Advent Study Logo

This week the Good Morning Girls will complete Genesis! Hooray!  You all have done an amazing job following along!

Here is this week’s reading plan:

November Week 3

Next up, is the book of Psalms.  We will finish November in the book of Psalms and read Psalms all through December as well.

For those who just joined the “Reading Through the Bible Series”, we read Psalm chapters 1 & 2 back in September, so we will be starting in Psalm 3 on November 24th.  (You may want to read Psalm 1 & 2 next weekend before we begin –sorry that’s confusing!)

Here’s next week’s reading plan:

November Week 4

Here is December’s reading plan for those who like to look ahead.

Now back to Genesis!  Let’s finish strong.   I have learned so much these last few weeks and your feedback and interaction and emails and Facebook posts have been phenomenal!  I am so glad I have so many friends to take this journey with {{group hug}}. 🙂  I’ll see you back here on Wednesday and Friday to discuss the finale of Genesis.

  1. Thank for providing this! I am feeling much more at peace as I prepare for the season of Advent. My focus is on HIM and not he busy. This study will be great to share with my family.

  2. My daughter asked if we were going to do the Advent Study again this year. It has apparently become a new tradition to go along with the rest of our holiday customs. Thank you!

  3. Is there a link to download the December reading check list? I have looked and can’t find it. I love the checklists! Thank you so much!

  4. I just have to say Thank You so much for the link to the Advent Study I have been trying to figure out what I was going to do during the break & you have solved this problem fr me. I also really need this as Christmas in my home is no longer about decorations & putting up a tree things changed after some pretty big heartbreaking events in our lives & we decided to stop all of that & even stopped the gift giving except with a few special ones & with those I make special gifts. In are home Christmas does not have to be about all those things even though it is beautiful, it is more heartbreaking to us so we just make it about more about Jesus birthday. So you can see how you offering the Advent Study is such a special gift to me. Thank You from the bottom of my heart. God Bless you & your family this Christmas season.

  5. Thank you for re-posting this Advent study. I was going through my emails from last year trying to re-download because my computer was stolen and I wanted to use them again this year. Could you please re-post the advent one for kids? The links are broken now from old emails. Or do you know where we can get them, even like the prayer journal for boys and girls? I downloaded them all as I received the emails but didn’t print them. 🙁 and now they are lost.
Thank you!! I love all your encouragement and uplifting attitude, it’s a true blessing.

  6. Your study is such a blessing. I lead a Ladies Sunday School Class at First United Methodist Church in Louisiana. I shopped at the local Christian bookstore looking for something specifically for ladies but found nothing. Prayed about it came back home. Surfed the web and wa lah – God led me to your study. Can’t wait to get started. The ladies are very excited. We are small in number (only 7 so far) but “where 2 or more are gathered”. Christmas is my FAVORITE time of year. On the home front this is our first empty nest Christmas and your study will help us transition into a “grown up” Christmas time as well. Thank you again for listening and following the call.

  7. Hi Courtney,
Thank you so much for encouraging us ladies in our walk with the Lord. I am so thankful for you!

Thanks for posting the Advent Study, but do you still have access to the kids one as well? I was telling some friends about it and loved doing it last year with my boys. My laptop crashed so I don’t have it saved:(

Thank you, again, for all you do for Christ!

    Becky

  8. I subscribed to Women Living Well a few months ago, received emails for a few days and then never got another one. Is there a way to check and see if my subscription is still active or something I could do on my end to fix the problem? I will be doing the advent study as I will just be finishing up the Proverbs 31 study, but would love info about upcoming studies and book clubs.

  9. Thank you, Courtney!!! I’m not loving the new studies done so far in what is now LGG, and several of my girls wanted to do last year’s Advent, and so do I! I still have all the files from leading it last year, but my new girls don’t, so I’m extremely thankful to have a way for them to get them now! Praising God for that! I might just join you guys in Psalms as well. Happy Thanksgiving!

  10. Thank you for making the advent devotions available. Is there any way the kids devotions from last year could also be available. My family really enjoyed them! Thanks again!
