My Husband’s Cancer Update + What’s Next at WLW

❤️ Thank you to everyone who has prayed for my husband. I really appreciate the heartfelt emails, comments and DMs. I apologize that SO many go unanswered. It is just not humanly possible to answer them all. But I do read them ALL and am so grateful. 🙏

Recently, quite a few of you have asked for an update on Keith and so I’ve recorded a YouTube video where I walk you through everything – from his cancer diagnosis and recent medical updates to what’s next for Women Living Well!

💛 Thank you for taking the time to watch and walk through this season with us.

I know many of you are facing your own struggles, whether big or small, and I want to remind you today that God is faithful! Even when the path is uncertain, even when it’s hard to see the way forward, He is holding you in His hands.

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.
Psalm 91:1-2

What’s Next at WLW?

Due to my husband’s health, I was not able to write our new winter study for our “Reading Through the Bible” series. BUT I am working on something new and a little different that I think we all could use in the new year.

I want to invite you to come back NEXT WEEK,
when I announce this new January series.

I can’t wait to walk through it with you, and I hope it will bring encouragement, practical tools, and spiritual growth as we step into the new year together!

Keep walking with the King,

Courtney

  2. Wow, your sweet spirit I needed! My husband also was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2023. It came back in May 2025. He’s not ready for a stem cell so he’s doing dava, velcaide, and revlimid. I’ll certainly be praying for your husband and your family.! Gods in control and our family knows that but it’s also heartbreaking. Prayers🦋 Lee wyant

  5. Strengthened in the Secret Place is a helpful and encouraging Bible study—one which is helping me draw closer to the presence of the LORD in my own personal walk with Him. It provides many spiritual truths to ponder, whilst emphasising the importance of regular quiet time alone with the LORD.

I would recommend this study to anyone facing a difficult time in their lives, as well as those seeking to glorify God in their daily lives.

  6. Thank you so much for sharing your life’s journeys, and your Faith. They are strengthening and encouraging, and great reminders that God is in
control. I will pray for you, your husband and your families. I will watch for your Healthy Living Series.

  7. Sending prayers and encouragement to you. As we move through different seasons of life, it’s easy to think, “I made it through, now it will be smooth sailing.” Yet one hardship doesn’t shield us from another. What does remain constant is our mighty God, who walks beside us through every challenge. Even in crisis, He has a way of deepening our gratitude for blessings both big and small. May your faith be a steady source of strength and peace in the days ahead.

  8. Thank you for sharing. I’m continuing to pray for your husband and family. I love your spirit and dedication. Merry Christmas!!

  10. Thank you so much for sharing! I am praying for your husband!!! I have MGUS right now that is smoldering Multiple Myeloma, and I’m praying that my numbers stay steady. I get checked every 3 months. I am looking forward to your teaching on healthy living! God bless you and your family!

  11. God bless you and your husband. I’m so, so sorry you are going through this. I went through four years of battling blood cancer with my teenage son. God is SO faithful and at the end of the day when you are empty – I use to say to my son – lets go to bed because guaranteed there will be a new little pile of mercies waiting for us in the morning….and there always was!!! So hard but you are such a blessing to so many and I’m SO grateful to you. Also – super stoked about the healthy living study!!! Bring it on!!!!!!!! You are the very best.

  12. Courtney, My goodness hearing this whole journey, makes me amazed at you even more. The smile on your face throughout is such a testament to how you live your life + fave your struggles. I’m going through being caretaker for my son after knee surgery and have been so exhausted, emotional etc… You bring such light & joy even while you are going through such a long health journey. This brought me to tears. You are a huge encouragement to me! Prayers for your husband and you🙏🏼🙏🏼Thank you for all you do! Merry Christmas♥️

  13. Dear Courtney, It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a video of yours. I did happen to see about your husband’s cancer diagnosis awhile back and just last night was wondering if there was an update and I found this. Thank you for updating us. Holding you both up in prayer as well as your respective kids. I was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2013 and told I had 5-7 years to live. I have been in remission for almost 13 years and have no deficiencies. I’m believing God for a miracle for you and Keith. That his kidney function will return to normal despite it not looking like that will happen without a transplant and that he will be permanently in remission even though there is no cure for multiple myeloma. First and foremost I’m praying for the peace that passes understanding. I think that saying gets said tritely, but I know from personal experience, it’s a real thing! ((Hugs))
