How to Prepare Your Heart

Before we begin, take time to:

  1. Pray for God’s Guidance – Ask the Holy Spirit to open your heart to His Word.
  2. Commit to Consistency – Set aside a quiet place and time each day to study.
  3. Gather Your Supplies – You may want a Bible, a journal, pens, highlighters, and printed study resources.
  4. Invite a Friend – If possible, go through the study with a friend, spouse, your children, another family member, or small group for encouragement.
  5. Keep Your Eyes on Jesus – The goal isn’t just to gain knowledge but to grow in deeper love and awe of Christ.

What is “Hosanna”?

The word Hosanna is a cry of praise and longing. It means “Save us, Lord!” and is a declaration of trust in God’s power to rescue and redeem. As we walk through this study, let’s echo that cry in our own lives—celebrating Jesus as our Savior while surrendering to His perfect plan.

Key Verses to Meditate On Before We Begin:

  • Matthew 21:9 – “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!”
  • Psalm 118:25-26 – “Lord, save us! Lord, grant us success! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.”
  • John 12:13 – “They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, ‘Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’”

Open your heart, and get ready to experience the beauty of Jesus’ journey to the cross and the power of His resurrection.

I can’t wait to begin Hosanna in the Highest with you!

If you are new here – you will find that we are a community of like-minded women – here to cheer you on in your study of God’s Word.  We’ll keep you accountable and encourage you on weary days so you make it all the way to the end.

  Here’s a look inside!

Here’s the Printable
Bible Reading Plan Bookmark

This is our reading plan. You will also find this reading plan in the front of your journal.

How Is This Bible Study Different from my others?

  • 7 Days a Week – Unlike my previous studies, this study includes daily readings for all 7 days each week instead of just 5.
  • A Different Format – This journal does not use the SOAK method. Instead, each day includes: a verse for the day, a devotional for the day, a reflection question and space to write your daily prayers
  • No Videos – This will be a silent study. There will not be a video series to go along with this study.

 Begins Monday, March 24th!

Even though there will not be a video series, I WILL BE doing this study with you!

Starting Monday, March 24th, we will begin reading through this journal together.
