The Verses of the Day:

This printable includes all 5 “Verses of the Day” — for the entire week.  Print and cut them out and put them in the bathroom, kitchen, beside your bed and computer and use them for meditation throughout the week.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. – Joshua 1:8

  1. I’m so happy to have found this study programme! I’ve just started in January reading Job, having discovered your website over Christmas. I love having the weekend breaks to catch up if necessary – I’ve only needed to do that once when I was ill on a weekday, but the fact that the “breathing space” is there is helping me not to feel under pressure to keep up, so more likely to do it every day if you see what I mean! I chose not to be in a group for the time being but I enjoy reading the Facebook discussions, occasionally contributing, and looking forward to the Friday blog posts.
And I love the SOAK method – it really works for me! I have never really liked study programmes without notes as I didn’t feel they encouraged me to get into the passage each day, but with SOAK plus the discussion/reflection questions and the notes in my ESV study Bible, I feel like I’m really getting a lot from my reading. The whole thing has really revised my whole outlook on personal Bible study. I’m using all the printable resources, I’m really grateful that they are all there as I’m in the UK so there wasn’t time to order the official journal by the time I found out about it. Instead I have the printable journal to write in every day, and I stick the verses of the day on my bedside cabinet, then at the start of the next week I stick them onto the relevant journal pages to make a scrapbook of my study.

Thank you so much for providing this, it really is a blessing. It has also encouraged me to pray more in response to my reading and to encourage our children to pray.

    1. Hi Helen,

Thank you SO much for sharing this! I’m so glad you are here and it has a been a blessing – I love taking this journey with you!!!
      Courtney 🙂

    1. Hi Sarah,

  2. Hi Courtney
My name is Tonya (Blessing) Ive always looked for something to draw me closer to studying God word .This helps me because I never knew where to start.
So I just wanted to say Thank You:)

  3. Hi, I have just found your site while looking for a Bible study to do over the summer. I am currently doing BSF. But got excited after looking at yours as to a daily long term study and I love the printables and all that it encompasses. But am curious…BSF this year is the first Bible study I have ever done. We are studying Revelations. If I were to start doing yours, in order to get a fuller picture and understanding of the Bible, would I start back at your first study and go in order or start where you are and at the end go back and do what I missed?
    Thank you,
    Debbie

  4. After this study is completed what’s next? If there’s a book to order, please let me. So I can order it ASAP. Thanks in advance!

    1. Hi Bertha,

      Courtney

        1. Also could you tell me which book after Mark. I’m about to order from Amazon and trying to avoid the shipping fee. Thanks in advance!

          1. Hi Bertha,

I’m sorry but the next journal is not available yet – we are working on it now and it won’t be available until 2 weeks before the next study begins.

            Lots of Love,
            Courtney

  5. Hi can you tell me if I am just starting do I start at the first study you did on your calendar or do I start where you are? Thank you.
