Frozen Yogurt Smoothies
The warm spring weather beckons me to pull out my blender! It’s smoothie time in our home and here is our number 1 favorite smoothie! It’s our Fat Free Frozen Yogurt Strawberry Smoothie!
There is no exact science to what exactly I put in – so here’s what I kinda put into the blender:
15 sugar free frozen strawberries (slightly thawed in the microwave for 45 seconds)
1 ripe banana (you can leave this out if you want)
3-4 splashes of orange juice
1-2 tablespoons of sugar
And a bunch of scoops of fat-free frozen yogurt (we use Edy’s – fat free and only 90 calories!)
Mix it all together and you have 2-4 servings of smoothies!
I like to have my smoothie for lunch with popcorn! Mmmmmm…spring has arrived!
Walk with the King!
Yum! Smoothies and popcorn for lunch – sounds good!
I love smoothies Courtney you got me wanting one now!! LOL I like to use smoothies for losing weight cause you can get so creative with what you put in them and not taste it. Cant wait to try this one.
Have a blessed day!
I went over to a friend's house Wednesday evening to sit on her porch for a chat and a smoothie. 🙂 This sounds yummy –
Popcorn and smoothies go perfectly together. This would work for dessert too.
That sounds yummy! My girlie loves fruit and yogurt. I am adding this to my favorites! Thanks for sharing!
Yummo! That looks awesome! I love your recipes! You seem to have it all right! Thanks for all the Christian inspiration!!
We love strawberry and banana frozen yogurt smoothies too! We add Silk Fruit and Protein instead of the oj and sugar and toss in 2-4 TBS of ground flax or wheat germ….soooo good!
