🎉 Welcome back to Week 3 of Walking through the Old Testament where we are walking through all 39 books of the Old Testament in 31 Days!
This week, we are slowing down and stepping into MY FAVORITES…the Wisdom and Poetry Books!! That’s Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon.
It truly is beautiful! 🌺
Over the last two weeks, we have watched the storyline of the Old Testament move forward quickly from creation and the fall, to God choosing a people for Himself, delivering them from slavery, leading them through the wilderness, bringing them into the Promised Land, and walking with them through judges, kings, victories, defeats, exile, and restoration.
But now, the storyline pauses.
And the Wisdom and Poetry Books begin! I LOVE these books! ❤️ They meet us in the middle of REAL LIFE and we NEED REAL WISDOM – in our suffering, worship, decisions, questions, purpose, relationships, and love.
