3 Hair Tutorials & WLWW Link-Up Party!
Need some new hair-do ideas?
Here’s 2 of my personal hair tutorials-
The Easy Front Twist:
And The Messy Bun:
My friend Janelle from Comfy In the Kitchen – showed her readers how she “cooks” her hair with hot rollers (I LOVE hot rollers!) and her video ended up featured on Conair’s Facebook page – fun! Check out her lovely locks and it only takes 3 minutes to put in (10 minutes to cook 🙂 ) – amazing!

Loved the videos! Y’all may cut into the beauty shop profits!
Excellent videos and thanks for hosting! I shared a post on how to make coconut milk with recipe ideas and nutrition information.
The easy front twist will be my hairstyle for tomorrow morning. Thank you. : )
I loved those videos! So fun! I tend to wear my hair back too much…I need to start doing more with it!
So sorry that I somehow accidently became number 125 and 126. I really don’t understand how I ended up linking up twice. After I loaded my photo it took me to the linky site instead of back to your blog, so I thought it had not worked. Still learning all this blog stuff. Slowly, inching forward.
I love your videos, but I’m so conflicted about my hair. It’s grey underneath, so I let it hang down. As for coloring, I’ve been through devastating illness, and don’t dare put the chemicals into my system. So I don’t know what to do, and just leave it…. Sigh.
I posted about an awesome book for Christians, to help them understand the faith and how to share it. It’s called 4 Letter Words.
I love your camera crew! Your daughter saying “puppies!” in the background on this first one? So funny! Great hair ideas. I saw “comfy’s” hair the other day. She’s great! I’m linking up for the first time today. Looking forward to meeting some of the other bloggers. 🙂
Love the hair tutorials – we all need a little boost now and then! Here’s a tutorial that I LOVE on 5 minute curls with NO heat! My best bud and I have both tried this and it does wonders! Give it a whirl…

Hello, I am linking up with you for the first time. Thanks for a wonderful party and for being such an encouragement to Christian women. I added my post about my new bread making gadget. We are a family of 10–yes, I make lots of bread!
When I had longer hair, and it would NEVER grow to just past my shoulders, I was always throwing it back into a ponytail for work and even around the house because I don’t like it flying in my face. So, I just cut it short since my son was 6 months old(he’ll be 8 in April) and currently rock a pixie cut a la Halle Berry.
I envy people with long hair like yours and Janelles but unfortunately, I don’t think I’m genetically programmed to HAVE that kind of long hair. So I gave up trying.
Kelly! lol- we always want what we don’t have- what I would give for a face that looked great with a short hair cut! I rely WAY too much on my hair, LOL!!!!!!! My little girl has the same issue- her hair won’t grow very fast, but her little bob is so adorable-it’s so fresh and clean all the time! I love short hair! (and curly hair, lol)
Love, Janelle
Ahhh… it’s so nice to get some inspiration to try something new. Thanks for these tutorials. My daughter and I have enjoyed watching them!
I have butter fingers when it comes to my hair. It is long and thick. I love the first one especially. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Thanks for hosting the link-up! May you have a blessed week!

Loved the videos – thanks! And I want you to know that my 5 year old son came in to see what I was watching and stood next to me amazed. Hilarious.
Wonderful tutorials! I am so going to try the first two for me and my 4 yr. old! and Janelle’s do is exaclty what I do. It is the quicklest and easiest way to do my hair. thank you so much for these fun tips! And thank you for hosting!
Thanks for sharing these. I can always use a new idea for my locks!
Loved the hair tutorial. I have short hair; but I love doing my grandchildren’s long hair.
My hair looked darling today, thanks to you! The fake braid in front still looks absolutely darling and the tutorial was so easy to follow! Thank you!!!!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
I love your videos. And these are so fun!!! Thanks for sharing..
Love the videos! Puppies! so cute!!!
Hi Courtney! I just wanted to say “thank you!” for the hair tutorials. I have an all day event for work today (and it’s Kansas…in summertime…HOT!) so I was grateful to see the messy bun. I did it this morning at the nape of my neck and love it! I’ve of course done it before with the bun part, but never the pins- it adds so much.

When my daughter was young and had no patience for her hair I did a quick ponytail and spiced it up. I would put the ponytail at the nape of the neck loosely. Then separate the hair a bit in the middle right about the holder and flip your ponytail through that and pull it all the way through. This give you the twist look along the side of your ponytail with very little work and very little time. Made my daughters daily pony look a little fancier.
I just found these tutorials. Now I wish my hair was long. I got so sick of it long that I had it cut into a bob. 🙁 You guys looks great!
