Pizza Panini

Janelle from Comfy In The Kitchen is back with an easy Pizza Panini! She writes,

I enjoy making this delicious sandwich on busy evenings. It is quick, easy, and pleases the entire family. Add a soup or salad and you have a great meal!”

1 loaf focaccia bread (you can find these at your grocer’s bakery, but I purchased this Asiago bread at Panera-I asked them to slice it in half for me), provolone cheese, pepperoni, diced fire roasted tomatoes.
Open bread and add the cheese and pepperoni
On other half add roasted tomatoes
Place on heated Panini press (if you do not have a press you can make this like you would a grilled cheese on the stove)
Press and cook until top is lightly browned and cheese is melted
Slice like you would a pizza and serve! (I made tomato basil soup with oyster crackers alongside)
Easy Pizza Panini’s
1 loaf focaccia bread
1 cup pepperoni
10 slices of provolone
1/2 cup fire roasted diced tomatoes
Press and serve. Simple and tasty!

Thank you Janelle!!!!

  • This is a great idea! I've never thought to make anything bigger than an individual sandwich on my panini press!

  • What a lovely quick, satisfying and delicious dinner sandwich! I have never made anything other than individual paninis before either, but I'll definitely give this a try.

  • I have to comment on a recipe I got from your blog a few months ago. The low fat grape salad has been a hit everywhere I take it. I don't know how many times I've shared it. Everyone just loves it.
