Still Standing Book Club: Week 2
Welcome back to Week 2 of the Still Standing Book Club!
The daily reflections this community shared out on Facebook last week were wonderful! If you missed those discussions – I hope you will join us this week. They are so helpful!
Here are the links to last week’s posts on the blog, in case you missed any of them:
- Still Standing Book Club Resources – Week 1

Still Standing is available on Amazon in both Paperback, Kindle and Audioversion. It is also available online through my publisher – Baker Publishing, Barnes and Noble, ChristianBooks.com, Target, and Walmart!
All of the resources and videos will remain available here on the blog after we complete the book club – so you can do this at your own pace!

This week’s Reflection & Discussion Questions
In your book, there are 5 Reflection Questions at the end of each chapter. I am choosing a few of the questions for our Book Club Discussions here.
I invite you to come back here, through out the week, and share your answers to one or two or all of the questions in the comment section below! <3
Chapter 6
What are you fearful or anxious about today?
Chapter 7
Is there someone in your life you need to forgive? In what ways do you find this statement to be true: “Forgiveness is a choice, an active, intentional choice.”
Chapter 8
Think back over your life. Are there any regrets or wounds that the enemy has used to make you feel shame. In what ways has the enemy lied to you in this area?
Chapter 9
Ruth had an assignment that required a warrior spirit. What assignment has God given you that requires a warrior spirit, and how can you live that out more today?
Chapter 10
When was the last time you felt overwhelmed with sadness? Look at God’s response to Job’s suffering in Job chapters 38 & 39. What do you learn about God from these chapters in scripture?
