What Happened to Happily Ever After - NOV10

Current estimates suggest that forty to fifty percent of marriages will end in separation. Couples are struggling to maintain intimacy amidst hectic careers, raising children, and lack of knowledge on how to improve their marriage. Every couple wants to live happily ever after, but wives and husbands often repeat common mistakes and end up with intimacy-challenged marriages. It won’t be too long before their “okay” marriage is a “bad” marriage, and divorce is a serious option.

Happily ever after is not a fairy tale.  There is hope! Dr. David E. Clarke, says couples can rejuvenate their marriages and discover the deep bond God wants them to enjoy. He shows them how they created an okay but boring marriage, and how they can fix intimacy-killing mistakes. As couples read this book and improve their marriage, they will begin to enjoy the journey to happily ever after.

What Happened to Happily Ever After? Fixing the 10 Mistakes Most Couples Make – is available on Amazon both in paperback and kindle now!

David E. Clarke, PhD is a Christian psychologist, popular speaker, and the author of nine books, including The Total Marriage Makeover, The 6 Steps to Emotional Freedom, A Marriage After God’s Own Heart, Cinderella Meets the Caveman, and Kiss Me Like You Mean It. A graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary and Western Conservative Baptist Seminary, he has been in full-time private practice for twenty-five years. You married a good man. He loves you. He’s committed to you. He treats you well. You fully and sincerely appreciate who he is and what he does for you and for the family. The problem is, he does not meet some of your most important, God-given needs. Eighty-five percent of all husbands are intimacy-challenged. Your conversations are brief, safe, and superficial. He does not reveal what he’s really thinking and feeling inside. He believes your marriage is great. He’s perfectly happy…and the intimate, romantic, emotional part of you is dying a slow death. 1. Hi Sue!

Friday is good Friday because it’s a very good day – it’s the day that we remember Jesus dying on the cross for our sins and it leads us to Sunday – resurrection Sunday. That is so very good! Also, the word good refers to the word holy or sacred – so it’s a Holy and Sacred Friday.

      Hope that helps.
      Lots of Love,
      Courtney

  1. With Easter coming I have been seeing a lot of movies about Jesus, and I have been wanting to find out the Hebrew writing of my name. But I am not having much luck and I am the kind of person that want’s to get (miss) information, when it comes to a writing that I can’t read and have to trust someone else. Is there anything that you could recommend to help me? or if you know it, can you show me my name in Hebrew? Thank you so much for your help and I hope that you have a Happy Easter too

  2. Hoi, s quick question: Can non-US residents enter & win? Some blogs have giveaways for USA/Canada residents only. Couldn’t find any information in the post, but perhaps I overlooked it.

    1. OH no – I’m so sorry – perhaps wait an hour and try again. Technology can be wonky like that. I’m so sorry for your frustration.

      Lots of Love,
      Courtney

  3. There’s a discrepancy with the give away. After, I registered via email it stated that I have 0 entries.

  4. These look like amazing books. I was just asking my husband last night, what happened to the happy ever after. I would love to read all 3 of them.

  5. Courtney-
Thank you so much for the opportunity to win these great books. I follow your blog and take part in the studies that you organize and lead. In the summer of 2013 I found myself recovering from an unexpected ACL surgery on my left knee, and a blood clot in the same leg a week post-op. I wasn’t a believer or follower of Christ at that time. I was angry, and completely vulnerable on that couch. Jesus spoke to me then. He sent my sister in law to lead and mentor me during my long months of recovery. I asked Jesus into my heart a few months after surgery. Since then I have been searching and reaching for help in my spiritual journey. Your blog and studies help me so much. Thank hi again for sharing your women’s ministry with me. I hope to one day be able to get to the She Speaks conference to learn more about writing and creating my own platform to share the love and light of Jesus. Thanks again!

  6. Thank you for the opportunity.

I’ve recently joined in with the GMG and ordered the previous and current workbooks. Thank you for being such a blessing in my life. <3

    Love & Appreciation,

    Alison
