Crock Pot BBQ Beef Stew
Mmmm….My mouth waters just thinking about it! The aroma of BBQ Beef Stew in the crock pot cooking all day is almost torture! I must admit that I lift the lid and sneak a bite around the 6 hour mark! This recipe was one my mom made regularly since I was a child – we had BBQ Beef Stew over noodles with a side salad regularly and we ALL cleaned our plates!!
So here’s a hearty meal for your family to enjoy!
BBQ Beef Stew:
1lb. Boneless beef stew cut into 1 inch pieces
1 can tomato soup
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. chili powder
2 Tbsp. sugar

1lb. Boneless beef stew cut into 1 inch pieces
1 can tomato soup
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. chili powder
2 Tbsp. sugar
Place it all in the crock pot and cook it on low for 6-8 hours. Serve it over a bed of egg noodles with a side salad and you are set!
Sounds delicious!
I will for sure try this one. My kids love anything with noodles.

I have a vegetable beef stew in my crock pot as we speak! Great minds think alike. I will bookmark this recipe.
Courtney, sounds yummy! I am not a cook, so I have a question – do you brown the beef first or just dump it in as is? Thanks! Jenny C.
Great guys!
Jenny C – my mom's original recipe said to brown the meat(but she cooked her sauce and meat on the stove) For the crock pot you just dump it in and it is PLENTY brown when it's all cooked up 🙂
Good question – thanks for asking!

That looks fabulous, Courtney! Thanks for sharing!
Awesome! I LOVE using my crockpot… especially during these cooler months! I am going to try this recipe next week! Thanks for sharing 🙂
This looks sooo easy and delicious. Thanks for sharing!
I love the look of this…. I’m on the lookout for crock-pot meals – so handy when I’m busy all day. One question – what you call noodles… looks like pasta to me (I’m in the UK). Maybe not – just want to make sure …. 🙂
This looks great but hubby hates catsup, anything I can sub for it? tomato paste maybe?
made this for supper tonight. so easy! loved the recipe, but i didn’t care for it on the pasta. maybe rice would be a better choice?
