  1. I’m glad to read about these advent devotions! However, after having a conversation at dinner with our 11 yr old son, we discovered a very disturbing belief our son thought was true! Let me explain, we were talking about Advent devotions, and what we were going to do this Christmas Season! I mentioned how it would be wonderful to go through all the prophesies of Christ’s Birth and how Jesus fulfilled every single one! To which our middle child responded: “well yes, that would be good, but not all the prophesies are fulfilled!” He went on to say that not all of the prophesies of the coming Messiah’s birth, life, and death were actually fulfilled!!! ~GULP~
We homeschool, I teach apologetics to my children as well as in a class to high schoolers, and this was SHOCKING down to my soul! We need some Advent Devotions that show how The Word of God is ALL TRUE, that all SCRIPTURE backs up the ENTIRE life of Christ, GOD’s SON!
I’ve ordered an Advent devotional that claims to do this from Alistair Begg‘s ministry- but honestly there isn’t a wide selection for families to focus on this subject!!! We ONLY get so many years with our children… maybe 18 Christmases? I REALLY would love to know all of the prophesy scriptures and do an exhaustive study in God’s Word about how all of them were fulfilled! (Except the ones referring to the last days…. which are yet to happen!)
Love you , and ALL you do, my sweet Sister-in-Christ!
    Jenna

  2. Hi, my name is Maria and it’s my first time participating in the 3 month tracker. My question is that I have not seen any post on Instagram or Facebook on what to do for the Month 2. Am I to do the same things or did I miss something?
