Making Disciples of All Nations

Group of Teenagers Holding World Globe Map

I do not have a Genesis post for you all today.  I’m so sorry!

You might notice that my site has been updated with a fresh and clean look.  As a result, I did not get my video I had planned -made – so I’ll save that message for another day.

Instead, I wanted to share with you about how God is working in Germany through Good Morning Girls AND invite you to join the GMG International Team…(that’s coming at the end of this post).

First – let me introduce you to Katja.

Katja and I met on-line in 2010 when she emailed me.  She told me she was joining the “Making Your Home a Haven” Series and asked if she could translate my posts into German {gasp}. So I considered that for all of 3 seconds and of course said – yes!  (Click here to see one of her first posts.)

Since then Katja has started a second website with friends – here is what is on her heart today.

Blogging through the Bible in Germany

In January 2011, a small group of girls in far away Germany heard about Courtney’s Good Morning Girls James Bible Study and wanted to start this, too. Looking back that was a long time ago. Thinking about reading in the bible we loved the concept of digging deep into the word but right away knew that we wanted to do this in our own language – to be able to really understand every.single.word! So we asked Courtney for her permission and started translating the materials and some blog posts and we did this ever since.

Reading about the “Blogging through the Bible Study“, we all loved the concept and the idea to study the word by chapter. So for the month of November we will give it a try and read through a few letters of the New Testament:

Is German your first language?  We invite you to join the study!

The posts and information

There will be regular posts in German on our blog to give you inspiration and more information about the books. We are happy to have a little group of women writing and hope that we are able to share our thoughts and our belief with you.

Now for all the Germans out there who did not find Good Morning Girls Germany yet, just click on our button and join us reading the bible in our native language – then hop back to Courtney and soak in her great advice and interpretation of the word! We’d love to greet you over there!

~ Yours Katja

Thank you Katja for the way you are serving the women in Germany!

And so now I have to ask…

Is English your second language?

Is there any chance God is laying on your heart the desire to be a part of GMG International?

You do not have to have a blog to serve.

The leader of our translation team is Rosilind.  (Check out her beautiful Croation GMG website here).  Remember this graphic from last week that said “When You Are Tired of Waiting On God”?  Here’s what it looks like in Croatian!

We would love for you to join our GMG team if God is laying this on your heart.

We have a GMG International Facebook group – simply email Rosilind at:  alittlerandr@outlook.com and let her know what language you speak and she will give you all the details!

We are praying that God brings the women he has to join our team in his timing.

Walk with the King,

Courtney

  1. Courtney,
I just love your desire to share the gospel world wide. And I also love how God is using your blog and ministries here to go into all the world.
Thank you for all you do.
And The blog is beautiful BTW.

  2. My favorite bible verse has always been: with God, all things are possible. It comforts me when I am worried or feel overwhelmed or powerless.
It looks to me like God is performing another impossible miracle – using a stay at home mom as a missionary to the world.
WLW & GMG’s are blessings in my life.

  3. Courtney.
I am following your Genesis Bible Study and excited to be a silent part of it. I came across your book WLW in our local library and read it about 6 month ago. It was such a blessing and I start coming to your blog. I even share your videos with my friends and we are Russian speaking community in Philadelphia PA area. Thank you for being a great encouragement.

  4. Courtney – thank you so, so much for your ongoing support of the Good Morning Girls in Germany! It’s always a honor to have the opportunity to bring your wonderful ideas to our German site.

Oh and I totally love your site’s new look!

    Greetings from Germany!
    Katja
