Good Morning Girls Resources for the Book of Romans

Join Good Morning Girls as we read through the Bible cover to cover one chapter a day. Here are the resources you need to study the book of Romans #Biblestudy #Romans #WomensBibleStudy #GoodMorningGirls

Our next study is about to begin on Monday, January 15th in the book of Romans!

This book will take us back to the basics and the fundamentals of our faith.

While the gospel is simple enough for a 5 year old to understand, its depths can be explored for a lifetime.  As we go chapter by chapter and verse by verse, systematically through the book of Romans, the key truths of sin, salvation and how deeply we are loved by Jesus, will leap off of the pages and into our hearts.  These truths will change us making us more like Christ.

Below you will find all of the resources you need to get started.  Then watch for more weekly resources here on the blog every Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting next week!

The Romans Journal is available exclusively on Amazon.
Order it now to receive it in time for the start of our study.

This companion Journal is NOT required to join us.

Here’s the Printable Bible Reading Plan Bookmark
so you can check off the days as you go.

For those who are not purchasing the Paperback Journal this printable Journal below has been created for low-cost printing on a home printer and does not include the Introduction to Romans, Verses of the Day or Reflection questions. (This is not the same as the Paperback Journal on Amazon but it is a good guide if you don’t have the journal).

This is a wonderful method that slows us down and helps us soak in every single word.

Here’s what it looks like in my Bible (and some of yours).  You can find more pictures like this out on my Instagram page.

Still not sure how this all works? Here is a video explaining it further.

Here are the highlighters, pens and pencils I mentioned in the video:

Highlighters – Acid Free – Bible Hi-Glider
Fine Line Non-bleeding Pens – Micron Archival Ink and Multi-Colored Gel Pens
Colored Pencils – Crayola Twistables and Crayola Colored Pencils
I use the ESV Inductive Study Bible and the ESV Journaling Bible as my personal study Bible.

  1. I’ve joined through the Dutch facebook page two years ago and I’m starting with my own group of friends this year. Could you please keep me posted. Thanks!

  2. The introduction and resources to Romans by Chuck Swindoll is exceptional. Thank you, Courtney, for directing us to this inspiring message. Looking forward to walking into this letter with all of you. Happy New Year to all!

    1. Hi Alina,

There are no sign-ups or enrollments. All are welcome anytime. Just contact one of the ladies from the open groups here in the comment section and they will guide you from there.

      Love,
      Courtney 🙂

  3. I purchased a journal and just wanted to double check – is the scripture that I copy under “S” the verse listed on the opposite page of the chapter? or do I pick my own verse from the chapter?

    1. I do a mixture of both. Usually as I’m reading a verse or two will stand out as significant to me. Sometimes it’s the same as the verse of the day, sometimes not but whatever that’s what I write down for my S. Occasionally I just don’t find anything grabs me specifically, so I use the verse of the day to focus on and journal around. What I love about this whole system is that it allows me to listen to God’s word rather than just reading someone else’s thoughts (which makes me lazy and disinclined to think for myself!) so it’s very personal – there’s no right or wrong way.

  4. I am so very glad that this series is starting back up! During the break, I learned that I don’t need a Bible study in order to enjoy God’s Word…so the break was much needed for me! But I have so missed doing these studies with everyone! I love reading the chapter for the day, color coding it in my Bible, and filling out my journal while I think about all of the other women that are doing the same thing around the world! The sense of community brings me so much joy. 🙂 I pray that you all have a great study through the book of Romans! And may we all hear God’s voice each and every day through His pages!!

  5. Hi Courtney, I have a query regarding the paperback journal – if you don’t mind my asking I am wondering what proportion of the money goes to you and what goes elsewhere? I usually print out the printable copy (I did buy the Ecclesiastes and Rest and Release as I know they are different) but I was thinking if the majority of the cost goes to you and your ministry it is something I’d like to support. But I wanted to check about that.
    Thanks,
    Helen (Newcastle, UK)

    1. Hi Helen,

I have kept the cost of everything at Women Living Well – as low as possible. I don’t think there is anyone selling Bible Study journals lower (I could be wrong on this). And though Rest and Release and Ecclesiastes were a few dollars more – if you bought those types of studies in a Christian Retail Shop – most likely you would pay more. So since my prices are so low – the majority of cost does not go to me. The majority goes to the printer and the cost of creating it (ie. cost of cover image, cover creation, formatting). A few of the “Good Morning Guys” journals are sold at just $6.99 (Mark, James and Deuteronomy) – those were sold at a loss (they cost more to create than the number that I sold). They were solely for the purpose of helping out moms who want their boys to do their Bible study with them. 😉

      Hope that helps.
      Courtney
