The Introduction Video to Ecclesiastes: Featuring My Co-Author {aka My Mom}

Watch this introduction to Ecclesiastes and find out all you need to know to join the Good Morning Girls online Bible study that I co-authored with my mom. #Biblestudy #Ecclesiastes #WomensBibleStudy #GoodMorningGirls

I am so excited for you to meet my mother – Beverly Wise. She was my first Bible teacher and my first godly role model and she is the co-author of our summer Bible Study:

Ecclesiastes: Wisdom for Living Well

Available in both Paperback and on Kindle

ecclesiastes-SPINE

My mom preferred to stay behind the scenes of the writing and recording of this Bible Study.  She will not be joining me for the 6 Week, Friday Video Series that is coming ahead – so this is your one chance to hear from her.

My mom already led a group of over 20 women through this Bible study.  In this video, she shares what she learned while writing and leading this study.

Are you new here? Welcome!  You do not have to have a Good Morning Girls Group to join us.  I can be your accountability partner this summer.  Are you wondering though…

What is Good Morning Girls?

“Good Morning Girls” is a title for a group of women who use email, Facebook, or text messaging to keep each other accountable for their quiet times.

How Do I Start a Good Morning Girls accountability group?

Invite some of your friends to join you.  Pray about who from your church, Bible study group, family, neighborhood or workplace would be a good fit.  Groups that are smaller generally work better – 5-12 is a good number especially for email and text messaging groups. Facebook groups can go quite a bit larger and still work.

Do you have a group I can join online?

If you don’t have someone to invite to be in a group with you – come back here to the blog, this Monday – we will have open groups for you to join here on-line.

I’m a new leader and I’m not sure what to do next.

Come back this Monday and I’ll have a special password for you to access a link to our free leader’s manual and to join our Facebook group for GMG Leaders. There you will find all the answers to your questions and support as you lead your group.

There are no sign-ups or enrollments required!

You do not have to be in a group to join us.

All are welcome to join us anytime.

I’ll see you back here this Monday!

And then join us as we begin our study – the following Monday, June 13th!  For more details about the Bible Study – click here.

Walk with the King,

Courtney

  2. Thank You Mrs Wise for writing this Bible Study with Courtney! How blessed she is to have such a Godly mother as yourself.

I cannot WAIT to get started with this!!

  3. I’ve read through and studied Ecclesiastes a few times in the past year or so and have gleaned wisdom from it…but have lacked a deep understanding that only an in-depth Bible study can give me (and God’s guidance -first and foremost)! That’s why I’m so excited about doing this Bible study with GMG! The journals are amazing…I hope we will see more of these in-depth studies in the future! I’m looking forward to June 13th!!

  4. This study couldn’t have come at a better time! I’m so excited to study the book of Ecclesiastes as I identify my current purpose in life. Thank you Mrs Wise for your research on this study and thanks to both of you for the finalization of this study and bringing it to all of us to learn and grow in His word. Courtney, you are a blessing and a consistent encouraging friend in faith. XOXO

  5. Your mother is wonderful. Thank you so much for all the hard work you did to make this study happen. It’s wonderful to see a mother and daughter who loves the lord so much 🙂

  6. I read somewhere that you suggested we do a “Dig for Kids” along with this study. Was it “Dig for Kids: The Book of James” or was it another?

    1. Hi Alisha,

Yes – we will be studying the book of James in the month of August for 2 weeks – and there is a “Dig for Kids: The Book of James” that just released last month. It’s perfect to do with kids this summer – you can find the book here: http://amzn.to/1UjDLy8

      🙂

  7. I am so ready for my book to get here and start. Thank you in advance to you and your dear Mother for all the time she invested for us.

  8. I am excited and looking forward to it. I have been doing your bible studies for a year now and I always talk about it with my friends and regular small group women. I juggle 2 bible studies which make it hard at times but I will never give up on your good morning girls studies, I have learned so much. this new summer study is looking great!

  9. Thank you both for all your work in putting this together! I received my workbook a couple of weeks ago and I’m really looking forward to the study. God bless you both!

    1. No, you do not need the book. I will post free resources and the Bible reading plan for the week every Monday here and a video every Friday but I highly recommend it.

      🙂

  10. I cannot wait to start this study! Thank you Courtney and Beverly for working so hard on this! What a blessing both of you are! I would love to have the passion and faith that both of you have. I don’t know how to live the Word. I have been baptized but I find it difficult to walk with the King on a daily. I am hoping by doing the studies with you I will learn how to walk in faith and be able to walk with the King. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this site!

  11. Praise God for the captioned video. It means a lot to the deaf community to be part of the study. Thank Courtney and Beverly

  12. So sad there is no study guides on your site for those who cannot afford to purchase a book for each bible study. Gets costly. Would love to join in but can’take afford all these books?

  13. You look great, Courtney, and I think you have lost weight as well.
Will you be doing any posts about health and healthy weight loss?
Would love some guidance in that area 🙂

    1. Hi Tommie,

I have lost weight – thanks for noticing. I don’t have any plans right now to write on it – but my friend Clare over at http://www.claresmith.me has great content on health and weight loss from a Christian standpoint. I really recommend her.

      Hope that helps!
      Courtney 🙂

      1. Great! Thanks for sharing! Looks like a wealth helpful information. I’ll check it out thoroughly 🙂

  14. Thank you Mrs. Wise and Courtney for putting together this Bible Study. I am looking forward to begin this Monday!

God bless you and your family.

  15. Good morning
I’m so excited about doing this study while we are on break and I am so glad to hear your teaching videos; I missed your teaching videos while we study the Isaiah…reading your notes is ok, but I love hearing the teaching and I write the points…it helps me learn and the lessons stays with me. I appreciate you! I love you and I’m so grateful for His Word!!
