πŸ₯— πŸ™ ✨ A Healthier You Begins Before Day One: How to Prepare


I just finished recording the first video for A HEALTHIER YOU!
AND I can’t wait to begin with you THIS Monday – January 12th! πŸ€—

πŸŽ₯ The first video will be LIVE THIS Sunday here on the blog and out on my Youtube channel.

So, I’ve been thinking about YOU as I prepare to begin and I want to encourage you to create a little space for intention.

A few small preparations now will help once we begin and for a more detailed list look in the front of the A HEALTHIER YOU workbook at the guide titled “What You’ll Need to Get Started.”

Here’s what I’m gathering as I get ready:

πŸ“š I’ve pulled out my A HEALTHIER YOU journal and I three hole punched it and put it into a 3 ring binder. I’m excited to use the health trackers that are included inside because I want a place to jot down what I’m eating, how I’m moving, how I’m sleeping and also what the Lord is showing me along the way.

πŸ“– Right next to it sits my Bible and a pen, because this journey has to begin and end with HIM πŸ™Œ . I know I’ll want to write down Scripture, prayers, and honest reflections as the days unfold.

πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ I’m also thinking ahead about my workout plan. Not in an all-or-nothing way, but realistically. I’ve decided when I’ll workout, where it will happen, and what kind of workout makes sense for me right now.

🎢 I’m creating a music playlist that lifts my spirit – worship songs, encouraging lyrics, and anything with a good beat!

πŸ₯— In my kitchen, I’m doing a little clearing out of foods leftover from the holidays that are not healthy and a little planning ahead. I’m removing foods that trip me up and stocking up on nourishing options. I’m making a loose meal plan and keeping healthy snacks ready.

πŸ—“οΈ I’m also paying attention to the rhythms of my days. I’m looking at my calendar and making space for workouts, meal prep, rest, and sleep because getting healthier DOES NOT flourish in chaos.

πŸ‘Ÿ I’m laying out comfortable workout clothes, gathering what I need, and am thankful for a support system in this season as we do this TOGETHER. No one is meant to do this alone.

So, If you don’t have everything ready yet, that’s okay. Just begin with what you have. God meets us in our willingness, not our readiness. And I’ll give you some ideas on the video on Sunday!
