The Verses of the Day:

I encourage you to choose which verse you’d like to memorize or meditate on.  The printable below includes all 5 verses of the day — for the entire week!

Print and cut them out and put them in the bathroom, kitchen, beside your bed and computer and use them for meditation throughout the week.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. – Joshua 1:8

    1. Hi Regina,

It’s okay if they do not want to post their entire SOAK. You can ask them to share just one part of it – like which scripture spoke to you today or what application or prayer did you write out today? Also, as a leader, be sure to consistently share what you are learning so the others are role modeled how to share.

Thank you so much for leading!!!
      Courtney 🙂

  1. I’m so thankful I came across GMG. I have learned so much doing it along with you all. My first study was the book of Proverbs and I fell in love with it. I’m a new pastors wife and I’m praying about doing a study with the young girls at our church on the Proverbs 31 woman. Do you have any tips or resources I could get to Help us along the way.

    1. Stacie,

Get Courtney’s book “Women Living Well:. It is the very best resource for wives and mothers out there. True to scripture. I have found it to be invaluable.

      Be Blessed!

      1. It truly is!! I’m getting ready to start Part 2: Your Marriage and it is definitely hard to put down. It gives a lot of insight about how and when to set up your personal meditation time with God, which was really helpful for me, and steps to take to begin a women’s study group at your church.

  2. Just what I was looking for, I just joined in!
Any chance you have a full reading schedule of a few months ahead?
    Love this, thank you!!

  3. Courtney,
I recently bought your book, “Women Living Well”, to pass the time spent at home because of Winter storm Jonas and I’m so glad I did! I stumbled upon the GMG website via Pinterest and it was exactly what I had been praying for, a direction for my study and prayer life. Now that I’ve read and studied the book of Numbers and am studying the book of Job, I finally understand what it means to “meditate on God’s word”. Thank you so much for your time, passion, energy, prayers, etc. that you and your team have put into changing the lives of women just like me. I truly thank you for being an answer to my prayers.

  4. Hello! I actually really need this particular study because I am losing hope. Today my pastor mentioned Job 23:10; his response to his trials and I was encouraged. I just thought I would browse through GMG, but nothing is by accident so I am pleased to find you all going through the book of Job as well.
Looking forward to tomorrow and going through the book of Job with this community.
