The Books of the Prophets Explained (Old Testament – Week 4)

🎉 Welcome back to the 4th Week of Walking through the Old Testament.

We are walking through all 39 books of the Old Testament in 31 Days!

Now this week, we come to the final section of the Old Testament: the Prophets.  And I’ll be honest the prophetic books can feel intimidating.  There are warnings, judgment, exile, strange imagery and messages to nations we may not know much about.

But underneath all of the warnings is the mercy and love of God. The prophets were sent because God loves His people. God was calling them back.

Again and again, the message of the prophets is this: Return to Me. And friend, that message is not just for Israel. It is for us too.

When our hearts drift, God still says, “Return.”

It truly is beautiful! 🌺
