You DO NOT have to have a group, to join our on-line Bible study.  I can be your accountability partner every Monday and Friday here on the blog if you’d rather not be in a group.

There are no sign-ups, enrollments or subscriptions required to join us.  No hoops!

  1. Hi Courtney!! Your ministry and blog has been blessing me for almost 5 years and I have been reading through the Bible with GMG since the beginning. Before that I did all the studies since Proverbs. I’m hooked 🙂

So, what I wanted to share with you is that I am sharing about your Book on my blog on Tuesday at 9pm.

    1. Hi Judith!

I remember watching you on periscope one time last summer. So good to see you still here and going strong! Thank you so much for mentioning this study on your blog Tuesday – I appreciate it!

      Lots of Love,
      Courtney

      1. I love your book!! I started it because I will be away next week. My neighbor is doing the study and so are two women from church. I don’t think we will do it together necessarily because I live 30 minutes from church – but it is so exciting!!

  2. Hey Courtney. I’ve been following GMG for about 6 months now. I was in a Facebook group, but the group fell apart. I’m in search for a new group. Was wondering if there is a group for young mom’s of toddlers or Texas group?

    1. Hi Brittany,

I’m so sorry your group fell apart. At this time, the only open groups are the ones inside the document linked to above. Perhaps someone will see your request here and start one – so check back or if you’d like to start one – we’d love to have you as a leader.

      Lots of Love,
      Courtney

    2. Im from texas and putting together a fb page for the study and also getting some local moms together weekly to let the kiddos play and for us to talk about the study. Which part of Texas are ya from? Im from fort worth.
When I get the page together; I would love to have ya join. 🙂

    1. Hi Amanda,

You will find a place to do that inside of the Facebook Group for leaders.

I think I saw you over there this morning so you may have already figured this out. Lol! Sorry for my delay!

      Thank you for leading!!! 🙂
      Courtney

  3. Hi Courtney, I am a first timer to Good Morning Girls and am looking forward to studying Ecclesiastes with all of you. I bought my workbook but am wondering if it is necessary to do the highlighting in my bible? I have never written in my bible before, and am thinking I may want to get one just for this. Thank you, Sabrina

    1. I don’t do the highlighting. I think that is just a tool that some like to use to help them focus and concentrate on certain elements. I just underline or regularly highlight key points (not color coded) and many people do not write in their Bibles at all 🙂 Also, some get a separate cheaper Bible to do the highlighting in.

That is not required at all. It is just a tool Courtney mentioned because some people like to do so. I don’t do the color coded and many don’t so no pressure or worries.

  4. All of the groups (once directed to facebook) say “This content is currently unavailable.” Are they all closed already or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

      1. I tried all of them. I was directed to Facebook, logged in, then got the error. I’m on a Mac. Does that make a difference? I wouldn’t think so.

        1. Oh man – I don’t know why that is happening for you. I’m on a mac too. When a group closes it is moved to secret and you would get that message – and groups have begun to be fill up and close -so perhaps you clicked on one that was full. But we have new ones opening everyday – so please keep trying.

          So sorry about this. 🙁
          Courtney

  5. Hi Courtney,

How did you get the gray for a highlighter for Ecclesiastes? I have a Bible Higlider kit but it doesn’t have a gray in it?

  6. Hello Courtney!

I was wondering if it would be alright if when we start digging into Ecclesiastes if I used the Facebook Live Feature to lead a discussion about the days study questions and such? Would this be something that you would be okay with? I had the idea recently but I wanted to check before I just went ahead and did it.

  7. Hi! I’m looking forward to doing the new Bible study, but the few available right now on Amazon are $24+…from 3rd party sellers…as opposed to the one that was in my cart earlier today for about $10. Do you know if/when they are going to be restocked? Thanks!

    1. Ugh! I just got off of the phone with Amazon – they said they will have it available within 24 hours!!! I’m SO sorry. 🙁 Please hold on for a day – it should be available again soon.

      My apologies,
      Courtney

  8. I can’t seem to buy the workbook on amazon right now. Any reason why suggestions to finding it?
    Kelly

    1. Hi Kelly – I have been on the phone with Amazon twice now trying to fix this – they said it will be available again in 24 hours – so please check back again tomorrow at this time and it should be available.

      My apologies 🙁
      Courtney

  9. Hi Courtney.
I just wanna say thank you for all you do. You were one of the first people I watched on YouTube about homeschooling and it really helped us in our journey. I also read your book and LOVED it. I just received my ecclesiastes workbook and I asked some mommas in my homeschool group if they would like to join me and they do (yaay). Can I start a fb for the bible study group? I also am getting some of the local moms together too for the study.

  10. Hi Courtney,
I believe I joined a Facebook group on Monday, June 6th called ‘Good Morning God’ and now I cannot find them on Facebook. Will I be able to see them on Monday the 13th? I think they must have closed the group, they aren’t listed as open anymore. I also have not seen anything on there saying I have joined their group. Any ideas?

      1. No, I had already gone to that page-it was the name of a Facebook group listed with the other open groups. It was not the GMG page. I am wondering if my joining the group may still be pending? How can I find out?- Betty

        1. Hi Betty,

Here is the link to the page of open facebook groups: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kQObOinorqgx9XyOStGeFx8vC_usKLV2r_SMXjokhrA/edit If for some reason your request to join a group did not work (perhaps facebook made an error) I encourage you to try joining a different group. We still have open groups and Regina below – left a comment saying there is room in her group too – so you could contact her below by leaving a comment there as well.

          Hope this helps!
          Courtney

          1. Thank you both-I believe you are right Courtney, for whatever reason (very possibly me) there was an error. No worries though, I have joined another group and I’m ready for Monday! God bless you, Betty

  11. Good morning Courtney! I am new to WLW and GMG. I am beyond excited that I found these sites. I am ready to learn and continue to grow in my faith with this study. I wanted to write on the 1st page of my journal a bible verse that will motivate me and keep me going every morning no matter how long or hard my day will be. I have been looking for this verse on all your sites, links, etc regarding the Ecclesiastes study (where I thought I 1st seen it) for 2-3 days and I can’t find it. Can you direct me to it? The verse said something about impressing the word of God in our hearts. Thank you in advance. May God continue to bless you, guide you, equip you in your ministry.

    1. Hi Leonor – I feel badly because I am not sure which verse you are referring to?

      Could it be:

2 Timothy 2:15: Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

      Love,
      Courtney

  12. This is my first time on GMG i found this on pinterest i bought the workbook im so excited to start this new chapter in my life its been hard for me to study the bible i didnt know where to start from. I have 6 kids and have a full time job so its been complicated to have my own study time. Thank you for the time and effort you take on teaching others.

  13. Hi Courtney,

I ordered the Ecclesiastes study book and am excited about the study. I am new to GMG and WLW. I have shared about discovering your website with some friends and 2 of them are going to join me on this study. For the three of us our children are grown I know that you and your GMG team are young mom’s.
I am ashamed to admit that the last time I spent a dedicated time reading and studying my Bible was when my son, was going through cancer treatment. He was diagnosed with a rare muscle cancer without a cure. His diagnoses began my serious devotion to reading God’s work, praying, and studying. HE got me through each and every time I was told, “He is not going to make through today”. When I received that news the first time (I was working the midnight shift) I walked into my son’s dark hospital room, cried and prayed and finally said, “Ok God, I accept whatever Your will is for my son, because I know You will be with me, no matter what happens”. After that prayer, I put the side down on my son’s bed and climbed in bed, put the side back up, wrapped my arms around my 19 year old son and whispered, if today’s the day it will be in my arms. The doctor’s were surprised Chris made it through 5 types of chemo and radiation. They then said he would be gone by age 25. If he survives 25 he will never see his 30th birthday. Chris is still here with us because God is not done with him, he will be 33 years old this month and at his his last check-up, he is still cancer free. See how good our God is.
Now God has brought me to the GMG’s to get back into God’s word and be disciplined about it. Thank you Courtney.

    1. Welcome Maritza,

Wow – what a hard journey you have walked. Thank you for sharing this and I’m so glad you are here.

      Lots of Love,
      Courtney

  14. I’ve tried to join the two single Facebook groups but I’ve had no response to my requests. Are these groups still active?

      1. I’ve sent a request to join that group days ago too but my request to join hasn’t been accepted/approved yet. That’s why I wondered if they were still active groups.

  15. I`m glad I finally got my workbook the other day-anxious to start and to do James-my most read book in the Bible.

  16. This is my first GMG Bible Study and I am beyond impressed! I bought the workbook and I love how it is set up. It makes learning so easy! I will definitely be doing more Bible Studies with you. This is exactly what I needed! Many thanks to Courtney and her team for all you do to bring these tools to us! You are a blessing in the lives of many!!

  17. I’m so new to your site!’ Where can I find the resources that you said are available on Monday? I’m having a hard time finding my way around!! Loving this study on Ecclesiastes so far and excited to start “coloring” the Word of God!!! Looking forward to doing some more of your studies in the future!
