π 𧑠SOMETHING NEW is Coming This Fall 𧑠π
π Cue the confetti!! π
I am SO excited to announce the new fall study!
Itβs a little different from my other fall studies. So, let me explain…
For those of you who have been following the Blogging Through the Bible Series, we have now studied TWENTY-FIVE books of the Old Testament together!
Isnβt that amazing!?! π€ (And we have also studied thirteen books of the New Testament with a total of 38 books completed.)
This means we only have 14 books of the Old Testament left and most of them are the Minor Prophets which are often some of the least studied books of the Bible because they are short, historically complex, and filled with warnings of judgment and calls to repentance. But tucked inside these small books are powerful reminders of Godβs holiness, justice, love, and promise of restoration.
If you are new here, these are the books we have completed on our journey so far: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 & 2 Samuel, 1 & 2 Kings, 1 & 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Hosea and Jonah.
To the women who completed those studies with me, I commend you!! π Weren’t they amazing? π€ If you missed any of them you can find them all in my journal archives. Just click on the book of the Bible and it will take you to a landing page with all of my resources and videos.)
So, as I looked ahead at our journey to complete the Old Testament, I felt this was the right time to pause, step back and see the BIG PICTURE. πΌοΈ
π Introducing our NEW 2026 Fall Bible Study!
Walking Through the Old Testament
A 31-Day Devotional Journey
π 𧑠This fall, we are going to walk through the
entire Old Testament...one book at a time.
Choose the Journal That Fits You Best
Both journals include the SAME 31-day devotional journey through the Old Testament with the same:
- Verse of the Day for meditation
- Devotional Overview of each book of the Bible
- Devotional Reflection to help you live out God’s Word
The only difference is how you choose to βSOAKβ it in.
π The 31-Day Devotional Journey includes reflection questions and space to write your answers and prayers.
𧩠The 31-Day Devotional Word Search Journey includes a word search each day to help you slow down and reflect on what you learned.
Same study.
Same truth.
Two different ways to SOAK it in.
Choose the one that fits you best!
From Genesis to Malachi, the Old Testament is not a random collection of stories, laws, kings, prophets, poetry, and history. It is ONE big story of Godβs faithfulness, His covenant promises, His holiness, His mercy, and His redeeming love. π
Walking Through the Old Testament will give us a chance to:
1. Review the books we have already studied.
We have covered so much ground together, this will help refresh our hearts and minds or if you are new here you can jump in and be all caught up.
2. Understand how the Old Testament fits together.
We will look at the Books of the Law, the History Books, the Wisdom and Poetry Books, the Major Prophets, and the Minor Prophets so we can better understand the flow of Scripture.
3. Understand the remaining books of the Old Testament we have yet to study.
The remaining books are not always easy to understand, but when we see where they fit in the bigger story, it is all so beautiful.π·
4. See how every book points us to Jesus.
From creation to covenant, from the wilderness to the Promised Land, from kings and prophets to the promise of the coming Messiah –> the Old Testament is always pointing us forward to Christ. π
5. Grow in confidence as we read Godβs Word.
Each day, we will look at one book or one small group of connected books. Youβll get a clear overview, a devotional reflection, a Verse of the Day, and then youβll have a way to βSOAKβ it in – either through a word search or through journaling and reflection questions.
ποΈ π This study will run from September 1st β September 31st!
Iβll be back next week with more details but for nowβ¦
βοΈ Mark your calendars!
π Spread the Word!
π§ Share this post with your friends!
I canβt wait to take this journey with you!
And one last thing, thank you to everyone who has been praying for my husband. π We appreciate it!!! He is currently still in treatment for his cancer (it’s been over a year now β€οΈβπ©Ή ) but he is stable and Lord willing, going into remission soon so they have begun the paperwork for a kidney transplant. π All glory to God! Thank you so much!
Keep walking with the King,
Courtney

I am so excited to see this! Iβve been a believer for almost 50 years and was just thinking lately how I card a deep dive in the OT. Iβll buy the journal but how do I participate in the study? Is it online? Please explain. Thank you
