  1. These studies sound Wonderful ! I’ve been looking through this web site and a few pins…
But, I have not found anything about signing up for the Good Morning Girls…is there one or do I just follow along. Someone help me out, I just finished my BSF Study and want something for the Summer and Fall studies and more ! Thanks all

    1. Hi, Dee! Occasionally there are groups you can join but they only open up from time to time, I believe, like when one book ends and another starts. You can follow the GMG Facebook page for some great discussion anytime. I think this is accurate, but someone correct me if I’m wrong. God bless!

    2. Hi Dee,

We do not have registration or sign-ups. All are welcome to join us anytime! I invite you to join the discussion in the comments each Friday and that’s one way to let us know you are here. 🙂

We are currently in the middle of Leviticus. You can find a morning discussion about the reading for the day over at http://www.facebook.com/goodmorninggirlswlw

We will finish Leviticus on May 26th and then break until June 15th. Then we will begin our summer session in Proverbs and Song of Solomon.

      Hope you will join us!

  3. I am so grateful to have found GMG. I love this! This is really holding me accountable. Thank you Lord for using these women of God!Bless you all!

  4. I just finally joined in for the Leviticus study (although I’ve known about it since you started) it’s been tough, but I’m sticking with it and haven’t missed a day. I’m looking forward to something else, though, and am really looking forward to the summer study 🙂 this is the first time really reading the Bible and despite the book we’re reading, I’m enjoying it & seeing how it points to Jesus! I’m thinking of do previous books you’ve studied during weekends & breaks.

  5. Good Morning! Courtney, I have emailed you, and I know you are busy… I have read about the mentoring programs you have done at your church, would you be willing to email me some details about getting started? My heart longs to do something like that with the women at church, but I don’t know where to begin. I’ve recently finished reading your book Women Living Well, with two of my co-workers and I believe God wants me to do more.

    Can you help please?
    Thank you,
    Sheree W.

    1. Hi Sheree,

I apologize that I do not have anything written up to send to you. The letter published in the book is the letter I sent out to spiritually mature women in our church. It describes the way I matched the women and the role of the mentor. I sent out a form for the mentor to fill out that described her areas of strengths.

After I had some women committed to be the mentors, I set up a table in the foyer of my church and invited women to be mentees. I created a form that the mentee filled out for what areas she was looking to be mentored in and then matched her with the best mentor. Then the two women set up times to meet together either weekly or bi-weekly for 3 months. Sign-ups ran in our church each fall, winter and summer.

Perhaps I’ll write more about this in a blog post sometime. I apologize I don’t have more resources for you.

It is wonderful that you have a burden to minister to women in this way!!! I pray God blesses your new ministry!!
      Lots of Love,
      Courtney

  6. I will be away from July 15th-August 3rd. I will be “unplugged” during that time. Will I be able to get everything once I returned? Will the study be available to go back to? I don’t want to miss this!
    Thanks!

    1. Yes there is a 2+ week break. We will end Leviticus on Tuesday, May 26th– the same day as the announcement…then we will begin our summer session on Monday, June 15th.

      🙂
      Courtney

  7. Must have read wrong before because I thought it was announced Psalms was next. I will probably continue reading on and not break.so hope you don’t mind.

I read a chapter plus my daily devotional.

Thanks for he info up to this point. Prayers for the rest of your study journey.

  8. I’m really looking forward to the summer study! God is blessing me so much through the GMG studies. I read Exodus & Matthew and now Leviticus I am getting deeper into the content through reading a chapter a day and SOAKing a verse(s). I am in a Facebook group and check in on Instagram too. Love the coloring chart. It helps me slow down and really look at the verses. Thank you for blogging through the Bible!

  9. I finished my Leviticus study a couple of days early since we have been staying at home due to illness. I have learned SO much these last weeks. I’ve skimmed through the book before but never saw any real relevance to my life now. This time, the words have almost jumped off the page, at times- I see so much correlation between Leviticus and the last study, Matthew. Thank you for organizing this! I’ve always been unsure of myself where Bible study is concerned. I’m not any longer- this has been a HUGE blessing to me and I can’t wait for the next study to begin.

  10. I just wanted to tell you what a blessing it has been that I found this group on FB. I became ill in October, have seen many doctors, and finally got a diagnosis of a brain tumor in February. It has been a long road of tests and doctors visits, but I have a date for surgery for August 10th. I just looked over the schedule, and I am so grateful that this group will be taking me right up to my surgery and then a break. I was so afraid of missing something! Your group has me excited to pick up my bible each day, journal my thoughts, and seek out the face of God on every moment of my days. He has given me this path and put me on this journey for a reason! I find such comfort in reading other’s comments…to know others may be feeling similar to what I feel. It is all a beautiful gift. Blessings to you and the work you are doing! (I was so gung-ho that I did Ch 26 tonight because my daughter is marching in her last parade for Memorial Day in the morning! I didn’t want to get behind!)
