{Don’t Let Go!} Wrap-Up and What’s Next…

This is it! Just 3 days left of the Making Your Home a Haven Series titled “Don’t Let Go!”

Thank you to everyone who joined us on this journey. You are all such a blessing to me!

As we wrap up this series, I want to post all 4 videos here below in case you missed any of them.

All of the videos and resources will remain available here on the blog so you can do them at your own pace or redo it with friends again later!

In closing, the computer I’m typing this blog post on is currently plugged into the wall. I have had my computer for so long that the battery has no life left in it and it will no longer take a charge.

So, if I unplug my computer — it dies. I took it into Best Buy and they told me I can get a new battery installed but I’d have to part with my computer for 3 weeks while it is shipped to be fixed and well…I was not up for that. So, for now, I’m plugged into the wall! Lol!

Friends, if we spend too much time without our power source — God — we will get drained. We need God every hour!

Don’t Let go!

Keep holding onto God when you feel like giving up and remember, you are not alone. God loves you and He is with you.

I’ve also been working on a special project

  1. Thank you Courtney for being so transparent and open. Week 2 video really helped me. God bless you for being faithful. I am in a season of struggling and of discouragement.

  2. Sister Courtney,
I have been in your place, twice now, with the computer. Both times I bought a battery and replaced it myself. It was really easy. I’m not sure what type of laptop you have, but it might be possible to just replace the battery yourself. Or if you know of a young up-and-coming computer tech soon-to-be person, perhaps s/he could help you. I am blessed with three sons that are very computer savvy, so much so they put my savvy to shame. Lol. At any rate, you should be able to do this without the help (or fees) of an outside source. AND you won’t have to lose your computer, but maybe a few minutes; just long enough to replace the battery.
Thank you for what you do. I may not do the social media stuff, but I do your studies and learn a lot from you. Congratulations on the new hubby too.

  3. Thank you, Courtney, for being so transparent and open. The week 2 video helped me. God bless you for being faithful. I am in a season of struggling and of discouragement.

  4. A poem to share

    Sentinel of Conscience

    From the first prayers,
    And dreams of my journey,
    A silent voice
    Has stood sentinel
    Within my soul.

    No answers given,
    No miracles offered.
    No blinding light
    To penetrate the darkness.
    No dogma or creed,
    No sectarian vision,
    Only silent prayer,
Through times of joy and pain.

    This silent voice,
    This sentinel of conscience,
    Has been my shadow,
    Has shared my life,
    Has given reason enough
    To continue my journey
    Through the darkness,
    And on, into the light.
