Study Hosea with this free online Bible study from Good Morning Girls’ and find all of the graphics, blog posts and videos right here! #Biblestudy #Hosea #WomensBibleStudy #GoodMorningGirls

Welcome!  I’m so glad you are here!  We are about to begin our study through the book of Hosea on Monday, April 13th and EVERYTHING you need to get started is below – so keep on scrolling down.

There is a lot of information below but the most important part is where you leave a comment and let us know where you are joining us from! 🙂

If you have an open GMG group – please leave your link in the comment section, so women looking for an open group can find you!

Here at Good Morning Girls all the resources are free
but there is an optional Hosea Journal  available on Amazon!
Or you can purchase the printable version
by clicking the Buy Now link below.

Inside the journal you will find:

*An Introduction to the book of Hosea
*The Verse of the Day each day
*A Summary of the Chapter and a Reflection Question for each day
*Blank space for SOAKing each chapter of the book of Hosea.
*An explanation of how to use the signature S.O.A.K. method of Bible Study
*The GMG Coloring Chart
This companion journal is not required to join us.

Here’s the Printable Bible Bookmark for Hosea.

Here is the free printable short SOAK version of the Hosea Journal for logging your SOAK study.   This is for those who are not purchasing the Paperback Journal.

This is not the same as the Paperback Journal – this eJournal has been created for low-cost printing on a home printer and does not include the Introduction to Hosea, Verses of the Day or Reflection questions.

Invite your sons and daughters!

Just like us – our children NEED to be in God’s Word daily.  Children over the age of ten are capable of reading a chapter a day and SOAKing what they have read. I encourage you to introduce this method of study to your children.  Teach them how to drink from the living well of God’s word and soak in all the spiritual nourishment they can!

If you have a son joining you – there is a journal available for them!  The interior is identical to the girls journal.

What is Hosea all about?

The Book of Hosea has two parts.  The first three chapters use Hosea’s life to illustrate his prophetic message, as he marries Gomer, who is repeatedly unfaithful to him.  Hosea continues to love his wife, despite her unfaithfulness to him and so his marriage is a picture of God’s covenantal love for his people and Israel’s continual unfaithfulness to Him.  The last eleven chapters of Hosea record the accusations against Israel and the warnings for them to turn and repent of their disobedient ways.  These chapters reveal the character and heart of God, as he is torn by his love and compassion for them and their need for discipline.  In the end, they face judgement but there is hope, as God’s healing love is poured out on them.

Still not sure how this all works? Here is a video explaining it further.

Here are the highlighters, pens and pencils I mentioned in the video:
