Psalm 103:10-12 answers these very questions: “He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our […]

What Will Our Bodies Be Like In Heaven?

Granola and Daffodils 027

As we begin to think about Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday – I am drawn to I Corinthians 15. It is a fascinating chapter not only about Jesus’ resurrection but also about the believer’s resurrection! What will our bodies be like in heaven? Just think about the most beautiful woman you have ever seen on earth – she is under the curse of sin! If we saw Adam and Eve most likely it would take our breath away – they were created perfect. And if they saw us – they might be in shock! The Bible does not give us a lot […]

This sweet family photo from last Easter is deceiving.  It appears that we have it all together – let me beg to differ lol! At first glance, you see we are all matching…this is our family “thing” – we always color coordinate for the holidays.  This year’s theme is navy blue, tan and white. I felt very prepared. I laid out everyone’s clothes, packed our bags for the […]

My Favorite Easter Breakfast – Resurrection Rolls

These are so fun because when the rolls are done baking – they are empty inside… JUST like Jesus’ tomb! You need just 5 ingredients: crescent rolls, marshmallows, sugar, cinnamon and butter   Give each child one triangle shaped section of crescent roll. This represents the tomb.     Each child takes one marshmallow. This represents the body of Christ.   Dip the marshmallow in the butter […]
