The Verses of the Day:

This printable includes all 5 “Verses of the Day” — for the entire week.  Print and cut them out and put them in the bathroom, kitchen, beside your bed and computer and use them for meditation (or memorization of your favorite) throughout the week.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. – Joshua 1:8

    1. Thank you Mary! I’m so grateful you are joining us again – your help in the Leaders group is a huge blessing!

      Keep walking with the King!

  1. Our time in Acts has flown by! Can’t believe it’s almost over! I hope everyone enjoys their break and I look forward to us all diving into the book of Numbers together.

So glad to be on this journey with you, Courtney!

    Many thanks,
    Laurie

    1. Thank you so much for all of your help this session and in the past sessions. I appreciate you! Can’t wait to see what God has for us next together!!!

      Lots of Love,
      Courtney

  2. More info about the break, please….. we’ll be done the 14th, jump back in what date and when will Numbers conclude? My group of girls always wants to be able to plan ahead!

    Thanks!

    1. Hi Becca,

We break on Wednesday, October 14th and then begin again 11 days later on October 26th.

Numbers is 7 weeks and 1 day long – so we will finish on Monday, December 14th and be on break until January 4th!

      Hope that helps!!
      Lots of Love,
      Courtney

  3. I have really enjoyed reading through and studying Acts. Thank you for your encouragement and leadership. You are a blessing to me! ?

  4. I’m really loving the book of Acts! I’m not ready for it to be over either. It’s interesting that your reflection question for today is about being willing to die for Christ because as I was reading Ch 21, I was thinking of the people in Oregon who were just killed for responding “yes” to the shooter when he asked if they were Christian and I was praying to God and asking Him to give me that same kind of courage if ever faced with the same situation. The world we live in has certainly changed, but He is the same!

  5. I’m new to this site but I’m already loving it. This is my first day and now I’m going to study Acts 21 . Thanks again.

  6. Thank you for this Ministry and all that you do. So excited about the study book for boys. I have 10 year old twin boys and have led them through a couple of short bible studies tailored to young boys. But they are always topical. I personally enjoy studying the word as it is like we do here at Good Morning Girls. I am looking forward to having them join me in my daily reading with their own Good Morning Boys Journal.

    1. Cara –

It is so wonderful that you are teaching your boys to read the Bible for themselves. There is not greater joy than to see your kids in the word!

So glad they are joining us,
      Courtney

  7. Thank you for making another journal for us to record our Numbers thoughts in. I’ve really enjoyed Acts. I haven’t had much time to write comments, but have kept up with the reading and the writing in my journal. Always learn something!

  8. So would this particular way of study be inductive study. I’m learning so much about reading the bible vs. studying the bible! So exciting!

    1. Tricia,

Yes – we use the Inductive approach to studying God’s Word! God’s Word is alive and so much fun to study together this way!

So glad you are joining us!
      Courtney

  9. I’m excited to see what the stuff for littler ones is! Our daughter (6) has been asking me to show her how to “do the colors” so I’ve been working out how best to simplify it for her. She’ll be excited to join in!

  10. Hi Courtney! I’m sure there is an easy answer to this but I’m just joining in & would like to start at Numbers with your journal. What books have you completed? And do they all have journals that go with?

  11. Hi Courtney,

So I am super excited!!! I shared the Acts bible study on my FB page and have a small group of moms following along. This week and I going to try out the SOAK method I also gathered up my coloring pencils (before I was using highlighters and like you said they bleed thru) and notebook. Because this is new I am going to use the group discussion question as “O” and see how it goes.

  12. I have participated in many Bible studies with my church but this format seems to have really touched my heart! I feel so connected to God through my readings! I have shared with several women who are new believers and looking for guidance to reading The Word but also several longtime believers. What a blessing this has been in my life! I find myself excited to join in the next study of Numbers which I never thought would be possible! Thank you!!

  13. Hi Courtney! I’ve been following you for 4-5 years (back when you starting posting photos of your kids first day of school pics), and I just popped back over today for a quick browse. I love your new GMG Bible Study Journals! Fantastic resource for busy moms!

Anyway, knowing how your GMG moms dive deep into the Word, I thought they might like this blog post that I wrote called “Why Bible Studies Are Essential to Classical Education.” I find that many moms get swept up in the busyness of homeschooling and forget that our relationship with the Lord and His Word should come first every day. Here’s a gentle reminder with some suggestions for helping the little ones develop this essential discipline.

    http://momscourse.com/bible-studies-classical-christian-education/

    Hope this encourages your moms!

    ((hugs!))
    Diane

P.S. Can’t wait to see what you’ve got planned for the kids coming soon! Please let me know so that I can promote it to my bright moms, too. 🙂

    1. Hi Carol,

Our team is still working on it so we are not quite ready to reveal the new year study yet. Once the the Book of Numbers study is up and running, I’ll be sure to share that information soon!

Can’t wait – 2016 is going to be GREAT!
      Courtney
