applaud you for taking on this task…and for letting others in on the journey! Thank you so much for all that you do!!

  50. Hi Courtney, thank you for this. My friends and I actually decided to be reading through the bible together and sharing what we learn with one another. We already have a facebook group but I’ll definitely be involved with this. This is like the first time I’ve been called to lead a group in such a thing as bible study (and we’re not even together, geographically) so, I’ll definitely be learning from the scriptures and your methods of leadership.

By the way, I really enjoyed reading the Proverbs 31 woman ebook.

P.S Most of my friends (including I) are single sisters, but we do have a few that are married so I’ll really appreciate any tips and insights on how to go about this. Thank you.

God bless you, all the other lovely ladies and more grace.

  51. My sister and I will be joining y’all on this journey! Courtney, be encouraged! God is using you as a vessel to change the lives of so many women! A couple of months ago, my sister asked if I wanted to do the P31 study with her. We both did it and had completely changed marriages!!! Then I purchased your book and couldn’t put it down. I’m now breaking it down chapter by chapter with my mentor here in Texas and it is helping me so much in my journey as a mom and wife!! God is using all of you ladies in such a profound way. We are so excited to partner with y’all through this study!! Xoxo

  52. I am so thankful that you have reclaimed GMG and will continue to take this ministry in a direction that is GOD Focused! You are such a blessing! I am praying for you, and for your continued success! I truly believe that the GMG ministry will be a blessing to many!! Courtney, thank you for you faithfulness!

  53. I am super excited for this! I just recently lost my mother-in-law and I feel like this whole thing has brought me closer to the lord. Im so happy that there is other women out here I can actually relate too. 🙂

  54. Courtney…God Bless You Lady!
You have helped me in many-many ways, and I am very excited that you have come “Home”. I look forward to Walking This Journey with everyone, in fact I am just down right excited!!! 🙂
Blessings to You and All involved …

  55. I am super excited to begin this journey with other women who love God and have a mindset to serve God. I struggle with being in God’s Word everyday. I am looking forward to blogging through the Bible and seeing what God has in store for me to learn.

  56. Excited to follow along. Thank you for all the great resources. I appreciate all your work on re-focusing GMG these past couple weeks. God is good and lives will be changed because of your faithfulness. Blessings to you Courtney, your family, and your team.

  57. I would like to find a small group to join. I am a working woman who is now an empty nester :(. I literally do not know who I am anymore. My world has crashed several times and I am just looking to heal peacefully… Xo

    1. I am so sorry you are facing this difficult season Antoinette. 🙁 I hope you are able to find a group that will be a comfort to you.

Please click over to our forum and page down to where GMG groups are forming. We still have another week of putting groups together and I pray you find the perfect fit there.

      Lots of Love,
      Courtney

  58. I have searched and have not yet discovered how to register the name of my little email group in Las Vegas. Are there specific instructions listed somewhere? So far the instructions involve joining a group that is already formed.

I closed my Face book account earlier this year based on the Lord’s leading so that will not be an option. Please help.

  59. I’m sorry I’m still a little confused lol! So do we just introduce ourselves on a forum thread, and thats it? Can anyone help the newbie here! haha!

  60. I’m thankful to find this ministry (via Candace Cameron Bure) just this morning! I’ve already emailed a few ladies to start a GMG group; and also sent an email out to all our church ladies (and beyond) about the Blogging through the Bible. I plan to do this myself; and hope others will tag along too.

    Looking forward to it!

  61. Three dear friends (we currently live in Arkansas, Nevada, and Texas) are going to read through the Bible with you! We all lived in Arkansas 16 years ago where we committed to live fully devoted lives in Christ and have remained good and forever friends. We have survived babies, toddlers, teenagers and adult children. We have survived geographical moves, sickness, the death of an adult child, and many changes in our lives. But we love our LORD and can’t wait to do this together! God brought us here, and I can’t wait to read through the Bible with my besties. Thank you for this ministry!

  62. Really excited for this. I need structure and I need friends! (Living in a new city, I don’t know anyone) and I just found out in time right before the forums close. Gods perfect timing. I found a group to join in the forums and I asked to join… Is that all I have to do? Will someone be emailing me?

  63. What am I supposed to do with quiet time. I have six children (all grown), 14 grandchildren and 10 great grand children, number 11 is due in November. I’ve not had much in the way of quiet time.

  64. I just came across your website as I was looking on Pinterest for ideas for my baby’s first birthday party and I am so excited that your website popped up! I feel like the Lord has been convicting me to get into His word more, and become the Godly wife and mother that He wants me to be. Please pray for me as I begin this journey (late).

God Bless you and Thank you for this wonderful website and tools!
    Kristen
