  1. I have made a few handmade note cards for my hotness and I have done this for each of my guests as well who come to my home as a little somethin’ for them to take home!!

  2. Depending on the person, I might bring a bottle of my favorite wine for them to enjoy at a later date. Or if I know they like candles, as a Scentsy consultant, I’ll bring them a warmer and a Scentsy bar.

Like the other day, I picked my Mom up on our way to Presque Isle State Park(on Lake Erie in Erie PA) for a charity walk that benefitted the organization that helped my brother, sister-in-law and nephew during their 13 week stay at Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh. This Organization gave them gas and restaurant cards AND paid for their entire stay at Ronald McDonald House which would’ve been over 3 grand if they’d had to pay for that out of pocket so this organization is a blessing to them as that was ONE less thing for them to have to worry about. They KNEW their son would be born with medical issues. They WEREN’T expecting him to be born 10 weeks early. Which may have been a blessing in disguise as it most likely will lead to him having less defecits from the hydrocephalus…it allowed the Dr’s to put the shunt in earlier. The little guy is doing well. Up to 11 lbs at 4 months old……….my point was that I brought my Mom a Scentsy bar. The August scent of the month. She loved it!

  3. I’m a Mary Kay consultant and people love getting free product! A hand cream is good for almost anyone, but if I know the person well and what their tastes are, I may bring a cream eye color or a blush. All depends on who the person is and what they like. And of course you have to put it in a cute basket and wrap it all special-like 🙂

  4. I love buying small jars of local honey to give as hostess gifts. So much tastier than store bought.

  5. I had to laugh when I saw this blog post. I was searching online for this exact same thing just the other day!!! So it’s a well timed post Courtney, because I didn’t really like any of the suggestions I found – but yours are great! Thnkyou xxx
