  1. ooh! how fun!! That is so neat that they offered this give-away to you.

I like to make chocolate lace cookies — they are rather time consuming, but look very pretty on a tray of assorted cookies and taste great too!

I'd love to win the mixing bowls — I think the chocolate ones look great (but I like them both!).

I love coming here and seeing what new tidbit your are posting about each day.

    Aimee

  2. I was going to say my favs are buckeyes, but since someone already said that I'll go with "Kiss Cookies" since they have peanut butter and chocolate too (a great combo any time of the year!). I love the bowls and could really enjoy using them. Thanks for entering me in the giveaway and have a great day! Jenny C. orosco99@juno.com

  3. Oh, I love those bowls! I could definitely use them in my kitchen! Thanks for the great giveaway! Count me in!

  4. my favorite cookie to make is Thumbprint cookies… they are rolled in crushed walnuts and thumbprinted of course and have homemade strawberry jam in the center..yummy to eat too!!

not to mention they are my husbands favorites!!!

    thanks for the giveaway!!!

  5. As a family, the kids and I enjoy making traditional frosted cut-out cookies. It's time-consuming, but it brings us all together – Dad even joins in for the decorating part! Over the years, I have learned to stop obsessing over wanting them to be perfect and pretty. Instead, I let the kids decorate them however they like! As far as they are concerned, the more sprinkles and more colorful, the better! We usually even have an "ugliest cookie" contest at the end. Usually Dad wins this one! LOL

  6. My favorite Christmas cookies are plain, old-fashioned sugar cookies that you cut into assorted Christmas shapes and decorate with icing. Brings out the little girl in me.

Have enjoyed reading your blog! Keep being a light for the Lord! 🙂

  7. My favorite to make are sugar cookies because my preschool girls have the best time decorating them with sprinkles. 🙂
    Blessings!
    Amy

    Blessings,

  10. Thank you for your wonderful blog- for taking the time to uplift other moms! I have really appreciated your site!
Anyways-my favorite cookies at Christmas are Sugar cookies, but not just any. They have to be my Great-Grandmas recipe that have a citrusy flavor to them! So Yummy!!

  11. Oooh! So fun! My favorite cookie to bake and eat during the holiday season is Sour Cream Sugar Cookies…they are super moist and soft and OH SO GOOD!

    Many Blessings,
    Melissa

  12. My favorite cookies to bake are peanut butter blossoms. They have a chocolate kiss topped right in the middle so every bite is peanut butter and chocolate! My kids love these! My favorite cookies to eat are the Russian teacakes. Mmmmm. I am more of a baker and wish I was a better cook. I would love to have these bowls.
    Thanks !!

  13. I am not a big cookie fan – but my husband's chocolate chip cookies are amazing – so even though it's not "holiday" – they are my FAVORITE cookies! 🙂

  14. I am a new reader and am really enjoying your blog – great encouragement! My favorite Christmas cookies are chocolate-covered cherry cookies my mom makes. She knows they are my favorites and we usually try to bake them together for the holidays!

  15. Beautiful mixing bowls. Was just thinking I needed new ones. 🙂

My favorite cookie .. I am a traditional gal. I have to say "kiss cookies" … Yum! We have these on our Saturday plan this weekend. 🙂

  16. Those are some sweet bowls! Love the colors.
My favorite Christmas cookie to make and eat – Frosted Sugar Cookies. I always make these with my kids and we decorate them together. I love that tradition. Same as when I was growing up.

  17. I love just about every cookie out there – well, not iced cut outs, but that's not a story most want to hear!

My new favorite are these Jeweled Lace Cookies I made last year from Rachael Ray's magazine. They have craisins and pistachios embedded in a sweet crunchy wafer thin cookie. They only have something like 20 calories each, but since I feel compelled to eat at least five at time…

    ~ Nicki

  18. I miss my cookies 🙁 I can't eat a lot of my favorites because of a gluten allergy and this is my first holiday season without them.

With that said I think my favorites would have to be chocolate peanut butter

  19. My favorite cookie to make are Rosettes…not because I eat them, because I really don't, and not because they are fun or easy to make, because they aren't…but because my husband loves them. I make these just for him, (my mom eats a few and so does my oldest daughter), because he loves them and no one else in our family makes them.

  20. I am an avid baker and cake decorator! It is a newish hobby of mine so I am still trying to collect all the materials I need and nice mixing bowls are on my list:) I would love love love these! I love all sweets, so picking a favorite is impossible. But I love anything will cinnamon and all spice or cloves. So lots of christmas baking at my house 🙂

  21. Fattigmann Cookies are my favorite. Most years my mom and I make them together.

I love your site, and the bowls look great too!

  22. I love Buckeyes! Peanut butter rolled in chocolate – mmmmmm!
I'd love to win the bowls. They would make a perfect gift for my mother-in-law. Thanks for the giveaway and your words of encouragement. I look forward to reading your blog everyday. I have learned so much about marriage and parenting from you.

  23. I don't think I can choose just one favorite kind….I love them all! Sugar cookies probably rank the highest on number consumed, however. 🙂 Delicious!
    Love your blog!

  24. My fave kind of christmas cookie is either just the plain sugar kind you get to "paint" or ginger snaps.

And just FYI: I just recently stumbled upon your blog (as in last week). And, even though I've kinda slowed down as a blogger, I added you to my goggle reader.

  25. We make several different types of cookies, but my favorite is the simple, sugar cookie (with frosting, please!).

    The bowls are gorgeous!!

  26. Christmas baking always reminds me of being at home with my Mom. My favorite as a child (and now, with my kids) was making sugar cookies and decorating them with my Mom and sisters. By the way, thanks for your blog. I enjoy it very much! Merry Christmas! cmcamp2@hotmail.com

  27. What beautiful bowls! Gorgeous!!

My favorite Christmas cookies are gingersnaps. My kids and I tried several recipes until we found "just the right one". They are not too spicy, not too soft, not too molassesy(is that even a word?). Yum!

The best cookie recipe book I have ever found is called "Christmas is Cookies" isbn:0-7835-4827-3. Not a bad one in the bunch and seems to cover all the traditional cookies and desserts.

Thanks so much for your website. You are a blessing to me.

  28. My favorite cookie to make is a reese cup cookie. It's almost like a peanut-blosson, but instead of a hershey kiss, there's a reese cup. Absolutely scrumptious!
I love all of the bowls, but the brown one is beautiful!
I have just started following your blog. Some friends of our family go to church with your parents or in-laws(I can't remember). They've said we seem to have lot in common 🙂 I'm enjoying your blog and your inspiration. 29. Dave and I love making cut out sugar cookies while Dave eats all the frosting! Also, another favorite we make is Buckeyes!! YUMMY!
    Thanks Courtney!!
    Love ya, Shasta

  30. My absolute favorite Christmas cookies are the regular sugar cookies my Grandpa Langsdale used to make. He was a baker, and owned his own bakery. Unfortunately he has passed. But tomorrow I am going to make cookies with my mother for the first time EVER! I am hoping to get the "secret" recipe. They were sooo soft, and delicious!
    Julie lpn1997@aol.com

  31. Jam Thumbprints are one of my favorites! It's funny with all the kids though trying to get them to be the same size when we put the dough balls on the tray to bake.. all different sized thumbs too!

  50. My favorite one to eat are the ones other people make! Somehow, they always taste better than the ones I slave over…

  51. My absolute fav is sugar cookies. Just the way my mom made them. They have to be rolled really thin and just lightly browned. Then topped with homemade frosting! Yummy.
    Love the mixing bowls.
    Kathy

  52. Those are really pretty! I love the cobalt ones. Honestly, my favorite Christmas cookie is the sugar cookie cut out in different Christmas shapes. It's my favorite because we all sit down to decorate them with frosting, sprinkles, etc. and it's a great family bonding time.

  58. This is a toss-up for me. I love decorating cut-out sugar cookies with as many frosting colors and decorator tips as I can use. But my sentimental favorite is German Pfeffenusse (peppernuts)as they are a special memory of my Mom.
The bowls look great. So glad to have found your blog. (Found you from Raising Godly Tomatoes)

  59. Our favorite is probably Ritz crackers with peanut butter dipped in chocolate, but since I tend to put that in the candy category rather than cookies, my favorite cookie that I usually only make at Christmas is "Little Debbies"(oatmeal sandwich cookie with frosting in the middle).
    Rhonda
    crhelmuth@juno.com

  60. Oh how fun! I think my favorite all time candy to make at Christmas is homemade caramels! The only problem is I always plan on giving them as gifts…..and way too many find their way into my tummy! YUM!!!
