I thank the Lord for the outstanding teachers (they can make or break a year!).
Teachers need to know that their investment in our children’s lives are appreciated. Take the time to pick up something small and let your children write out the card to show show their gratitude.
Thanks so much for these ideas Courtney! Our teacher appreciation week is next week so I need to get busy!

I love a more handmade/homemade gift to give. I have been knitting dishcloths for my "secret sister" and will tuck in a bottle of Mrs. Meyer's dish soap. Great ideas , I have bookmarked the sites:-)I love that smores one!
Love the smores idea! I'm doing something each day this week for my son's Kindergarten teacher and this is perfect!
You are awesome! Thanks so much for adding me to your list!
These are FABULOUS!! Thank you!
Wrapping candy bars is also a great way to give an inexpensive gift to teachers. I use scrapbook paper and embellishments to make a neat gift. I made some for my children's teachers for Easter.

Making some word art images can also inspire some great creative gifts for teachers. The words of a poem basically form a shape and the text can be uplifting.
I made some images especially for Christian teachers and missionaries in Ukraine. They really appreciated the gifts. The only limit is your imagination. The images are at my blog Templestream and also at Flickr Templestream.
What wonderful ideas! My older 2 children have multiple teachers (middle & high school) but we still like to acknowledge their contribution to my children’s success throughout the year. Buying a nice gift can get costly… these ideas are a perfect way to show them our appreciation and can be ‘used up’, no tacky teacher gifts sitting around. Plus they are easy enough for the kids to take to school! In my preschooler’s class, a mom usually collects money for a larger gift for each of the 3 teachers, but I still like to do a little something. These ideas are great for that, too! Thank you!
LOVE IT!!!
There are some secret sister ideas in here too.
I made up little bags that held a small bottle of hand sanitizer and tissues for my 2 sons 7 Sunday School teachers (one kid has 4 teachers that rotate!) In the baggie I put an index card that said “Thanks for being Jesus’ hands” to my (insert son’s name). Here is something for your hands.” Hand lotion would have worked in this case too, but the sanitizers and tissues cost me about $3 per person to make up. Another cute idea I just had would have been a pumice stone and or nail polish for being the “feet” of Jesus π
