Snowman Cheese Ball
Janelle from Comfy in the Kitchen is here with a really fun recipe that can be made in under 15 minutes to take to a party!
Snowman Cheese Ball Recipe
- 2 8 oz cream cheese
- ½ cup chopped green onions
- ½ cup sliced almonds
- 4 cups freshly shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ tsp of cayenne pepper
- ½ cup of Parmesan cheese for rolling
- 15 Peppercorns for eyes and buttons {you may not have to go out and buy these if you have a pepper mill take some out of it!}
- 1 baby carrot {slice it for a nose}
- Beat cream cheese, green onions, almonds, & cheddar cheese together.
- Divide mixture into 3 balls- one large, one medium, one small.
- Roll each ball in Parmesan cheese.
- Place peppercorns on as buttons, eyes and smile.
- Place a slice of your carrot on for a nose.
- Serve with crackers/and veggies!
*I doubled this recipe and changed it around a bit with the ingredients I had on hand. You can do the same! Enjoy!
Thank you, Janelle!

This is so adorable, cant wait to make one . . .
This is such a cute idea Janelle – cheese balls are so yummy and I love drawing in winter to the mix. I’m sharing with my FB page!
Very cute! Thanks for sharing.
How adorable! Thanks for the recipe!
Anyone else have trouble mixing this? It’s almost too thick for my hand mixer. Guess I should’ve gotten out the kitchen aid.
Is it 28 oz. of cream cheese, 2, 8-ounce packages of cream cheese, or what? I would like to make this for our New Year’s Eve party. Thank you!
2, 8oz of cream cheese 🙂
