Our Christmas and New Years – At a Glance

photo[9]

Happy New Year!

It’s a new day and time for a fresh start!  I love new beginnings!

As you saw in 2014, the ministry here expanded.  I am so excited to be hosting a Bible Study right here at Women Living Well – this is my greatest passion and my heart is overjoyed to see women desiring to be in God’s Word daily. You all bless me so much!

For GMG’s who followed along in the fall – you may be wondering where the Sunday post went with the weekly reading plan.  It’s been moved to Mondays.  I will no longer have a Sunday post here in the new year. I am combining the Sunday – weekly reading plan and discussion questions – with the Monday – meditation and memorization posts.

I have received some emails from women asking that I continue to post my typical Women Living Well posts along side the GMG posts.  I will try to do that as much at time allows…

So here is a typical Women Living Well post for you all – Our Christmas and New Years Eve at a glance! (If you follow me on Instagram you may have already seen most of these pics.)

  1. Your family photos are so beautiful. I have to tell you how much your book helped my marriage. The beginning of 2015 is so different and much better than the beginning of 2014 was for our marriage. I didn’t think we were going to make it at all. We’ve got a long way to go in our relationship. But you’ve helped a lot! Please keep sharing your wisdom!! And Happy New Year to you and yours!

  2. Courtney, I am blessed by your ministry. I love your entire family picture celebrating the Birth of our Lord together. My husband and I are first generation Christians. I came from a broken family so holidays are difficult. Since we live far away, it’s our only chance to visit and “witness”. So we realize that Christmas is our “mission” time. We are thankful to be called out from our original families, but we are sure looking forward to a fun Christmas celebration like yours in the future. I’m so excited to start this new year with the GMG Bible studies. Thank you for your worshipful spirit in all that you do. Happy New Year to you & your precious family!

  3. Courtney you have a beautiful family and I love how close you are to your siblings and mom and dad. I am envious of people that were raised by christian parents and have lived such a blessed life. I was not so lucky being physically beaten sexually abused and verbally abused by a horrible father that acts like the devil himself. I know God doesn’t make mistakes but I often wonder WHY I had to be born into that family.
I continue to pray for my parents soul but I have nothing to do with them and it is sad. They are both ill and crippled and all they do is scream and cuss each other. It is so sad that the end of their lives are as horrible as the rest of it.
Just wanted you to know how very blessed you are!

  4. I am mindful of those missing in this years family circle within your family but love seeing your photos. Your family looks like so much fun. Loved seeing your daughter with her AG dolls. I want my daughter to see them; I think they would be friends 🙂 Mine is kind of a tag along and needs some friends to play dolls with. Also, your dog is getting so BIG!!!

    Happy New Year!

  5. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family, Courtney. I’m looking forward to a new year of learning and spiritual growth. Thanks so much for sharing your heart of faith and for all you do to encourgage us in our walk of faith. 2015 is going to be a great year in the Lord!

  6. Dear Courtney,

Such a beautiful & blessed family.

Is there any chance that you might share your stuffed cabbage recipe???

All the best for a happy & healthy 2015-

    Francie

  8. I enjoyed seeing your family pictures. Your children are growing so fast.

  9. Loved this pictures and the time capsule idea! I’m curious about what you put in them? Does each person get one item – or how do you decide? It sounds like a terrific tradition.

    1. Hi Christy,

Some of the things that have gone into the Time Capsule over the years are ultra-sound baby photos, business cards to new jobs, vacation photos, school papers, Binky’s, match box cars, sports memorabilia, verses, poems, obituaries, pictures of friends and much more!

      Hope that helps,
      Courtney
