Welcome back to Week 5!

I’m so proud of you for hanging in there!  This is a fascinating book of the Bible and 5 weeks in the book of Numbers makes you a serious Bible student!  Do you know how many people avoid or are scared of this book!?!

2 Timothy 2:15 says:

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

This verse was engraved on the side of one of the buildings at the Moody Bible Institute, where I attended Bible School.  It always inspired me to work hard to learn and know the Bible.  This is how I see you all.  As workers, students, women of the Word of truth.

Keep. On. Going!

If you are new here – jump in with our reading this week and catch up on the weekends.  All are welcome to join anytime – there are no enrollments or sign-ups!

The Verses of the Day:

I encourage you to choose which verse you’d like to memorize or meditate on.  The printable below includes all 5 verses of the day — for the entire week!

Print and cut them out and put them in the bathroom, kitchen, beside your bed and computer and use them for meditation throughout the week.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. – Joshua 1:8

  1. Hi Courtney, when is the next regrouping session? I’d love to be part of a group because I simply can’t keep up right now with 3 little kids under 4, I need accountability! Thank you!

    1. Hi Mrs. May,

I’m so glad you are here!

We will regroup in the new year for the start of a new session. I’ll be posting all the information and exact dates to join a group here on December 14th – so please watch for that blog post and join us then!

      Lots of Love,
      Courtney

  2. Week 5, WOW! Thank you for leading us on the journey through this difficult, but “fascinating” book. It has been a time of learning and growing in the Lord. Giving thanks for being able to share in it together. HAPPY THANKSGIVING to You and Yours!

  3. Having a structured, encouraging Bible study like this keeps me focused on reading this book (confusing, “heavy” at times,…) + we’re studying the book of Judges at church. Whew!

    Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

    1. Jackie,

I’m so glad the structure is working for you!!! It’s so great to have a community to do this. We were not meant to walk alone.

      Happy Thanksgiving to you too,
      Courtney

  4. I have been studying with you since you started the reading through the bible series and am so happy at the progress and the support I have found through this blog. Keep up the great work Courtney.

    1. Nanette –

Wow! Way to go sticking with us. That’s so great. Thank you for doing this with me. Your comment blessed me because I have no way of knowing who has been here from the start. Keep on going!!

      Lots of Love,
      Courtney

  5. Thanks Courtney for encouraging us through this book. I am seeing Numbers in a whole new light. Thank you so much for what you do. You are inspiring, encouraging and helping so many on their walk with God and Jesus. You are a blessing to many.

  6. Hi Courtney! I thank God for your leadership in leading us women through deeper study of God’s Word. I’ve tried several times to read the Bible in a year on my own, but have given up every time. But this online ministry helps me to stay focused and yearn for more. Even though sometimes I fall behind, I muster up the energy to get back on track. Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

  7. Hi Courtney,

First, can’t say enough how glad I am to have discovered GMG. Loving the daily reading and studying of Numbers. We’re almost done. I was curious what is the next study going to be and will you be doing a journal on Amazon for that study?

    1. Hi Nascent!

I am announcing the next two studies this Monday on the blog and the next Journal will be available around the middle of December!

      Thanks for asking!!!
      Courtney 🙂
