The Blizzard Blog Hop

Blizzard Bloghop 2010 hosted by Household 6 Diva

There’s this HUGE blogging conference happening this weekend called Blissdom. So for all the ladies who couldn’t go we are having a Blizzard Blog Hop. So I’m supposed to introduce myself to the other ladies here and write a post about myself – so here it is!

My name is Courtney and I have been married to my high school sweet heart for 13 years, I homeschool my two sweet peas and I’m a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute. I love Youtubing as you can see on the side bar – and I even ended up on the Rachael Ray Show due to one of those youtubes! Go figure!

I blog from my kitchen and here’s what my little desk lookes like:

And I have my quiet times at the kitchen table here:I LOVE this spot in the kitchen because check out the morning sunrise out this window!

We have no pets – oh well actually we had an ant farm once -I wrote about that here (A lesson in laziness) !

And here is a messy picture of our homeschool room! And my two beautiful students!

So that’s a window into my life. I hope you will choose to join me here as I walk with the King! Every week I write on marriage, parenting, homemaking and my walk with God! Come join me in this journey by following me on Facebook, Twitter, Feedburner or Google(along left sidebar).

Walk with the King!

  1. I am so glad you're doing the Blizzard Blog hop!!!! So exciting. I love your blog Miss Courtney. Thank you for all the inspirations to always work on my love for God, my husband, and my role as a woman! – Shauna @ Planting Shade

  2. I've been reading your blog for a long time now. I absolutely adore you! Thank you for the inspiration you give to everyone. Your love for the Lord and your family shines through everything that you do!

  3. Beautiful view, Courtney! I love that I can see the first hues of my day (a.k.a. the sunrise) coming up over the airport tower waaaaay off in the distance (in fact, I can only see it from our sliding back door if I look to the far east). That tower is on the grounds of the airport where my husband works, so it serves as my personal prompt to pray for him each day. I love it.
    Blessings,
    Toni
    p.s. Love the school room.

  4. Okay seriously…your like a rockstar in my book! How awesome is that! I love it when bloggers show where they blog from at their computer. It makes it more "real".

I found you through the blog hop today!

P.S….that is aweosme that you homeschool! You need a mommy of the year award for that!

  5. Oh Courtney! The view from your window makes me miss home (Cincinnati) so much, can't wait to go back.

Stopping by from H6D's Bloghop, but I'm a frequent reader. I love, love, love how 'true to you' your blog is, love it!

    Have a great day!
    Love!

  6. Hey Courtney 🙂 🙂 Oh, this is so cool 🙂 🙂 I 'd love to be able to be a stay at home mom someday…but I just love the idea of being able to work from home in general, including blogging 🙂 🙂 Wonderful. I'll have to check out more of the YouTube videos!!! Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather 🙂

  7. Courtney,
You are just so sweet. I have been reading here for about 8 months, and I'm so glad I found you. You are so humble and real, but so respectable, too! It's no secret that you are a "sanguine", lol-you have such a sunny disposition! 🙂 Thanks for being my bloggy "friend." Your ministry is making a difference! 🙂
    Love,
SaraA (from Chicago, do you remember?)
