10 Disney Frozen Party Ideas – Food, Games and Fun!

Last Friday we had a fabulous Disney Frozen Pajama Party with Lexi’s 3rd grade Homeschool Group.
(The group is called Classical Conversations – sadly we were missing two of the girls.)

Alexis wanted me to do her hair like Elsa’s coronation.

So this was our version.

(I followed this video >> here <<. There is ribbon in her bun but it’s hard to see.)

Pizza was on the menu but is not show below.

Here was our menu:

The Craft

While waiting for all the girls to arrive, we cut snowflakes out of coffee filters.

The Games:

Pin the Nose on Olaf

 Hot Teacup

(played just like “Hot Potato” to the tune of “Let It Go”)

Mirror Mirror On the Wall  – Who’s the fairest of them all?

(Have each girl sit on their pillow. One girl stands in the middle and says “Mirror, mirror on the wall – who’s the fairest of them all?” Then she hands the mirror to one of the girls in the circle. The girl looks in the mirror and says ” girls with brown hair or girls with a dog or girls with white socks…”  All the girls that fit the description get up and switch seats – the girl left without a seat gets the mirror and continues the game.)

 A Scavenger Hunt

(I used lyrics from the Frozen Songs, for example: “Love is an open _____.”
So the girls look for an open “door” to find the next clue.
All of the clues were found >> here << as free printables)

Movie Time!!!!

We had such a fun evening together!

The girls danced around the room singing all the songs in unison.  Our family feels incredibly blessed to have these girls in our lives.

Walk with the King,

Courtney

** Back in 2009, I had a Cinderella Party for Lexi.  If you are interested in seeing how I did that one – click here.

  • Love it! Thanks for the ideas. You can see in the pictures that the girls had a great time. What are the blue and white decorations hanging from the light fixture in the first photo? They look like tissue paper. Did you make those?

    • Hi Michelle – they are Tissue Pom Poms from the Party Supply Store. But they can be made at home – it’s about 20 pieces of tissue paper cut jagged edged and folded like an accordion, tied together in the middle and fluffed – hope that makes sense. My daughter likes to make smaller versions of these with left over tissue paper. So they can be made at home – but I bought these ones for about $5.

  • Thanks for the inspiration. Party pictures look awesome!

In our house at the moment anything to do with the movie Frozen is the “in thing”.
One of my girls said this morning, “Mama do you have any ideas of party games for my Frozen birthday party”. So I said “there is actually, Courtney just put some on her blog.” So great minds think alike. Yay!
We also previously did a Disney Princess theme party and cake.
Just need to look for some Elsa cake ideas now…Should be fun! 🙂

  • I LOVE these party ideas, Courtney! Love the food, love the games … I’ll be pinning this for a birthday party this coming winter!

  • I LOVE THIS!! Makes me sad that I don’t have a girl to do this with! :'( so thai you for letting me live vicariously through Lexi!! 😀 I didn’t think I’d like the movie at first but I bought it when it came out on DVD/Blue-Ray (don’t own a Blue-Ray player) but after having watched it for the first time on Easter Sunday…it grew on me. 😉

And now, I’ve got “Let it Go” on continuos replay in my head! Thanks! 🙂 lol

  • Hi …I was wondering if you had another link for the scavenger hunt clues…the link on your site doesn’t seem to be working…? Love all the ideas and the food was so cute@
