Welcome to Good Morning Girls!  GMG is a community of like-minded women – here to cheer you on in your study of God’s Word.  We’ll keep you accountable and encourage you on weary days.  I hope you will commit to studying 2 Corinthians with us. I know you will be blessed.

Here is the free printable short SOAK version of the 2 Corinthians Journal for logging your SOAK study.   This is for those who are not purchasing the Paperback Journal.

This is not the same as the Paperback Journal – this eJournal has been created for low-cost printing on a home printer and does not include the Introduction to 1 Corinthians, Verses of the Day or Reflection questions.

 

Invite your sons and daughters!  

Just like us – our children NEED to be in God’s Word daily.  Children over the age of ten are capable of reading a chapter a day and SOAKing what they have read. I encourage you to introduce this method of study to your children.  Teach them how to drink from the living well of God’s word and soak in all the spiritual nourishment they can!

If you have a son joining you – there is a journal available for them! The interior is identical to the girls journal.

We are Reading Through the Bible– one chapter a day – five days a week.

There are no sign-ups or enrollments.

We are reading through the Bible, switching back and forth between the New Testament and the Old Testament.

So far we have completed 27 books of the Bible:

Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, Esther, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, Hosea, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans, 1 Corinthians and James!  You can find ALL of the links to past studies on the GMG Resources Page.

Fridays – they’ll be a Friday wrap-up video or devotional here on the blog.

On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, I’ll be posting encouragement for your study in the book of 2 Corinthians.  Follow me on Instagram here.

There is no right or wrong way to do this.  This is all optional – pick and choose what works best for you.

There are no sign-ups or enrollments.

I encourage you to invite your friends and start your own Good Morning Girls group.  You can keep each other accountable using email, text messaging or creating a Facebook group.

Accountability works in reaching our goals – whether it’s losing weight, becoming more organized, or getting into God’s word daily – the encouragement of others keeps us going on days when we’d rather quit!

  14. Hello Courtney! I pray all is well with you and your children, and extended family! Thank you for continuing to do what you do. I don’t know if this comes easy, naturally, or is at times a daily struggle for you. But, please know that it is appreciated! You are doing an amazing job! Also, I appreciate the free shorter, printable version of workbook you make available. I have bought the workbook for every study until the one coming up due to some financial difficulties. So, having this option available is great! I also do not have a Facebook account(for personal reasons), so having different platforms to connect with you is huge for me! Thank you for your daily commitment to showing, spreading, and teaching the gospel!

  16. Good morning. While I have been filling you guys for a while this is the first time I am going to do a bible study. I do not plan to purchase a guide. I wondered if the verse and reflection question will be posted? I have the other resources printed from a long time ago.

    1. Hi Donna! If you look through the comments above, there are a couple ladies that have openings in their small groups- you can reach out to one of them about joining their group. You can subscribe to the blog posts on the home page by entering your email. There will be a blog post every Monday and Friday. Also, I would recommend checking out the Facebook page- the chapter reading and the daily verse image is posted every day and there are some really great insights/discussions under those posts.   20. Here is the group I am leading. Right now it is just me and my best friend that lives in Alabama (I live in Indiana). I am still young, so I am not sure that I am exactly the greatest leader. However, I have a testimony, and I love to share it. I love having close relationships with women that inspire me and help keep my spirits up and that allow me to do the same for them. I am not looking to let the group be too large because I want the members to develop a great relationship with each other through God, Our Father.
