2 Book Giveaway of ~ Let.It.Go ~ by Karen Ehman

This is my friend Karen Ehman.  I haven’t shared a lot about our budding friendship on my blog – but this year – this woman has been my lifesaver.  As I’ve dipped my toe for the first time into the publishing industry, this veteran author has been with me every step of the way.  She has mentored me, pointed out my writing flaws – like too many – dashes – and my bad habit of getting so excited!!!! And using too many exclamation points!!!! Those are fine for blogging – but not good for book writing. lol!!! (can’t use lol in a book either 🙁 …oh and can’t make those smiley faces! This book writing thing is really cramping my style! lol!)

We have spent countless hours on the phone talking – we always start out talking about “business” and somehow end up on tangents talking about homeschooling, theology, and our issues with the scale!

The original way I discovered Karen was through her blog.  Karen is my favorite “life management” author.  This chick has got her stuff together! You might remember my video from earlier in the month where I shared “My Christmas Planner“…the planner was the brain child of Karen (and her co-author LeAnn).  She has literally helped this mama, whose to-do list is way too long, manage Christmas without spazzing out! lol!

Karen is the wife to her college sweetheart and mother of three.  She’s the Director of Speakers for Proverbs 31 Ministries’ national speaking team.  A five-time author, her books include A Life That Says Welcome, The Complete Guide to Getting and Staying Organized (if you don’t have this book and feel unorganized – you need it!), Untangling Christmas and more.  She has been a guest on The 700 Club, Moody Midday Connection and Focus on the Family.  She is also a contributor to Focus on the Family’s Thriving Family Magazine and you can find her blogging daily over at www.KarenEhman.com

So let me unveil her Brand New Book published by Zondervan that also has a DVD series and Study Guide available if you want to do this with a group of friends (I so recommend this!!!)

Let.It.Go. ~ How to Stop Running the Show and Start Walking in Faith

Women are wired to control. We make sure the house is clean, the meals are prepared, the beds are made, the children are dressed, and everyone gets to where they’re going on time. But sometimes our strength of being conscientious can morph into the weakness of being a slight—or all out—control freak! This humorous, yet spiritually practical book will help you learn how to control what you should, trust God with what you can’t, and more importantly, decide which one is which! Join Karen Ehman, a recovering control freak, as she enables you to:

  • Draw the line between mothering and micromanaging
  • Influence your husband instead of manipulating him
  • Take control of your schedule yet welcome interruptions from God
  • Learn to control your emotions when you can’t control the circumstances
  • Stop pursuing the appearance of perfection and start pursuing the person of God

I was given a copy of the book but I purchased my own DVD and study guide on Amazon today!  A birdie told me that my husband and I are mentioned in one of the videos – so this I gotta hear – right?

Karen is giving away two copies of Let.It.Go. to two Women Living Well Readers this week!

To enter to win 1 of 2 copies – simply leave a comment on this post.

For Bonus Entries: Retweet, Facebook Share or Pin this post and then leave an extra comment for each thing you did.

This giveaway ends Saturday, November 17th at 9pm.

  3. Sounds like a really good and convicting read! And, yes, I know there are things in my life that I need to let go of!

  5. I think this would be a great resource to read and encourage other woman to get this book and read it together, like a book club or bible study. I would love to win it!

  6. Planning to start a small Bible Study at the beginning of the year. I think we will do this book! Thanks for sharing!

  7. Long story short, a family member sexually assaulted my daughter and I need help in letting go and giving it to God! Thank you for sharing this opportunity with us, who ever wins will put it to good use I’m sure! God bless!!

  8. Going through Divorce & single parenting , there are so many things mentally that I need to learn to Let Go , and Let God .

  9. I am a control freak by flesh-nature, always have been. I am “newly” married (was 2yrs in August) and we just had our first child 9mths ago, so there have definitely been some new challenges to my “manage-it-all” approach to life. I really need to learn how to give it all to God and some guidance would be greatly appreciated! I’m glad and grateful God speaks to women like you, so you can share with women like me.

  10. Thanks for the giveaway. Have been reading both posts. Really enjoy them both!!!!
Wishing everyone a stress free Christmas!

  11. I’m a new bride of 11 months with our 8 week honeymoon baby girl. I hope to “learn now” instead of “unlearn later.” 🙂 I constantly remind myself that God is in control and I need to let go! This book would be a blessing. Thank you!

  12. This book would be such a blessing to me right now !!!!! Being the wife of a Pastor I think this book would give me great insight in many areas !!!!!

  13. If I didn’t know better I would think you wrote this book for me! I guess in a way you did 🙂 Being the mom of a beautiful 3 year old daughter with special needs, I am faced with challenges everyday. Most of them are fighting to get her equipment, therapy and other necessities. Around every corner is someone telling us that these things are not “medically necessary”, eventhough they have never laid eyes on her and have no idea of her limitations. This is where I step in and fight with myself about how much I can control and how much I need to leave to God and his time. I have become a pro at giving it all to God, only to take it all back again.

Even if I don’t win one of books, I would/need to get my hands on one. Thank you for all you do!!

    Barb

    1. This book would be a big blessing to me. I often struggle with trying to control everything instead of giving it all to God! Blessings!

  19. No matter what age we are as women, this book sounds like it could be a good reminder of who we are as women in Christ. Would love to read it.

  20. Just what this unorganized, recovering type A momma needs, especially with the holidays approaching. I would love a copy and then be able to donate it to the library where I am called to work.

I can’t wait to just “Let It Go” Thank you for all your wisdom, inspiration and motivation. And helping me realize that I’m not the only woman out there that can’t do everything all the time. Thanks for all you do!!

  28. I just participated in Karen’s 5 day email challenge/intro to her book, WOW!!! So convicted but encouraged as well. Thanks for the give away.

  29. I’ve actually never heard of this book before, but I think the concept sounds like it would be good for so many women. I think because we notice the details, we tend to want to control them. What God calls us to is something better. <3

  30. This past year has been full of disappointments and hurts for my family, and I have been trying to do exactly what the title of this book says: Let it Go. It’s not the easiest thing in the world to do which means that I could definitely use some perspective from this book. Thanks for sharing!

  31. Looks like it would be a great book for all women from single all the way to grandma’s. Thanks for writing about this subject

    Lucy

  33. Thank you Karen!! I have just recently stopped working to be a work at home mom again. I am finding that it is exactly where I want to be. I frequently find myself overwhelmed trying to get my kids (2 teenagers) where they and myself need to be. I currently have 3 different businesses of my own and my husband commutes an hour one way everyday. I need help of letting things go and being okay with it!!

  34. I so could use this! There is so much I need to let go of and give up to the Lord. Only knowing the Lord for 2 years now I struggle daily with “This is my job I can fix this!!”

  35. Ohhh I would LOVE to share this bible study with some of the woman at church! I’m guessing you won’t want to post it to me in Australia though. (I think I may need to buy that book about getting and staying organised though. Lol) thank you both for sharing your thoughts, feeling and faith with us all 🙂

  36. Karen sounds like that Titus 2 modeler and wisdom possessor we all need in our lives.
I’d love to hear this dvd….this wife of 1 and mom of 7 can use some advice.

  37. Courtney, I just discovered you yesterday. You are a true women of God. Thank you for being such an encouragement. I am excited to see The Lord use you in my life and others. Thank you…

  38. Would love towin this book! If I didn’t know better, I’d think she was writing about me! (I like exclamation points, too!!!!)

  39. Would love to win one of these books! This is a subject I can definitely be blessed by as this is one of the areas God is diligently working with me on!
I have shared this post on facebook, twitter and pinterest as well!
May God bless you for offering THIS as a blessing to us!

  40. Karen is one of my favorite authors! I do agree that we all are dealing with control issues; I am trying to learn how to let go of past failures in order to move onto what God has in store for me. thanks for the chance to win this book. I know it will be helpful to all who read it!

  41. I signed up for Karen’s 5 day challenge to Let. It. Go. for Christmas. Day one pushed me right outside of my comfort zone in such an awesome way!

  42. So I finally got my Christmas planner together and am using it – upside down and backwards, but still functional. I bought zippered pouches at the dollar store, so only two of the three holes actually fit in a standard 3 ring binder… but they still work ;). I have recommended Untangling Christmas to at least 2 clerks at stores and several friends, too. That said, I think I need a copy of this book, too!

  43. I hope I win one of the books, it sounds like information I really, really need to know. If I don’t win, I will definitely have to buy a copy. Blessings to you. Alba

  44. I struggle with feeling disorganized and have difficulty staying organized once I’ve made progress. I also struggle with the sin of perfectionism and I have been praying for God to help me learn to let some things go and be more dependent on Him and less on myself. I believe this book could really be a benefit to me and my family.

  45. This book sounds wonderful. I do love Christmas, but honestly the last few years it has really been a big stressor! And I am a pretty organized person!

  46. This book.couldnt come at a better time for me!! I already preprdered it but i have several friends i could gift it to for sure! Cant wait!

  47. Wow! This book is an answer to my prayers. I have praying for God to show me how to stop trying to control my life and have the strength to wait on him. The circumstances in my life have been such that it has created a control freak. I think out of the desire to protect my children from the events. Doing this I lost my ability to rely on God. I can not wait to read this book.

  48. Not sure how to let go, in a blended family with many broken promises and 2 step children that have absolutely defied my desire and efforts to love, guide, discipline and nurture, our home is chaos. Do I let go of my Biblical principles in trying to raise God fearing children (my two are still eagar to follow) or do I let go of trying to be their mom.
One hurting mom who needs this, something anything.
    Blessings,
    Kareng

  49. Definitely need help in learning to Let. It. Go. !!
(and I like dashes, exclamation points, smilies, and abbreviations too!!) 😀

  50. My son moves pictures on our walls sometimes to remind me everything can’t be perfect all the time, lol. Thank you so much for this giveaway.

  51. How to welcome those interruptions by God? You mean WITHOUT trying to finish what I’m doing or get just one…more…thing…done? Of course, when I try to finish what I was doing (which is often), I forget that God captured my thoughts for a moment, and the moment is lost. I’m really interested in reading about how to welcome God in my busyness.

  52. Ok, so I’m like the 245th person to comment, so there is like a one in a million chance I am going to win, but it is worth giving it a try! I need to go and buy the organization book! Thanks for doing this!

  53. Wow! Looks like an excellent book. I know there are many thing in my life where I could learn to just let it go!

  54. I love the ‘Women Living Well’ series!! I would love to have this book! I’m a mother of 3 children under 8 years old (set of twin boys)! Whew!!

  55. May God choose the person He feels needs to hear/read this book. Thank you ladies for being obedient and following what God has planned for you.

  56. I will put this book on my Christmas list if I don’t win! Also I like the idea of the getting organized book…thanks for highlighting this important author!!

  57. I would love to use this as a community bible study. There are so many moms that feel overwhelmed. I hope I can get a copy!

  58. What a powerful message for me…everything in the description of this book rang true. Actually, my best friend and I are constantly being accused of micromanaging our families, and we are comparing notes on how to step back a bit for everyone’s peace of mind. I’d LOVE to learn more about how to let God manage control of my schedule, my image, etc. so I can take a break for a bit…

  59. Obviously from all the comments, Karen has once again hit on a very much needed topic! I too feel like this book’s message is exactly what I need 🙂 Thanks for the giveawaye!

  60. Thank you so much for showing us the book, after reading a sample I got myself a copy right away!

That image of being sick and not able to do even the littlest thing around the house so reminded me about my own period of illness and recovery…and showed me how I still pray for God to make me all well so I can mop my own floors.

Thank you. Will be reading and letting go (like my husband has repeatedly asked me to do, becau seh does not care about who mops the floor as long as it gets done – strange fellow LOL)

  61. reading all of the previous comments just proves that this book needed to be written! (along with reading the best book, the Bible, of course:))

would love to win one of the books – so glad that it is finished and ready to go!

  64. I would love to win a copy of this book, but no matter what this book is on my must read next list. Thanks for this opportunity.

  65. In this season of my life, I am feeling The Lord leading me to let go of more…more stuff, more activities, and more control. This book sounds like it will meet me where I am at. I want to lead a life that nurtures my sweet husband and children and encourages other mamas, as well as young women, toreally relish their lives and who Christ intended them to be.

  66. Would love to win this book. It is my intent to stop the cycle of control that has been a pattern for generations in the women in my family. I have two daughters and want so much more for them.

  67. I would love to have this book! Last night I was praying and asked God to help me “Let Go” of things I can’t control and the harmful emotions I feel toward circumstances that are in my everyday life!! This sounds just right for me.
    Thank you Karen and Courtney

    Michelle

  68. I’m SOOO glad you posted this. I saw your previous post about Karen Ehman and I’ve started my own Christmas Binder this year. I’d love to see what’s in her “letting go” book too. Thanks for all the great resources. It’s wonderful to see the network of moms/wives out there who are trying everyday to live out our lives as Christians. Thank you!

  69. Wow I think as women we all struggle in this area… The world’s view is that we need to be in charge. It is hard to let go sometimes.
Would love to get a copy 🙂

  70. I agree with Sandy. “Who doesn’t need this book??” I know I could certianly learn to let go and trust God more.

  71. I facebooked this give-away and pinned it. I sure do hope I win, because I’m pretty sure she has been following me around and wrote this book for me.

  75. I was just lamenting my need to do just what you said this book would help me do: takecontrol of my schedule yet welcome interruptions from God. I am looking forward to this one!

  76. I am a late in life 1st time Mom to a 4 yr old Lil boy. After yrs of trying “mans” way to conceive We let go and let God. With that said I have always been a control freak. When my son came along, oh boy did I get worse. I have to continuously pray for Gods help to NOT try to control everything and allow my Sweet husband to lead. Some days I don’t succeed but Praise God He’s forgiving and so is my husband. 🙂

  77. I am so thankful to have found you and your site. I find your information so important and useful! As the director of children’s ministry at my local church, sometimes I forget to take time for my faith and you have helped with that. Thank you! I am excited to read this book and I think it will move mountains in my life!

  78. This book sounds like.a must read for me. I am the queen of micromanaging and I am a perfectionist. I see dirt in my house where no one else sees it and I cannot rest till all is organized and done. I have been trying to let some things go so that I can spend more time with family and friends and with my God! I look forward to reading your insights!

  79. Actually I bought the “untangling christmas” book because of your post on it! Working my way through it right now! Micromanaging is a big problem for me…..think I need to read this one! Sign me up! Lisa Evola

  80. This looks like an amazing book! Cant wait to get my hands on it! My Sister In Laws, Mother In Law and some friends do a Wed. morning Bible study, and this would be perfect!

  81. I just saw this on the Proverbs 31 website and saw the DVD sample, this book is totally me. A control freak from way back!

  82. This sounds like the book I really need to read right now. I just recently discovered your blog and I’m trying to discover my spiritual self and God’s role in every day moments.

  83. I have learned to “Let go and let God.” Although I am still guilty of trying to control somethings. I am not OCD by any stretch, I just want to know what’s next and what I need to do to get it done and lined up! Not trying to do the Lord’s job for Him, I just want to make it easier…BUT our job is to just breathe and know that Jesus has got this and He is directing our steps.

  84. As a young wife and mom, this is something I struggle with daily! Trying to let it go, and Let GOD be who He is.

  85. I’m so excited about this book and the giveaway!!! I enjoy reading Karen’s blog, she has a real down-to-earth writing style that I can connect with. P.S. I love – – – too and of course !!!! 🙂

  86. I have so much to Let Go; sometimes it feels like I’m gonna fall down and get stuck there from the weight of it all! Would be Great to read these! Thank You for the chance!

  87. I would love to read this. I had a bit of a “breakdown” yesterday in front of my children. I am a wife of a busy husband, mother of 2, childcare director and involved church leader. The feeling I had yesterday left me at the feet of Jesus – just where I needed to be. Any resource that God brings my way will be used. Love and Peace – Melanie

  88. Wow! I think those bullet points describing the topics could ALL be applied directly to my life. What’s encouraging already is that if someone writes a book about it, there are many sharing my struggles! Whether I win or not, will be grabbing myself a copy:) Thank you always for your encouragement! Love that women can do life together even on the Internet…what blessing:)

  89. As a mom of 5, ages 12-24, this sounds like a must-read for me! I think I will order copies for my 2 married daughters and my close friends for Christmas! Sounds like a wonderful book that we all need to read!

  90. Let. It. Go. I believe this is a book I could really use. I usually have to control everything which sometimes creates disastrous results in my family. Even if I don’t win I NEED this book!

  91. People have to know that from a Broken Heart there is a way” OUT” and it is called Letting Go, But only threw forgiveness Of The Lord can this come . I have a daughter in law and daughter I would Love to share these books with …………. How they could grow from this Book . May God Bless whom ever wind Love Sharon

  92. Looks like another great resource. Thanks for all that you do to help us help our families. Gladly shared on facebook!

  93. My friend and I are single mothers and have struggled everyday with keeping our faith and knowing all will be OK. We lean in each other to get through…..but it would be nice to have a friend in faith and to flourish in that.

  94. I need help with these very issues. I’m not a control freak yet but getting there. Guilty of feeling like “I have to do it all” and on my way to raising another just like me.

  95. I have got to get this book! Sounds like something I have been searching for many many years! Thank you for sharing.

  96. This hit very close to my heart. I have been struggling to “Let Go” of a large sin in my past. I had a huge break through Sunday where God told me it was time to let it go, my past is dead & forgiven! Thank you for always being here Courtney with just the right words of encouragement! 🙂
PS I am thoroughly enjoying the make your home a haven challenge. I have all my bible study ladies on board too!

  97. I am so excited to read this book! It is just what I need. I struggle to find the balance of when to teach, when to let it go with my children. I have read Karen’s other books and know that she is an amazing author.

  98. Just posted on facebook also as my girlfriends and I were talking about doing a book study together. What better timing? 🙂

  99. Don’t have a problem with letting stuff go, my problem is that I’m really good at picking the stuff back up again. Okay maybe it isn’t letting go so much as dropping all the balls I have in the air at once. Looking forward to seeing how I can put stuff down and leave it down.

  100. I think this book will really help me. I’m a young mother of two(a 3 year old and one due on nov 19th) and a wife of a firefighter. I try to do it all. I’m a full time homemaker now and will be attending college in january. I get up early and go to bed late just to make sure everything is organized and cleaned for my family. Being a chef, taxi,…..is sometimes overwhelming. this book will help me to learn how to “let it go”. Thanks.

  101. I’ve been following you for some time. Thank you for this blog and thank you for your dedication to introduce others to Faith. I did not grow up in a religious home and now want my children to learn that life will be better when walking with Jesus.

  102. I love to see women walking out and sharing with others what God has placed in them. Thank you for being obedient to the call on your life and sharing the wisdom you have gleened with us!

  103. I would love to give this as a holiday gift to my mentor. We have both agreed we are in this boat together in life and are throw our pride and what we are right about overboard.
    Thank you

  104. I would love to receive this book. I was just reading an excerpt in Lysa Terkeurst’s book Made To Crave about Karen thinking I need to check out her blog! Thanks for the reminder!

  105. I can so identify with too many dashes in my writing. It’s hard to calmly stop at the end of each sentence and punctuate when I am excited and want to run to the next thought!

  106. WOW! Could I ever use this book! I know I try to control everything and that I must let go, but gee it is soooo hard! 🙂

  107. Oh I so need this book. I confess I am a perfectionist and feel that if I don’t do it it won’t get done right. A mother of six -although only four live at home- and our youth ministry at church, I feel I could use any extra help that God would send my way.

  108. Sounds like I book I need to get. I’ve have to relinquish some control of flying my own plane of being a pilots wife the last few months of not being able to drive my own car/ plane. with a health scare. God has taught me many things about grace, and control and humor. No matter what got get this book. I’m also a new writer/blogger as well.

  109. Whoa…. I open this blog post just as I text my friend about my issue of “control” being an idol (we are doing No Other God’s Bible Study by Kelly Minter) and how that seems to be a constant issue in my life. Looks like I need this even if I don’t win!

  110. Let Go and Let God… Where do I start? Every morning I wake with the best of intentions but unfortunately I am so set in my controlling ways that many days I barely get a few hours into my day and I have turned my back on that great and wonderful gift He is giving me new every moment of the day. He is so faithful no matter how many times I turn away in a given day.

  111. This sounds like something I need! I have a hard time letting things go at times…okay, most of the time!
    Thanks for this opportunity!

  112. I was just looking for a resource like this because I’m a newer momma that can’t figure out what to give up and what to keep!

  113. I look forward to reading this and watching the LORD weave it’s principles into my life. If it’s the treasure it appears to be, I can share it with others under my influence. God bless you!

  114. There are a lot of things in my life I need to let go…….and things I need to learn that I can’t run the show on too. As my family has recently begun going to church, I also need to learn how to live in Faith better too.

  115. I would love to learn how to let go more, i think this book would help. It sounds interesting like it would be a good read…

  116. Thank you for all you do and for sharing resources like this with us. I learn something knew and/or am reminded of something I SHOULD know every week.

  117. With a hectic, lonely military lifestyle, much of home
and decisions are weighing my shoulders down.
To add that am pursuing a BA as a full time student, have
A special needs little girl that just started kindergarten
As a 5 year old, life gets too weary at times and as my husband
puts it, I micromanage and get a bit “rough” to deal with.
Am sure I am in need of ” talking thing out” as we’ll as reading
/ listening to guidance I understand your book is full of.
I’d appreciate a copy. Thank you for what you do. Irma

  118. Courtney, I love how you share all the things you can’t do when publishing a book LOL!!!!!! It must be wonderful having the friendship you have developed with Karen. Her book and Bible study are going to be amazing!!

  121. It is wonderful to watch what God does when we Let Go and Let God…thanks for the opportunity to win this book. Hugs and Blessings to you.

  123. thank you for the give away. Though I feel bad for not being able to buy . The library and giveaways are my only source of books right now since my husband has not had steady work in 2 years . Thanks
    tammy

  124. This book sounds like just the thing for me. My husband and I are going through a huge transformation in our spiritual lives as well as our marriage. Somedays I am total chaos inside! I know God is in control, but readings like this help make the transitions much easier.

  125. Retired from one 30 year career, 5 years into non-profit fundraising and in partnership in a healthy and wellness business to change my lifestyle and that of my loved ones, I still find myself with all ‘A’s on my prioritization list…it is hard for me to identify a ‘B’ because EVERYTHING seems SO important. This book may be just the guidance I need.

  126. Hello, I love Proverbs 31, I have for many years, and this book sounds like it could be of help with my daughters and I … Living well is such a fresh start for a powerful helping tool She is amazing as is all of the ladies over at Proverbs 31 …

This would welcomed to my library ..

    Sonja

  127. This book sounds like exactly the book I need to read. If I had not just spent so much on fixing my car that I am broke I would go buy it right now. I really hope I win a copy.

  128. Oh boy…do I need this book! … I would looove to have it…
THank you Karen for making us aware of our controlling tendencies…:))

  129. I believe this will be a wonderful book to read and follow. I know I have plenty of Let It Go things in my life, especially with my daughters all transitioning out of the home. I just need assistance in knowing what things to Let Go of and what things to Let God handle. I am Retweeting and sharing everywhere.

  130. I truly am blessed but need divine intervention daily. Would love an E-Reader book version which I take everywhere I go. Thank you.

  131. Wow! This book sounds like it was written just for me! I recently realized that I am a control freak 🙁 I would love to find out how to let go and let God!

  132. Especially this time of year, I need to find the strength to release the illusion of control and give it all over to God. Any advice from someone experienced in this is welcome!

  133. I would love to have this book. I think it would be a very good tool to have esepcially when it comes to my marriage. I will be a new bride soon and would love to take in any advice I can get.

  134. Wow, it took me a whole minute just to get to the bottom so I could leave a comment. Looks like lots of people are interested in this book. Add me to the list!

  135. Oh boy, this is going on my priority TBR list. I definitely need to read it!

Um, check, yes, I need to learn to: Draw the line between mothering and micromanaging
Yup, another HUGE check on this one, Influence your husband instead of manipulating him
Schedule? I can take charge of it? Who knew?! Take control of your schedule yet welcome interruptions from God
I’m terrible at controlling my emotions, especially when it comes to my family. Learn to control your emotions when you can’t control the circumstances
Yup, another yes on my to work on list, Stop pursuing the appearance of perfection and start pursuing the person of God
Thanks so much for posting about this book as well as giving us an opportunity to win a copy. I am controlling and I”m one of those that likes to think I’m not controlling. (:
I am good at letting go and Letting God, however I’m even better at taking it back again.

  136. This would be a blessing. And I’m with you-I love my exclamation marks!!! 🙂 Trying to learn not to use so many:)

  137. Hello, again! I posted yesterday evening and forgot to add something, i did share this to my facebook so others can see this book, with the title of the book let it go, I had an idea. If you have things that are troubling you and you need to give it to God, let it go, why not make a “Give it to God” or “Let it go” box, you can make it out of a shoe box, decorate it any way you like, make a slit in the top, write down on a piece of paper what you need to “let go” of and put it in the box and give to God!

  138. One thing that is really hard it to Let It Go so this would be a great read. I think that is the hardest thing about being a mom and your children growing up and you don’t have any control. Looking forward to reading this… even if I don’t win will go to amazon.com.

  139. How are lives would be so fulfilling if we coukd learn that everything is in God’s hands. I would love to read the book so i could improve myself.

  140. I know there is a way to not micromanage and control everything, I just haven’t figure it out yet. After a year of having things thrown at me that are out of my control and put a huge strain on my emotions I cannot wait to read your book! Thanks for sharing!

  141. I would love to have this book!!!! Oh and I also would have a hard time writing a book I use lol and … Way too much!

  142. This is something that is certainly a huge part of my life right now. The more I profess and pray in Faith, the more that God is showing me the way. This book may be the ticket should I be rewarded in the giveaway or not. God bless! x

  143. Wow, sounds like a great book for women of All ages. I know it will touch hearts and change lives. Thanks for sharing.

  144. I have learned to let go of so much especially since we have been blessed with two grandsons. My sister in law is struggling with alot of things – the most recent is she will need to have heart valve replacement surgery and she continuously tells me “I just need to give it to God but I can’t” – she feels a desperation to hang onto what is tangible and real if she can see it. I would love to give her this gift and let her have her time with God and see the real blessings she will receive if she believes He will take care of her and her heart. Blessings with your Ministry and thank you for the daily sharing. Erika

  145. This is something that I could use so much in my life right now. Alot of hardships have happened in my life and its sooo hard to let it go. This would be so great to win!

  146. Thank you for this giveaway! I am most interested in the section about “Learn to control your emotions when you can’t control the circumstances.”

  147. I know there are a lot of things that I need to let go of and I definitely could use some help walking in faith sometimes. Would love to win one of these books. Thanks so much for this great giveaway.

  148. Love Proverbs 31 Daily Devotionals and how in the world did she know I needed this book at this very time in my life? It’s like you two wrote this blog and book just for me!

  149. Oh, to find the secret to walking with God and managing the household to enough to avoid chaos! Sound like a good book.

  150. I am a mother/grandmother and most of all friend to all. I am requesting the free copy of this book “Let.It.Go.” after listening and looking it over I really believe my daughter Pam needs to have this book. She is a Mother of 7, well you might as well count her husband and make it a total of “8”…she is a fine christian woman, who sometimes I think she is overwhelmed with each day the Lord has given her. She took me for my Cataract Surgery and the whole time kept saying …man a hour has past, or it is already 11 am…like hello I need to get home to my children…20, 19, 17, 14, 13, 12, and 8…before my husband gets home…! But such wonderful christian children…was in Claires at the mall with my grandaughters and one of their friends said “why are you asking her what she thinks of those earrings?” She replied “she raised my mom didn’t she”…(I must admit I was proud of her). So please allow me to give this book to my daughter…to help her be guided in her walk as a mother, wife and friend! Thank you and God Bless!

  151. As momma of 5 and grandma of 18, I’m in need of organization, and keeping things at Jesus’s feet- without thinking I need to “be there” for everyone. Joyce

  152. I have just recently started the Proverbs 31 Woman. As I am just beginning this new path, I believe this book will help me become the wife and mother I was intended to be!

Thank you for your blog, you are inspirational!
    Lori
    🙂

  153. This post was directed to me today. I need this book! My life is all about controlling all that comes into either through the children, my husband, our pets, our friends you name it. I have broken down physically and mentally because I know I cannot do it all myself. The problem is that I do not know how to let it go???? Where to begin??? This book would be a great help for me as well as to others that I know that struggle with the same problems as I. If I don’t win it, thanks for letting me know it is out there, I will buy it :>

  154. I thing I really need this book. I take too many things personally and my husband is always telling me to let it go.

  155. I would love to win this book! A stay-at-home homeschool mom with many responsibilities. Yes, I think I need this book. Ha ha.

  156. I am so excited to get this book. I know it’s unlikely that I will be the winner but I’m still excited. I have shared this on facebook, twitter, pinterest and tweeted that I “pinned” it. This sounds like a wonderful book and dvd lesson. I am part of a small group of ladies that meet once a week in our church and this would be great for our next study. Thank you so much for all that you do to help others.

  157. I am so excited that someone wrote a book about me…lol!!! I would love to win a book with solutions/suggestions to turn these God given abilities into positive directions when they can tend to go south for a lot of women. I shared this giveaway on facebook.

  158. Excited to be a part of the opportunity to receive this book… Thinking I could really use the guidance…
    Blessings to you!

  159. Oh, this is exactly what God has been showing me lately. Everything in me resonates with the the overview. I pray this book will bless many women, and help them in their walk of faith. What a message we all need to hear!
Praying God will give an opportunity to read the wisdom she has to share.

  160. I’m the mom of A special needs child who has been
Reading you daily. I could use this book
As a welcome addition of trying to focus on
Helping myself help my son! Thanks for the daily
    Inspiration!!!

  161. This has and is a generational problem in my family. Among other things, I am learning and working to break some of these things and allow GOD to work in my life and family to provide Joy, peace and happiness in our home and GOD’s will not mine…. would love a copy. Thanks!

  162. hi! I’d love to win a book and share with my girlfriend for our own study group.
Thanks for your enthusiasm!!!! (I love exclamation points too!!! LOL)

  163. I can tell by the description that I soooo need this book! And I know just the friend who needs the other copy! lol I love reading your blog every day; it reminds me that I am not the only one with these crazy thoughts in my head some days! 😉

  164. I struggle daily with letting it go and letting God. I am the type of person that tries to fix or control most (not all) situations and alcoholism in the family is one I can’t. It is very hard to stay seated on the sidelines. Your blog and blogs like this are tools in my journey of letting it go and getting closer to God. Thank you!

  165. I have struggled in this area a lot, matter of fact, cried on my way to work this morning. I am a full-time church secretary with two teenage boys and a husband that is self-employed. I feel like I have to control everything (or it won’t be done right) or I feel guilty if I say no to anything, so of course I volunteer for almost everything, especially at church. I have a blog and it seems I have at least one post per year about the “delicate balance” of juggling work, home, church, family…the list goes on and on. I hope I can receive this resource so I can quit being so bossy and not so overwhelmed.

  166. By the time you’re retired like I am, you’ve accumulated a life’s load of things to “let go.” Thank you for this giveaway offer and the opportunities you present us to further our walk with the Lord.

  167. Thanks for the offer, Courtney. I so appreciate your encouragement and your help in keeping our focus on what is important.

  168. This is definitely a tough issue for me. I like to have things planned out and prepared specially when it comes to my family and sometimes well a lot of times God has to remind me, “excuse me Hope you are not in control”. Every time I step back and His plan unfolds it is always 10 times better than my plan ever could have been! Thanks Courtney for all you do.

  169. This book sounds like a great resource. I know a few other ladies at my church who have expressed their struggle struggle with control I i hope I win so this book can make the rounds!

  170. Just when I think you’ve “let something go” pretty well, I find a new part of it to surrender! God doesn’t want any weed seeds taking over!

  171. I enjoy Karen’s blog and I loved the eBook Untangling Christmas that she co-authored with LeAnn Rice. I would love to win a copy of this book, but if I don’t I will be purchasing it because I can’t wait to read it and participate in the study.

I don’t have/use Facebook or Twitter or any other social sites, but I have still been telling others about this book via good old-fashioned word of mouth and email.

  172. How much should we let go without becoming complacent? What if our kids grow up to be too “laid back” because we let things go in the wrong areas? Balance is what is needed. Sounds like this book would supply much needed words of wisdom for me.

  173. I have entered every giveaway possible for this book because it is SO needed. I am a control freak with a capital C. I love Karen and have her other books so I know this will be great as well.

  174. Courtney, I cannot remember whether I connected with your blog through Karen or vice versa, but the honesty and wisdom I’ve received from you both has been a blessing to me this year.

As a novice writer, I sure enjoyed your comments on your writing partnership with Karen. You have a great mentor. As someone who uses ellipses (…) too much and a tendency toward exclamation (!!!), I understand.

I’d love to win Karen’s new book Let.It.Go.

    Blessings,
    Becca

  175. A lesson that I’ve been working on for years………………………LET.IT.GO!! I’m also a product of a mother who could not (and still can not 😉 ) let it go. We are working on this together ~ what a wonderful way to share this through a book! Looking forward to reading it.

  176. Oh brother….it’s like Karen wrote this book just for me. Maybe I’m not alone, huh?
The topic is spot on for women who tend to run the show!

    Thanks for the giveaway!

    1. Wow there are over 1000 comments. Amazing! I think wanting and desiring to be in control was part of the curse. God told Eve that her desire would be for her husband. I believe it wasn’t for love but for control over her husband because it is what so many of us women struggle with. It is a battle for me and even when ai don’t want to be in control I find myself taking control.

Please read this and count it as a comment even though it is a reply. I couldn’t find the end to post a comment. Great turnout. 🙂

  177. I would love to win this book – I think it might help with my desire to control everything, and my negative response when I can’t. 🙂

  178. I found this via Pintrest. It’s amazing how sometimes God can be subtle and sometimes he shoves it right in your face like “Get it now?”. The timing of this couldn’t be better. I get it now and this book has my name written all over it.

  179. I am so thankful for the work that you christian blogging ladies have done! You provide inspiration to women who are in need. God Bless,

    Jess

  180. I think Karen is wonderful too! I’d love this book. I think it would relate to what I have to deal with now, getting out of crisis mode with my mental disorder.

  181. I cannot wait to read this book! Also, Melissa Taylor will be doing a study of this book at the beginning of next year and I cannot wait to study it with her!

  182. I cannot wait to read this book!! Definitely need to let go of a few things but most importantly I need to let go of my children and let God continue his work in them and they move into adulthood. Scary thing!!

  183. Oh boy, please encourage me with letting it all go. Recently, a shocking marriage crisis led me to realize how much i have manipulated, micromanaged and controlled my loved ones. I’ve learning now to wait on God and simply be loved by him- hopefully, it overflows to my husband and children.

  184. Your Blogs help me EVERY day… wether it be dealing with the grief I still carry from the tragic death of my father or to simply just needing a pick-me-up while going thru the chaotic but oh so fun day raising my 3 year old granddaughter~ You are a BLESSING… Please keep up the AWESOME, POWERFUL, GOD FILLED work 🙂

  185. HI LADIES, DON’T WE ALL NEED A BOOK TO LEARN HOW TO BE MORE CHRIST LIKE INSTEAD OF LIKE OUR FIRST MOTHER EVE. SATAN MANIPULATED HER AND NOW PART OF OUR PUNISHMENT IS WE WANT TO CONTROL EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE! IT’S VERY HUMBLING TO LEARN TO LET GO OF OUR CONTROL AND BE HUMBLE. I LOOK FORWARD TO READING “LET.IT.GO”. THANK YOU ALL FOR THE WORK YOU DO FOR CHRIST!
    LOVE AND PRAYERS,
    JENNY

  186. This sounds like a great study tool for all the young moms in my life! Maybe for all of us ‘not so young’ ones too! 🙂

  187. I am struggling with letting go of controlling my children. They do not need me to micromanage their lives…..I have to let go. I think this would be wonderful as a small group study to begin the new year with. I know plenty of other moms in the same boat with me. We often make resolutions to take control of weight, but not to learn to let go and let God!

  188. I would love to not have a ‘control freak’ attitude for many of the things I do in my life. I’m so signing up to win this 🙂

  189. I would love to win this book. I still struggle to walk by faith. I have pinned & retweeted about this amazing offer.

  190. I am a new mom and have the awesome and new privelage of staying home with her. I have recently been disheartened by realizing how much of a ‘control freak’ I am. It leaves me overwhelmed and it is conditioning my husband not to offer his help because I don’t see the love in his help, only that he didnt do it ‘my way’. We are currently doing Rick Warren’s ’40 Days in the Word’ and one of the video devotions really resonated with me on ‘letting go’: ‘Freedom is losing control and learning to trust God’. The devotion was on Psalm 119:45: “And I will walk at liberty, for I seek Your precepts’. How I long to just let go and enjoy the freedom in trusting that God’s commandments are the guardrails to my freedom. Just follow His Word and know He’s got this. Realizing that while we were meant for perfection, the fall has made that impossible here on earth and finding joy in Jesus, not how clean my home is today or that my baby matches from bow to bib to socks. This book would be a huge blessing with what God is working on in my life. And hoping I don’t leave this legacy to my children as it lives on in me from my mother. Love your blog! It has been so great for me! (And family)

  191. Thank you for this opportunity to win this book. I know I have a lot to let go and let God! I’m hanging onto things that I know God is trying to pry from me. I would love to have this book to help change the things God is teaching me to let go of.

  192. What a great resource! I’m familiar with Proverbs 31 Ministries and have listened to common speakers at various gatherings over the years. I am excited about what comes from the heart of someone who works with ladies that I KNOW hear and follow God every second of every day.

The ladies at my church would LOVE this resource! We talk about some of these issues regularly!

  193. This Home-school mommy NEEDS this book. It sounds like right where I’m at in life and have probably trudged along through it’s entirety. I would be ever so appreciative if it is in God’s plans for me to win this. I will be sharing this on Facebook as well. Thank you!

  194. As a wife, mother and a pastors wife of a small church I am learning how to let things go. This is not an easy task for me since I always seem to have to fill in the gap at the church (when there are no enough volunteers), besides doing what I normally do as a pastors wife, and mother. As our kids are getting older I am learning to let go of the kids and learning my new roll as their mother. Our oldest is 22 has been in the military and now on his own. Our second oldest is 18 (still at home), next is 16 and the last one is 13… I am trying to find out who I am in all of these changes besides trying to find out where the ministry God has given me fits in. This is not an easy task, in fact its quite painful. This video series and book would not only help me but I would share this with the women of our church too!

  195. Would love to win this and share with our Law Enforcement Officer’s wives group. We’re always looking for a good faith based book to study together.

  196. I really need to read this book! By the way…I use too many “…”‘s when I write and I also use lots of exclamation points!!! 🙂

  197. I love when these great books are also put into a bible study format. Can’t wait to use it with my ladies small group.

  198. I would love to read this book. I can’t afford it right now, but feel encouraged by what you share on your blog from Karen.

  199. This is a wonderful gift for my married friends, and for myself!
Though I’m still single, I know the knowledge found in this book will last a lifetime.
Thanks for sharing it to the rest of us. 🙂

  200. I’m posting Here for one entry and could really use the help that this book seems like it would offer. And I’m also tweeting and I will be tweeting every day of the contest so I don’t know if you can count posts as individual entries but I will be tweeting each day I don’t know if I need to come back and put in each tweet individually but you can doublecheck my honesty I follow prov31 And my icon is the Mustardseed. @kellys91709 I think that’s what my Twitter is I’m not sure how it works

  201. Courtney,
Thanks for ALL your encouragement. It would be great to have this book, I need to really work on some areas of my life by LETTING it GO!

  202. I signed up for her 5 day Christmas challenge after you posted on facebook and have enjoyed it. I’m pretty sure this book could be well-used in my life. 🙂 I’m thinking there are lots of areas in which I need that advice. Thanks for the chance to win!

  203. This book sounds like it would be a wonderful blessing to all who read it. I hope I’m the one who wins it. =) Thanks for holding the giveaway!

  204. I’m posting Here for one entry and could really use the help that this book seems like it would offer. And I also tweeted and I will be tweeting every day of the contest so I don’t know if you can count posts as individual entries but I will be tweeting each day I don’t know if I need to come back and put in each tweet individually but you can doublecheck my honesty I follow prov31 And my icon is the Mustardseed. @kellys91709 I think that’s what my Twitter is I’m not sure how it works

    X2

  205. This is me, control freak! With a recent diagnosis of one of our children with PDD, letting go is something I really need to learn to do.

  206. Wow- this sound just like what myself and many other mama friends need to hear. I’m so thankful for you ladies who put your wisdom into print so we can benefit from it. What a blessing! Super excited about the giveaway.

  207. I never heard of this book until I saw it on Pinterest via Proverbs 31. I can’t tell you how much this topic calls out to me. I have already added it to my Bible study idea list for my small group.

  208. My mother-in-law, who passed away 3 months before my husband and I got married 25 years ago, had a banner that said, “Let Go, Let God”. Although it was/is VERY “70’s”, i.e., green background, white & pink felt letters & depiction of a human figure letting go of a balloon rising up to a white cloud, ALL in felt, I still have it…guess I don’t want to “let it go”, just so I’ll have it as a reminder to do just that! 😀 Maybe this book can be my new reminder! 😉

  209. Thank you for the opportunity to win this book! I would love to read & share it with some friends & perhaps family that could also benefit from it as well… I also think this would make a great women’s bible study subject.

  210. I would love to win this book. Karen is such a great writer. She gives such great information and she is so creative.

  211. Wow! Love everything you do to help me among other women in the world get through many thing, a chance to win the book is a small plus. One in a million chance amazed to see all the enteries this is my first time entering anything to win! Keep posting! Thank you for being so open and giving! God Bless

  212. I just saw this posted on a friend’s facebook page. Don’t know why I saw it or clicked on it, but I guess it is a message. Am at a place where “something” has to give in my life. I stay in constant state of “panic” , frustration, and even fear because “nothing I do is good enough”. Maybe I should read this and see if it helps.

  213. I was JUST speaking to a friend last week about this book! We both receive the Proverbs 31 devotional emails, etc. and we were discussing how this would be a great group book! Neither of us are able to be in a women’s group right now (we ARE in couples’ bible studies) so we thought the two of us could just do our own group with this book. Great timing!

  214. I loved your Proverbs 31 e-book! I’ll be doing Let It Go soon with Proverbs 31 online Bible Studies. Thanks for serving!

  215. Thank you for introducing Karen to us. You are always do gracious in sharing the glory. I enjoy your blog and how transparent, humble and upbeat you always are. Thanks for being you and letting your light shine for others (like me) to see. I look toward to reading your book and Karen’s book.

  216. At the age of 58, I have finally learned the lesson that I cannot accept the blessings of God into my hands when I have them closed around my life’s garbage. In our local church, we have an active, mentoring, Titus 2 ministry. I believe that God lead you to write this book so we “older women” can use it as a tool to “instruct the younger women” of the church. Such a blessing! If I don’t win a copy, I am certain to purchase one anyway to use as I enter into mentoring relationships.

  217. I am excited about reading this new author! I am going to check out her organization materials, I need it!

  218. I would love to win this book! I definitely have been (unsuccessfully) fighting my urge to control. Being a military wife, some elements in life are completely out of my control. In response, I find myself snatching up every opportunity where I can gain some semblance of control. I THINK it helps, but reality has shown that it very much doesn’t. I need to give it up to God, and trust. I would love to win this book, to help teach me how to do that!

  219. Just finished a bible study along these lines, and this sounds like a fantastic way to continue in this area of personal growth.

  220. I want to read this book! Feel very out-of-control emotionally, much of the time. Need to give it to God more often and stress out less!

  221. Oh my Courtney! That book sounds right up my alley! Hope I am the lucky winner 🙂
p.s. your exclamation point, smiley face lovin’ personality is what I love about you 😉

  222. I have a long list of Let. It. Go. ‘s in my life. I hope to Win this book so I shared on Facebook & tweeted it on Twitter.(I’m new on Twitter)

  223. love this opportunity. Thank you so much. I think every women struggles with this at one time or another. I am sharing this giveaway on Facebook as well. Thanks again!

  224. You mean I’m not supposed to micro-manage my childrens’ lives?! What would I do with myself without doing that! I think I really need this book!

  225. WOW! I must admit that when I saw HOW MANY have already left a comment in hopes of winning a copy of this awesome book, I was quite discouraged and thought, “Why bother.” But then, I figured, “Seriously, what could it hurt to try?” So here I am, Control Queen. I get emotional upheavals and downfalls whenever things are out of my control. In fact, I know God has been working on me these past couple of years about this very thing. Apparently I am a slow learner. Maybe I can win and finally get some help on letting go and letting God.

  230. I would LOVE to get to the place where I can simply live by walking in the spirit and stop tripping over the work (which is SO exhausting!) I can’t wait to read Let it Go!

  231. I know of at least one HUGE let it go issue in my life. I would love to win this book and read it!! 🙂 Thanks for this giveaway and having a wonderful blog!

    Shame on me.

  233. Hi, Courtney. My nmae is Keriann. I am a 35 year old homeschooling mom to 4 children ( 7 yr. old, 5 yr. old, 4 yr. old, and 2 yr. old). I am definitely in need of learning to Let. It. 235. I posted this on my FB wall for everyone to see! **Proverbs 31…that was one of the main reasons I signed up to be a Thirty One consultant. Now, since I couldn’t book any parties I have become inactive.**

  236. Hi Courtney! Please enter me in the giveaway of “Let it Go.” There are plenty of things God is convicting me on right now, and this book would be a huge blessing. I am currently in the process of building my own platform so that I can be a blessing to others like you! Take care, God Bless!

  240. From the point that our kids are born, we are supposed to start letting go…don’t hold them too much, let them go to kindergarten, let them make mistakes, let them go to college, and so many things inbetween. When disappointments come, we women have to let go and let God. Our strength for all this HAS to come from the Lord. I would love a copy of this book to learn more!

  241. I totally enjoy following both of your blogs, I have really enjoyed reading KAren’s books and can’t wait to read her next one (yours too) Would love to win a copy.
    Keep writing

  248. Ah, what can I say, except that I am a Christian, and I NEED this book. I think that the Holy Spirit led me to read the email that went with the giveaway. Thanks for the giveaway, Grace.

  249. I have just plummeted on to WLW.org and I am smittened without a doubt the best out there, I feel like I am having a cup of tea with you across my kitchen bar, laughing and just chatting it up. Thanks for making what I read so enjoyable and just like me – May God bless your movements, actions, and words – he knows that I need them!

  250. My husband is the senior pastor at our church, which means I wear many hats and juggle many things. Unfortunately that doesn’t help my tendency to try to control things. We often find ourself struggling for power in making decisions about the church and our family. This desire to control seems to permeate every area of my life, but the desire to control my husband and our children are the two areas I struggle with the most. I just hide it in good intentions and wanting the best for them.

I shared this on Facebook & realized that there are many women looking for help to overcome their issues with control!

  251. The title of the book alone makes me sigh with relief! Would love this book to add to my readings as I walk with God and learn of His unending love He has for me! I shared on Facebook as well under Laurie Clark-Jackson

  252. As soon as I saw the title of this book, I laughed. My sister always says, “Let it go Liz!” I think the people in my life would be thrilled if I read and applied this book.

  253. I need this book! I am a control freak and my house has to be perfect. I feel that this book will help me with these problems in a Christian manner. What an awesome book! : )

  254. Thank you for this book and study. One of the biggest issues I have is needing to have and be in control…. of.every.thing! Until I (we) learn that we are not in control and let God take over we will always struggle with this.

  255. LET IT GO – yes!!! As one who is working through letting things go I surely could use some helpful tips to living my life trying not to control so much and let God be in control. THIS BOOK WOULD BE A BLESSING!!

  256. I really need to Let It Go. I admit I have always done things and wanted things as perfect as I could make them, however, I have recently had surgery and an illness that is far from perfect. There are days I wonder why about my illness but I know I need to Let It Go and God will take control if I will only let Him. Your tips in this book may help me on that journey…….Blessings!

  257. I am sure this is late but wanted to give it a shot at winning this! I am not working right now so would love to read it while I am off. Thanks for your consideration and please pray I find the right job at the right time. Thanks again! God Bless!

  258. I am intrigued! Would love to read this! Thank you so much and maybe one day when I’m back visiting my family in your neck of the woods I’ll accidentally run into you:) Blessings to you today!

  259. Would it be bad form to get a copy for my wife? Just asking . . . 🙂 She is a GREAT leader, but often does not know when to turn off the natural born leader and log on to the respectful follower. How can her husband lead if he has no followers?

  260. Our pastor just advised my husband and I to “Let it Go”…the anxieties we have been feeling about our careers and our futures. I saw this posting on Pinterest and hope that I can win your book. If not…I will be pursuing it at our library. 🙂 Best wishes to you.

  261. Letting it Go – such a hard concept to actually do. Our minds think we have done it and suddenly we discover not only have we not let it go but we’ve added even more! I really need to do this better.

  262. Hi Courtney,
I truly enjoy your blog. This is my first comment, but probably not the last.
Please enter me in the book giveaway. Love the title! Who among us doesn’t need to let something go?Marja

  263. I am so excited about this book!! I’m not sure where I read about it, probably your blog 🙂 anywho…I added this book title to my wish list immediately!! Because I’ve got to just Let. It. Go. 🙂

  264. So glad you have developed a friendship with Karen I love her stuff and her blog. I would love this book too

  265. I would definitely love to get a copy of this book! I saw it today and added it to my wish list on Amazon! How amazing would it be to win a copy!

  266. My Bible study group was just talking about this during our meeting this week, and how we need to learn to let it go! 🙂

  267. Done, and I am so ready to Let it go. Really hope I can win, or at least put it on my wishlist on Amazon. 🙂

  268. I’m a recent subscriber to WLW and am enjoying it a lot, especially the wonderful recipes. Would love the chance to win one of the copies of the book. I recently retired after 32 years as a special education teacher, but my life seems busier now than ever. I’m substituting, participating in two Bible studies, doing a lot of organizing, purging, donating, and decorating (long overdue), volunteer at my church, sing in the choir, and performing in our Christmas pageant. Busy as a beaver but loving every minute of it.

  269. Thank you Courtney for the recommendation, one of the best books I have ever read 🙂 I thoroughly enjoyed it after seeing it on here and purchasing it xx Tara (The Proverbs 31 Sanctuary)
