Good Morning Girls Resources {Job 6-10}

Welcome back to Week 2 in the Book of Job!

I have enjoyed reading all of your reflections from your daily reading out on Instagram and Facebook.  It just thrills me that you are loving this as much as I am!  What an awesome community we have here!

This week is not an easy read.  If you are looking for guidance in the color coding and daily insight into the reading – please visit me on Instagram and visit the hashtag #GoodMorningGirls – there are lots of women posting their pictures of their color coded Bibles and their reflections on our reading.  We are also discussing our reading daily on the GMG Facebook page.  If you haven’t checked that out yet – do that this week!

If you are new – jump in right where we are and catch up on the weekends.  All are welcome to join anytime – there are no enrollments or sign-ups!

Here is this week’s Bible Reading Plan:

This week we will look at:

Chapter 6: Job appeals to his friends for sympathy

Chapter 7:  Job appeals to God for relief

Chapter 8:  Bildad Speaks: He tells Job to get right with God

Chapter 9:  Job’s affirmation of God’s power and questioning of God’s justice

Chapter 10:  Job’s plea to God

Here are this week’s Group Discussion Questions

The Verses of the Day:

I encourage you to choose which verse you’d like to memorize or meditate on.  The printable below includes all 5 verses of the day — for the entire week!

Print and cut them out and put them in the bathroom, kitchen, beside your bed and computer and use them for meditation throughout the week.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. – Joshua 1:8

  • Your journals and reading plans have been a real blessing to me and have helped get me back on track daily in God’s Word…thank you!

Your Instagram feed is helpful as well, but someone is posting increasingly objectionable photos, today the worst yet. I tried reporting it to Instagram, but am unable since I do not have an Instagram account. Just thought I should let you know. Tried contacting you less publicly, but didn’t see an appropriate way to do that.

    Bless you!

    • OH my Nancy,

You are right! They are the worst yet – I had not seen them yet – so thank you for letting me know. I reported them immediately and every time I have reported the others they do get taken down within about 5 hours but still – ugh!

So sorry and thanks again for letting me know.

  • Just wondering? Is there an app for Good Morning Girls for the Bible studies they you have… I don’t have Instagram and don’t like going to Facebook to get the study? Thanks for your help.

  • For when I’m feeling discouraged..

2 Timothy 1:7 For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
