Introducing Psalms!

Join Good Morning Girls as we read through the Bible cover to cover one chapter a day. Here are the resources you need to study the Book of Psalms. #Biblestudy #Psalms #WomensBibleStudy #GoodMorningGirls

It’s time to return to our reading in the Book of Psalms.

If you were with us back in September, then you remember we read Psalm 1 & 2. But that’s it!  So if you are new to GMG and you have not read them yet, just add them in through out the week and you’ll be all caught up!

We will remain in Psalms the entire month of December as well.

If you would like to do some advent reading, to go along side your reading in Psalms,  click here to download the free GMG Advent Study.

  1. Hi Courtney, another great video clip, just wondering if you could please share the name and author of the book you mentioned, I missed it.
Thank you again for all your hard work

      1. hi Courtney
Just want to tell you, I came across the book “Through Gates of Splendor” at an ACE student international convention about 20 or so years ago. (Not sure about the years) Anyway, Elizabeth Elliot was there signing her book. I had never heard of her or her book, but after hearing her speak, I bought a copy. I have to tell you, This is one of the best books I have ever read!!! I had to tell my pastor about it. I still have the book, and still read it over from time to time to remind me of the complete love and trust that it takes to do what god tells us to do. Not all of us can follow through like Elizabeth did. Wow, I know that Jim Elliot would have been so very proud of her for completing the mission that god sent them on, even though they killed him!!!

  2. Hi Courtney,
I have missed the beginning, but I am really excited to join the bible study on Monday. Thank you very much for giving so much of your time and energy to this ministry!
    Have a great Sunday!
    Martina

  3. I would like to join this Bible Study. Do I go to the Facebook page is this correct?
Or which link to y he website not the blog? Thank you.

    1. Paulette, just go to the Good Morning Girls Facebook page and join in. I just started last week and can’t tell you what a blessing it has been.

  4. Well! I was really meant to have that book, I put the name of the book and author into ebay search and BINGO, $10.87 and it’ll be here early December.. Thank you for sharing Courtney xo

  5. I so enjoyed reading Psalms. Parts of it ministered to me so much around the time of my dad’s passing. Looking forward to these again! I actually enjoy reading the Psalms aloud. The words seem to feel powerful and prayerful when I read them out loud. Thank you Courtney for all you do here! It has blessed me so much!

  6. Hi, I’m just knowing your site and your work. Sorry if my english is not good enough, I’m from Uruguay, small country between Brazil and Argentina.
Even I couldn’t get through the book of Genesis with you, I’ll join your reading of Psalms.
Just wanted to stop by and say that the way you communicate our God’s Word is amazing. Letting nonthing else lead our life but Him, and I’m looking forward to slow my soul down and focus on God and follow His plan for me.
I’m a wife and mother of 3 girls (15, 5 and 2 years each). I am the only Christian in my family and this is one of the reasons why I really want to be this tree with roots deep enough, so my family can get to know God from me.
It is a pleasure to meet your community and hope God makes me grow in faith with you.
    Kind regards,
    Rossana

    1. Hi Anna – I apologize for not specifying – I plan to rewrite the cover page to our eWorkbooks in the new year so it’s more clear.

There are no assigned passages to SOAP – please follow the Holy Spirit’s leading and do what time allows. Some may not want to SOAP at all – simply work on the daily discipline of being in God’s word. Some may want to SOAP 1 or 2 verses, others may want to do 5-10, still others may want to write out the entire chapter. Do whatever time allows you in this season of life. Grace 😉

      Lots of Love,
      Courtney
