Good Morning Girls Resources {Exodus 16-20}

Join Good Morning Girls as we read through the Bible cover to cover one chapter a day. Here is the information you need for the Book of Exodus. #Biblestudy #exodus #WomensBibleStudy #GoodMorningGirls

It’s time to begin Week 4 in Exodus!

If you are still with us – way to go!  You are being so disciplined!  Michael Hyatt says, “4 out of 10 people quit their New Year’s Resolutions before February!”

It’s hard to press through busy schedules…but you are still here and going strong and just look what God is teaching us! This study has been wonderful!

If you are in a GMG group – do not stop checking in with your group.  They want to hear from you – even if you weren’t able to read that day’s reading – chime in and let them know you are behind. They will pray for you, cheer for you and keep you accountable…this is why we have the groups.  Because together we are stronger than when we are alone. 😉

Are you new here?  All are welcome to join us anytime – so if you have not begun Exodus – no worries – just jump on in and try to catch up on the weekends!

Every morning at 7:45am(EST) on the Good Morning Girls Facebook Page we discuss the Bible reading for the day – don’t miss out! The fellowship has been awesome!

Also, use the hashtag #GoodMorningGirls on Twitter and Instagram to find our community through out the week.  We’d love to see your quiet time pics!

This week’s Monday Meditation {and Memorization}

Print the passage and put a copy by your computer, in your kitchen, in your bathroom, your purse, your pocket, in your car, beside your bed or anywhere else you spend time.  Meditate and SOAK in the word of God day and night!

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. – Joshua 1:8

Here is the complete passage we will be meditating on during our 8 weeks in Exodus:

Memory Work Psalm 77- 11-20

This is a printable – click HERE to print

 This week’s Meditation Verse:

Memory Work Psalm 7716

Print just 1 copy (pictured above) or print 6 copies (pictured below)
of the same verse so you can put it in different places for review.

  1. Could you point me towards some Good Morning Girls facebook groups or other online GMG fb groups? I have been unscucessful in my search.I would be so grateful. I also wanted to tell you that I absolutely Love your website and Blogging through the Bible. I have been with you since the beginning in September, I believe it was (?)….admittedly and shamefully, I do get behind some weeks as 4am is my time with God and Bible study/devotion time and sometimes getting up at 4am just doesn’t happen if I haven’t slept well. But when I can, I always get back to it and get caught up. Today, I have to catch up from last Tuesday through today. Whew….I gotta get to reading and studying.

    1. HI Sandra – our Facebook Groups were formed at the start of the year and won’t re-open until the week following Easter. I apologize.

Please follow along on the public Facebook Page at http://www.facebook.com/goodmorninggirlswlw We have a great conversation surround the passage for the day every morning!!! Check out today’s – it was so good!!

      Lots of Love,
      Courtney

  2. Thank you Courtney for this Bible Study. I am encouraged by what you wrote, most drop out by February. Well, I’m still here!

  3. Courtney, I really like the program but as a Chronically Ill person Especially since I was just in the ER the other night. I am not able to check
in every single day due to being flat on my back because of my diseases. I am wondering if you are willing to let the chronically ill group slow the postings to maybe twice a week. This posting schedule we are on took too much energy out of me. I suffer from ankylosing spondylitis, fibromyalgia, now I may be diagnosed with EARLY onset Parkinson Disease. Most of my delays in posting are from being too pain filled to even make it to Facebook to post or even to my computer or tablet either one. Much of my pain treatment has not even started yet. Let me know if you think this is okay. Generally, I am not awake until 9:00 a.m. pst. Also, I do not have a working printer. Thanks -Karen

    1. Oh Karen – I’m so sorry for what you are facing and am so thankful you have a group who are in the same place and can relate.

Please go at a pace that is best for you and your group – grace. God knows and sees and the groups are just there for encouragement. We never want guilt to be a part of this.

I’m so glad you are here and are joining us as you can. Keep on going!
      Lots of Love,
      Courtney

  4. Courtney, I’m not sure I have a group to follow, but I have been following you every day on Facebook and on twitter. I got a little behind this last week with sick kids, but ready to start this week and diving into God’s word.

  5. I am loving this reading plan. It makes it easier to soak it in taking one chapter at a time. I haven’t started using the colored pencils yet but I am going to try that today. 🙂
I also like choosing my own SOAK passage, one that speaks to me. I am learning so much!
I like the discussion questions as well. Thank you for making them into a printable!
Thank you for all of your hard work!

  6. I love the discussion questions Courtney! Personally I struggle with the old testament. I find my group helps me see the verses in a whole new light. The comments each member motivates me to read the passage. When I open my email each morning I instantly look for the new thread BEFORE going for my blogging emails. Thanks for the great resources!

  7. Hi,

I usually post the discussion questions one at a time. This week they are showing up as one template….I’m not sure if I am doing something wrong this week 😉

Thank you for all of your labors on our behalf.

    1. OH bummer! I did not think about this – I made it a printable (because I had multiple requests for this) which connected them all…so next week – I’ll try to provide both – a clickable image to save one at a time AND the printable.

I’ll keep tweaking till I get this right 😉 Lol!

      Thanks for letting me know!!
      Courtney

  8. I was so looking forward to starting Exodus at the beginning of this year. I had a special Bible, journal and all my writing utensils. Due to the usual this and that I wasn’t able to start on time and things went downhill from there! I’ve been checking in on the Facebook posts but I fear I’m hopelessly lost as far as catching up with the GMG going forward. Yes, I can go back and read all I’ve missed but I’m so disappointed to think I won’t be able to do it “properly”. The way I wanted. I’m going to give it my best shot. Please give me a shout out in prayer. Thanks!
