  1. I am in! I have a Facebook group of friends that I just started and we are looking forward to jumping in scripture with the book of Matthew. I’ve ordered the highlighters you suggest and can’t wait to begin!

I tried clicking on the Facebook group for those leading Facebook groups, but the link was not successful. Can you help a Sister out? 🙂 Thanks!

    1. Hi Beth!

That’s awesome that you started a group. Can you email me at courtney(at)womenlivingwell.org and I’ll send you an invite for the leadership group?

      Lots of Love,
      Courtney

  2. Thank you, Courtney! I am still leading a GMG group after finding you in 2010. 🙂
I want to thank you for the organized reading plans and the long-term schedule you have created. My one question: Do you plan on taking any little breaks before re-grouping or will the reading plan be continuous M-F readings until we’ve read thru the whole Bible? I’m up for whatever you have in mind, but like to be able to tell women we’ve reached the halfway point for the session, etc. 🙂

Have a wonderful week and blessings on you this eve.
    Love,
    Becca in Oregon

    1. Hi Becca –

You are amazing – leading since 2010 – just awesome!!! Thank you!

To answer your question: We will take a break from April 8th until April 19th.

Then we will read through another book of the Bible from April 20th through May 27th. Then we will break from May 28th – June 7th to regroup and then we will begin our summer session. There will be a break at the end of the summer before the fall session and then again in December.

      Hope that helps! 😉
      Lots of Love,
      Courtney

  3. I’m in Courtney!! I look forward to continuing to lead my group as well as Blogging Through the Bible on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays!

  4. I am totally in!! This sounds like so much fun. I recently had to have emergency surgery, so I am not able to attend the bible studies we have at my church. I was so down about not being able to attend, then God led me to this. God Bless you Courtney!

  5. yep – Matthew, here i come! I’m a month behind – but have now almost finished Genesis. Might do the Matthew month, then finish Exodus during the break.

  6. I’m in ☺️. This bible study has been such a blessing for me! Thank you for sharing your hard work with so many.

  7. I love this idea, I just wish I had the time to devote to a whole chapter each day. I work full time and have one young (almost one year old) and a five year old as well. Even trying to get up at 5:00 AM before the kids get up (for the baby that’s anytime between bed and 6:30 AM, not the best sleeper) I am just able to get in one section of each chapter. It may be a slow go, even slower than a chapter a day, but I figure if I can commit to at least that, than it is better than not reading the Bible at all. I’m personally working on Luke right now, I started with the Gospels a little while back. If there is anyone in the same boat as me and has trouble with a chapter a day, just devote your time to one section of the chapter and read one day at a time. Thank you again for sharing, still follow the SOAK method, and am working on getting some colored pencils to start “highlighting” too, my Bible pages are very thin, so I’m afraid to highlight and be able to see it too much (even without bleeding) on the next page.

    1. When I get to busy I just type in whatever chapter were on like today “exodus 36” in Google and pull up bible hub and read the chapter on my phone while I’m making dinner or folding laundry or whatever needs done that day. Lol then I usually email later if I have to. I don’t know if that helps at all or not. But I started a new email only group (I don’t do social media) if you’re interested let me know! No hard commitments, it’s just good to be a part of a fellowship. Have a blessed day!

  8. I am in and I’m bringing 5 ladies with me!! Love love loving this reading plan! So excited to start Matthew and enter the Easter season. My favourite!!!!

  9. I just heard about the Matthew study from a friend at church. I’m in! This will be my first study with you. I’m excited! 🙂

  10. Continuing to be “in”! It never ceases to amaze me how all the parts of scripture relate to each other! The posts on FaceBook each day are enlightening and encouraging! And to see how God takes one chapter and gives different people different insights – for what they / I need for that day!

  11. Yes, I’m in with Matthew! Took a break from Exodus to pursue other interests. Will be following on the GMG Facebook Page! Looking forward to it, Thanks!

  12. Hi Courtney
Random question but what colour would you use for ‘God’s Promises’ and also for personal prophecy – when someone has given you a scripture as part of a word they’ve given you. Please can you help.
    Thank you
    Tracey

  13. Hi Courtney I’m in!!! This will be my first time with you as well. I’m excited to be a part of this. I’ve printed the S-o-a-k pages for Matthew and I’m just waiting. I’ve been doing the P31 ministries on-line bible study but this is does not require you to buy a book and the way you have it set up well it just seems like my cup of tea. Thank you for the free printed pages I appreciate it.

  14. I just found out about this. A group of mom’s from the PTO at our school is getting together to do this. I am excited!

  15. I’m in. Wow. You made this study so easy to follow, and everything is so organized. Thank you so much for all of your hard work.

  16. I’m in! And excited. I’m so hungry and thirsty for God’s Word I can’t wait to dig in. Thank you so much for the free prints and study tool, S.O.A.K. I’ve been following your bible studies but sometimes (well most of the time) I can’t afford the book to study along side. This time I’m happy to say I do have my bible to follow along, so this is going to be so exciting. Praise God!

  17. I’m in! I caught the very end of Exodus, and I’m ready for Matthew. I’m very happy to have found this site, and am sharing with all of my friends.

  18. I am in! I haven’t done a Bible study in I don’t know how long! Between having babies and not feeling well I have been quite preoccupied! I am ordering the highlighters and the twistables! Looking forward to it!!! Thank you for doing this, Courtney!

    Blessings,
    Carmen
(P.S. My college friend, Nicki (E. now P.), is a good friend of yours! So…I knew I could count on you for some good sound Bible-y goodness! 🙂 )

  19. I am looking forward to studying the Bible in Matthew and I’m really looking forward to the new learning verses for this time.
