You don’t want to miss this action packed book of the Bible!Β God’s word is alive and active and I know we are going to grow together.Β We will learn many life lessons from the lives of both the good and the bad kings.

What’s 1 Kings all about?
1 Kings begins with one of David’s sons contending for the throne but instead Solomon is crowned as King.Β Then we watch Solomon’s reign, as he is given the gift of wisdom and builds the magnificent temple for the Lord. Following this great project, Solomon falls into sin and does not end as well as he started.Β After Solomon’s death, the kingdom is divided and we will read about the procession of the rise and fall of the Kings of Israel and Judah.Β Β We will also see the faithful ministry of the prophet Elijah and the call of the prophet Elisha.

We areΒ Reading Through the Bibleβ one chapter a day β five days a week.
There are no sign-ups or enrollments.
We are reading the Bible, switching back and forth between the New Testament and the Old Testament.

I have never joined a FB Bible study. How does the process work?
Hi Angela,
When the study begins on April 1st, you will find a Facebook post with the reading for the day and a discussion about the reading. Then every day after, until we complete the study, the reading for the day will be posted there. All you have to do is hop in on the discussions and enjoy reading others reflections as well. I am SO excited! Thank you once again!! β€οΈβ€οΈ Oh and I was wondering can you share what program you use for publishing your books on Amazon?? My oldest daughter has written a study guide about insects and canβt find a legitimate avenue for publishing! If this is inappropriate, Iβm sorry but Iβve done almost every study youβve made (my favorite so far has been Rest & Release) and I know you are TOP notch in everything you do!! Thank you again!!!

Oh my!! Perfect timing!! My husband was seriously injured at work Dec 26th. We still donβt know if heβll ever walk on his left leg again. Heβs just started using his right leg. He has been reading my Jesus Calling devotional with me every morning, and heβs starting to ask βwhat do you want to do togetherβ? This is perfect!! I will order both our journals!!
